Im disappointed in the video game community hating on Primal so much. Games arent all about 24/7 action, drama and suspense like a Netflix original, you gotta appreciate the world too and Primal had an unbelievably beautiful world

Far Cry 4 is criminally underrated. Its actually a refined version of Far Cry 3 which is the best game in the franchize. Far Cry 5 and 6 introduced many RPG mechanics and dumbed down the game mechanics. Plus the FC 4 Himalayan setting in Kyrat is beautiful. How do you call it trash ?

Far Cry 4 for is second after 3. Gameplay wise its a straight upgrade, story/atmosphere can’t top 3 though. Primal is my third fav. I originally blew it off but once I did play it my eyes opened. It was such a fresh new take that kept everything I loved about far cry. Story was pretty good too
I have never felt true rage until now. The fact this man put farcry 4 under farcry 6 is wild. Farcry 6 doesn't even make sense half the time, and don't get me started with the dlcs, there more repetitive that a rogue like. One dlc doesn't even relate to any farcry lore and seems like they just took mushrooms and the other is literally just the bosses from farcry 3-5.

It was a less refined sandbox game, but it set the tone for the kind of sandbox game all the other far crys would become. Assassin's creed 1 had similar issues, but was also a stepping stone for a whole franchise.

It's not always easy to play but the Primal world is amazing. The nature including all those animals, flora, rivers and caves is astounding and beautiful! And dangerous, of course! And no AK-47 or AR-15 in sight 😂

Of course we are used to better graphics nowadays, BUT Far cry 2 was it back in time ! I still love it, its my favourite ! ❤️
Farcry primal on permadeath has been the most tense and thrilling experience I’ve ever had. A bear chased me in circles around a boulder and almost killed me and I had to put the game down for two days because of the stress of almost losing everything. One time I was exploring a little abandoned village (had no npcs or a resting spot) when night time came, and a pack of wolves started circling the edge of the village. The only thing that scares them away is torches, and I only had enough ingredients to craft one. I spent the entire night huddled inside and abandoned hut, periodically setting nearby huts on fire so I’d have a fire source to light up my clubs and keep the wolves at bay, while occasionally trying to make a run for a nearby outpost before being driven back to the abandoned village by the wolves. Primal permadeath puts you in your place on the foodchain. If you find risky survival games thrilling then it’s the best Farcry experience hands down.
Far cry 2 is by far the best in the series and its not even debatable. One of the most immersive games ive played where you dont feel invincible, you slowly become a killing machine and use have to navigate using a gps and maps. If you wanted to take out a stronghold you had to actually plan it out. If yiu shot someone in the leg there buddies would drag them to cover and the guy who is shot would limp around with a pistol. The fire mechanics were amazing. The enviroment was amazing, the map editor was amazing, the way you got money was interesting and has not been repeated. The only gripe i have is the limited fast travel points and the amount of enemy vehicles on the road. Since the gunfights were actually difficult its not ideal to run into a lot unexpected gunfights. I think crowbcat did a comparison video explaing how far cry 2 is the best. Watch it if you dont believe me.
FC4, FC3, FC5, FC2, FC6, FC ND, FC Primal Didn't play the first one so I know nothing about it. FC4 holds a special place in my heart as it is set in Himalayas.

I played Far Cry one when it was released, one of the best games in my life, great guns, beautiful islands and water, great and 10 years before its release date, it also inspired both Far Cry Series and Crisis series in addition to other games that emtated them so Far Cry 1 is the best one.

The first part doesn't get the love it actually deserves. At the time, the game was groundbreaking both technically and in terms of gameplay, and it was made by a newly founded development studio with no real experience.

If you wanted to take out a stronghold you had to actually plan it out. If yiu shot someone in the leg there buddies would drag them to cover and the guy who is shot would limp around with a pistol. The fire mechanics were amazing. The enviroment was amazing, the map editor was amazing, the way you got money was interesting and has not been repeated. The only gripe i have is the limited fast travel points and the amount of enemy vehicles on the road. Since the gunfights were actually difficult its not ideal to run into a lot unexpected gunfights. I think crowbcat did a comparison video explaing how far cry 2 is the best. Watch it if you dont believe me.

Primal is number 1 for me such a unique game, Far cry 2 is second then farcry 3 then 4.
I played Far Cry one when it was released, one of the best games in my life, great guns, beautiful islands and water, great and 10 years before its release date, it also inspired both Far Cry Series and Crisis series in addition to other games that emtated them so Far Cry 1 is the best one.

farcry 4 is literally the epitome of farcry, way better gameplay graphics guns, pretty much a huge upgrade from 3, and after that farcry never felt the same. Farcry 4 IS THE GOAT, THE GOAAAT

The first part doesn't get the love it actually deserves. At the time, the game was groundbreaking both technically and in terms of gameplay, and it was made by a newly founded development studio with no real experience.
this dude did not just call primal boring dawg, the amount of creativity you can put in claiming bonfires is crazy. this dude was prolly doing them village side quests, cuz they were actually boring. im all for the taming all the beasts and stealth claiming bonfires. ive completed the game, and it was great
