I feel for you guys, I will say I am relieved I am very thankful my downpipes install, last week went way smoother than yours did. I installed ark downpipes to mbrp pro series. Sounds pretty slick I must say. Glad you got yours handled.
Nice thats awesome! I'm glad not everyone has to deal with what we went through. For me this was a good learning experience and luckily I was able to fix everything and get the pipes installed and it sounds so much better as everyone will see in the next video.
@Fix_it_Garage boy yeah it does! the secondary cat delete and some mbrp or borla exhaust. Really does make a big difference. I was honestly a little concerned it might have that reverberating sound in the cab. I was relieved it doesn't with my mbrp pro series.
Cool video and thanks for sharing. I cannot for the life of me get the passenger side o2 sensor connector removed from the bracket. It looks like you removed the bracket with the o2 sensor/downpipe. Am I seeing this right?
@@Fix_it_Garage Thanks bro!! I got em off without breaking a stud. Mostly thanks to you! I soaked em for 3 days with kroil before removing the nuts and the slid off like butter. You da man! Sorry you had to go through that but you knocked that engine removal out in no time
Well I was able to pull the motor, fix the stud, install the down pipes and get it running all in one day. Lol luckily kia knew the motor has to come out to do anything to this car so they made it easy. The alternator is an engine out service for this car lol

@@KbF1231 I wish we went that route instead of doing the primary dowpipes. These cars sound surprisingly good with an exhaust on them.
CARS ARE PAIN❤ 😂 Thanks for sharing the journey.
Your welcome. Your absolutely right cars are a huge pain!
That extension setup @3:12 says it all
Haha yeah. Im just glad it worked!

Yeah I rewatched it and that's what we did because I also couldn't get it off the bracket haha

Looked like we had a lot of fun! 🤪
I mean we definitely did have fun. Even if it was a pain haha
Dang that is a huge PITA. Sorry it came to that and hopefully a somewhat straightforward job to pull the engine.

@@Fix_it_Garage oh nice! Glad it wasn’t bad though yeah kinda sucks it needs a removal just to get at the alternator lol
What's the average amount of time to do this downpipe install? Does anyone know? Thanks. 🙂
