Crash on the TET, TWICE, Moto Guzzi V85TT going down

- Day off from work riding around on the Dutch TET.
First off was just very slippery mud, and the front wheel loosing traction.
Made me roll trough a puddle.
Second off.. well stupid horses is all I have to say!!
My Moto Guzzi V85TT is equipped with a a decat Y-link pipe from:

TKC80'S knobby tires front and back.
Hyperpro progressive springs in the forks and a Hyperpro shock and spring setup in the rear.
Removed passenger foot pegs and the rear rack.
Navigation off road with Osmand Plus on my Samsung S10 in a cheap x-grip clone.

It's adventure bike, not dirt bike :'D
It’s obvious watching you ride that your back a basic understanding of hydrodynamics. When in the rut, stay in the rut, anything else leads to just exactly what happened to you there. Rut acts like opposite train rails in that they secure the wheels nicely tucked. Attempting to “climb out” as you did was akin to putting stock on the track, breaking that groove and track attempt.
If you remember the George of the Jungle song...watch out for that tree!
Yes, a motorcycle can easily become unbalanced in deep longitudinal grooves 😫
2:04 I wished to see you struggling raising the heavy trail bike from the mud, it's the funniest part of it 🤣
And also I would figure out how much I would have to fight with it, when I buy the beautiful Moto Guzzi v85TT.

Manca il salto in pista da cross e dopo le cazzate le ha fatte tutte.
Onaangepaste snelheid (om allerlei redenen...rijvaardigheid bestuurder op één...), vandaar de 2 crashes, niets om trots op te zijn
Ik ben ook niet uitermate trots op het vallen, maar ik ben wel aan het rijden en aan het leren. Niks mis mee toch?
Overigens ligt het meer aan mijn niet correcte houding dan aan de snelheid.
4:50 It was very nice and respectful of you to be kind to the horses, but then stupid to want to switch back to the wide path through a narrow section with a sharp steering movement as quickly as possible. You should have waited for a wider spot so that you didn't have to turn so much. But we all make mistakes and learn from them.

Well done I imagine the camera doesn’t show how rough those trails were. Good riding, especially on a bigger bike like that 👍

Is it difficult to manage a dry clutch offroad? I imagine you can't rely on feathering it all the time, but I've never ridden one so I don't know.
No problem, atleast not in the stuff I'm riding with this bike.
That front tire was going where it pleased. Hang on loosely.

Kan gebeuren. Wel balen natuurlijk,lullig zoiets. Tof dat je het wel uploadt! Ook de delen waar je misschien minder trots op bent,mjaa die hebben we allemaal toch.

I guess, you need better tyres for that type of terrain. How do you like the bike?
Like the bike a lot, does everything I want it to do. And it still is way beter looking than a GS..
@dustyroadsnl I also like how it looks. And I watched almost every video of this bike. Basically, everybody loves it, of course, it has some "flaws" but I think it's perfect. Especially when you compare the price with for example new GS 900, Africa, etc. And I am not planning to do some hard-core enduro stuff, but I want it to be capable, and this bike has all of that. Long range, comfort, off-road capability and decent speed.

Ben je tevreden met de MG V85?
Yes dat was ik zeker, heb ondertussen een andere motor, Tuareg 660. Maar ik zou de Guzzi zo weer kopen, heerlijk ding. Kan eigenlijk alles, net een Zwitser zakmes.

Ik ben mezelf op dit moment aan het oriënteren maar moet eerlijk zeggen dat er veel lovende reacties zijn :)
Which tyres do you suggest for 20 % off road and 80% road??
Dry offroad? The V85TT standard Michelin Anakee Adventure will do just fine. Or the Dunlop Trailmax mission. But wet offroad is a whole other story. In my opinion: go mainstream OEM adventure tires, or go full out knobby's
