@@KABELLARIUM Thank you so much!
This is really good! 👏 I'd say it's the best short film I've seen from you so far. Not so much in an "I can relate" way, but more about how well it's produced.
I think it had the best ending it could have had. It did seem strange how Vincent suddenly converted to being straight. I don't think anyone could change from one to the other, unless they were actually bi. The ending showed that Vincent was just trying to fit in, to be more accepted in the world. It made the middle section seem more believable.
I'm wondering if I should share some of your work. I'm in a few ace groups. I'm no longer in that group where I found your link to "A Matter of Trust" that time. (Long story)! I'm in some others though.
@@EarlOfMaladyCrescent Thank you! That's a wonderful review! Of course, I'd love you to share my work as much as possible! I'm very flattered 🥰
@lthewitt Sorry about the delay. My phone has been a bit busy lately. That's mostly because I made an ace post for a couple of groups & had a lot of comments to get through. I don't usually post something immediately after a previous one, but I'll try not to leave it too long before sharing "A Matter of Trust". 🙂
Love this, bravo 🙌
Thank you so much, Raj!
Idk if I was supposed to learn something about acceptance of myself but I've been in the position of wishing that I wasn't into men. Like here and there I feel something for a woman but then I always fall back to men. I sometimes just feel lost on it all. I always felt life would be easier if it were a choice. Could just be that the grass is always greener on the other side
@@martinramirez3813 Did you feel the film was relatable or helpful?
@lthewitt yea I felt it was relatable and may help me out with what to do with myself
@@martinramirez3813 So glad to hear that, mate!
it's good to be truthful and honest with your feelings.
Honestly to allow yourself to love whoever you love is what scares people. Whether you are gay and somehow fall for a women that is ok and if you are considered straight and fall for a man that is ok too. Remember sometimes the heart and head get muffled by the sounds around us.
I'm a little confused about the ending. Obviously, the guy isn't straight, but it cut from him going "i wish..." to them falling asleep on each other. It would've been cool to see him go through the motions of accepting himself for who he is. Especially since he'd been going to therapy and still thought he was straight. Don't get me wrong, therapy is great. Been in it for the majority of my 42 years of life. I'm simply wondering why he went to therapy and what they spoke about. We, as an audience (and his friend), could see he needed it, but he seemed reluctant and unsure why she suggested it.
I get that it's just a short little film, but the ending felt like it suddenly moved at the speed of light. It's got a great message and the acting was good. :) The woman he ended up dating was by far my favorite character. I could see myself having amazing conversations with her for hours. :)
@@MidnightSonnet I thought about that, but in the end it seemed better to show rather than tell. The shot of him waking up with a smile told us that he was at peace with himself without him needing to say anything.
18:50 watch out behind you!!! (Kidding)
😂
