Tamara, thank you so much for featuring MAYSAMA Green Rooibos Pressed Serum 🙏. I’m so happy you are loving my antioxidant serum. The research study was our own collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Institute, which showed that green Rooibos is a potent antioxidant, comparable to green tea. The green Rooibos comes from the fresh leaves which have not been oxidised, unlike red (fermented) Rooibos. Our serum is formulated with pharmaceutical grade (not organic) green Rooibos extract, which is around 70 times more potent than red Rooibos. The natural colour and aroma does come from the green Rooibos extract, which ironically is red in colour! Thank you so much for your glowing review. Ever grateful 😊
And thank YOU for introducing me to your wonderful serum! I will pin your comment so my viewers have all the facts correctly...I mis understood about the research and fermentation. Either way I am loving it. And thank you for your generous discount code ❤️
Tamara🍑 I love you did a video explaining the importance of antioxidants and the skins health. I know I say this each time🤷🏽♀️ I’m a master esthetician with over thirty years of practical knowledge with skin and skin care products. I’m 54 and I do nothing invasive to my skin ( injectables or foundation) I own three holistic skin care salons. 2 Closed now with Covid 😞 I have based my (25 years and vegan and not tested on animals ) skin care line on a Harvard university study that showed that antioxidants are the only things that truly penetrates the skin. Most everything else sits on top. Vitamin C must have Ascorbic acid to penetrate the skin with ease and naturally. The problem is many skin care companies do not use non oxidizing ingredients because it can be costly. We use GOLD( huge antioxidant and anti inflammatory) for example in our vitamin C. It keeps the products from oxidizing and keeps it stable. It can be used on any skin type with no issues. My point it to be sure to read your labels. In the beauty industry we have a huge issue with companies not listing their full ingredients list. Also don’t use synthetic ingredients ( The Ordinary) I know it’s cheap but remember, you get what you pay for and we know ingredients get into our bloodstream. It simply isn’t worth your health in the future. I could go on and on! I just loved you talked about the importance of antioxidants in GOOD skin care and to eat🙌🏻 My comments are always said with respect for all you do and I hope you don’t mind. Skin is my livelihood and having to close my salons has been devastating. UA-cam is my lifeline right now. Just tell me to stop commenting if it bothers you. Also if you wound be interested in trying my line? Let me know. Although it sounds like you love what you use. 🍑 🍑Lisa Peaches Skin Care
I don't 'enjoy' skincare the way you do, Tamara. I don't pause between steps. After cleansing, on wet skin, I apply Paula's Choice toner, a drop of HA, a drop of Paula's Choice Transformative CBD Skin Milk, & a drop of her CBD oil, followed by CeraVe spf or CeraVe cream. That's AM & PM. None of them bother my very sensitive skin & that's key. I keep a gallon of rooibos tea w/lemon & a bit of stevia in the fridge at all times so I imbibe my antioxidants all day long. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY
Your skincare sounds wonderful, Jackie! I’ve been meaning to try CBD oil! I drink green tea everyday but am going to try the rooibos tea! Have a wonderful Sunday! ❤️❤️❤️
Maysama is my favorite of the serums. I ran out and my face is just not the same. I am waiting on my order now and it can’t get here soon enough. The bottle was now $62 when I ordered it a couple of days ago. This product is a holy grail for me. I have not tried the Coenzyme Q-10 yet, but I will shortly as I loved the consistency and what it is about that you mentioned in the video. Thank you Tamara. Loved the video.
Another informative video. I'm watching various video to learn about these ingredients, primarily the antioxidants and vitamin A. I've decided to go with Cureology for my vitamin A product. (Currently I'm using No7 retinol). When my vitamin C serum from Dr. Dennis Gross is low, I'll be purchasing the Timeless Vitamin C. My days of wandering through the makeup departments trying to choose a skin care regimen are over thanks to what I've learned on both your videos and Angie Hot and Flashy.
good to know! I was thinking I might have been over doing it. But I love all the serums so much! I suppose I could also alternate days. Thanks for the info Lisa ❤️
I recently moved up from a 10% Niacinamide from Good Molecules, which I really loved, to Paula's Choice 20% Niacinamide. I like it so much , I ordered a backup so I won't run out. I use it in my daily am routine.
Wonderful information! I already use all of these (Timeless V. C, CoQ10, and a different Niacinamide serum by Tiam) except for the MAYSAMA Green Rooibos Pressed Serum, and the ingredients list on it is just astounding! So of course I had to try it. Thank you so much for the coupon code! I can't wait to see how it goes.
Tracie Stroud Hi Tracie! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video and I’m excited for you to be trying the Maysama! It’s really, really lovely...let me know how it goes! ❤️
Great video! I am so excited to try the Maysama! I ave we actively trying to add more antioxidants to my routine. Also I love your adorable T necklace!
Hi Tamara, another great and informative video. I use the timeless coq10, their vitamin c and their matrixl Sinth six serum, love all of them! Much love, Sheila
Thank you Emilia! I have used Botox in 11's and marionette lines every 6 months for about 15 years and have had cheek and lip fillers in the past...last filler in 2017. I enjoy fillers but easy to overdo and very expensive. I am looking into Fraxel...Thanks for the question!
With your morning routine have you noticed if there is any balling or pealing when you apply make up. P.S. Do these serums settle in to lines and wrinkles. I prefer a Natural Matt look and not greasy. Thanks for your Reviews, you look wonderful. Have a blessed day ❤️
Henrietta Simon thank you Henrietta! I have not had any pilling...and the serums do not settle into lines or wrinkles. I do let the products set for a while between and before going in with my Sunscreen/foundation. Hope this helps! 😘❤️
@@TamarasTimelessBeauty Thanks for your response and it does help. I've had the Timeless vitamin C on my to try list for a while now. I had a bad reaction to the Peter Thomas Roth Vitamin c products.
Love your routine!!! Mine is almost identical. I too love co q10. Try using Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6 too. I have also been loving Cosrx 96 snail Mucin with 2 drops of squalane as a moisturizer..it is wonderful! Many benefits to snail mucin if your curious.
Hi Kelly Ann! Great minds think alike 😊...I have used and do love the Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6...so many serums...only one face LOL. I am VERY interested in snail mucin...thanks for the recommendation!
Renata Yay! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! I’m out And still waiting for my sale order to arrive any day now. I can’t wait! The CoQ10 Serum has a long shelf life...2years I believe, and I have not seen anything that says it needs to be refrigerated. However, I usually (not always) tend to keep it in the fridge, mostly because I like the feeling of applying the cool serum to my face.
Love your videos! If I was interested in starting with serums, which one or maybe two would you recommend? I have dry, very mature skin. I always wear sunscreen. ❤️
Hi Carol! Hmmm...also depends on what you are already getting in your moisturizer (hopefully one with niacinamide?) the very first serum my aesthetic nurse put me on years ago was L Ascirbic acid, and I LOVE the Timeless. but like I said, it can be irritating for some people and is not very hydrating. If you have sensitive skin I would go with either the Coenzyme Q10 or the Maysama. Both very gentle and hydrating with anti oxidants AND other wonderful actives such as peptides, nuacinamide etc. so much of skin care is about researching and gathering info..but then it’s trial and error to see what works for you. I hope this helps! Thank you for being here. Keep me posted ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Carolyn! The Perricone C is pretty new to me...but I managed to fit it in after my Curolog RetinA formula. I apply the RetinA after cleansing, then Perricone C, then Maysama, then CoQ10, then moisturizer. A little extra...I know....so many serums, only one face LOL...❤️
That you for the interesting video. I bought the Maysama serum and noticed that it makes my skin orange. I haven't seen anyone promoting Masayma mentioning this. What do you do to combat this negative characteristic of the product? Thanks Tamara!
The tint seems to disappear into my skin. However I do use it primarily in the evening when I use my LED mask and after my LED mask I apply my serums and night creams so perhaps that takes any tint down as well.
Hi Tamara-I will be receiving a shipment of the Timeless Coenzyme Q10 Serum & the Timeless 20% Vitamin C & E Ferulic Acid Serum. I do not have particularly sensitive skin. I could not resist the temptation to purchase 2 serums. I will definitely take your experienced advise on which serum to begin with first as part of my new skin care routine for both AM & PM. If this is helpful, I am in my late 60’s with dry, light good skin. Hopefully your response will be helpful to all your loyal viewers. Thanks, Carol
Carol Lazar Hi Carol, that’s exciting! I do so love both of these serums. The C has the most potential for irritation...some people have no problem, others can’t use it. So I would start slow like once or twice a week with that one and build up. The CoQ10 is so very gentle, I have not heard of anyone having issues with that one. But by the same token everyone is unique. to be on the safe side and to be able to clearly asses your response you might start with the C for a couple of weeks before going in with the Q. You could try the Q on days you are not using the C, and/or start it in the evening and slowly build up to both in the morning. Having said this...I am not a derm or an aesthetician so you will have to do what feels right for you and carefully evaluate your skin’s response. Keep me posted!!
Angie’s routine messed up my good skin badly. I thought it was the Timeless C. But no, it was throwing on too many acids, too quickly, one after another, like she does. I found I can use the Timeless C without irritation, but def not daily like Angie cuz it would be too irritating for me. Are there acids, that shouldn’t be used with Vit C - or together? Btw, your makeup looks lovely today - just sayin’ . . .
We've probably all made that mistake...getting over excited about new products and going in too fast with too many actives...yikes what a mess that can create. That's why I always stress to try one product at a time. And start slow..once a week...then increase gradually as tolerated. As far as what acids go with L Ascorbic Acids...it's SO individual. (I assume you are talking about AHA/BHAs?) I am able to apply Pixie Glow Tonic (5% glycolic) in the morning before L ascorbic acid, but many people would find that irritating. I have been using Lactic Acid 5% lately instead of Pixie, because Lactic is milder than glycolic and more hydrating. It can be tricky to fit AHAs in...they can be irritating when combined with Retinoids at night, and also when combined with L Ascorbic Acid during the day. If you are not using Vitamin C every day, maybe try Lactic Acid on the off days? Or if no retinol at night you can use it at night. (start once a week and build up slowly and go with a low dose...no more than 5% to start) I hope this helps! And thank you for the lovely compliment on my makeup ❤️
Swineinney, Funny, that totally happened to me too. My skin erupted in blisters, redness, rashes. But I did learn that everyone’s skin is different, I just didn’t realize HOW different 😬!! Mine apparently, is very very sensitive, very dry as well and much MUCH less is more for me. I’m so careful about listening to reviewers skin types now.
Love this video! I’m interested in trying the Timeless Vitamin C. It’s so bad it makes me hate using it! Have you had any similar issues with the Timeless one? If it smells fine and doesn’t oxidize too quickly then I’m sold 😂
Hannah Miller thank you Hannah, I’m so glad you enjoyed my video! The Timeless Vit C has the faintest, clean scent. Almost imperceptible. I usually purchase the 4 ounce refill in the blue bottle, share some with my daughter, then decant some into a one ounce dropper bottle. I keep the larger bottle in the freezer and the one ounce that I am using in the fridge. I have had no problem with oxidation using this method. They recently came out with an airtight, pump 1 ounce size. I did buy that once and that was fine too. Although I did notice a slightly stronger clean scent...not sure if that was from the packaging, or the batch. I always order directly from Timeless because then I know I’m getting a fresh batch. Hope this helps!
