Correct answer with explanation will be shared in comments after two days. Q. 5 given below is only for students preparing for JEE Advanced. If any student is solving Q5, he/she is requested to share the solution in comment box so that it can be checked if you solved it correctly or not.
    (1) An elevator is accelerating down at 2m/s² in which a simple pendulum is suspended on one of its vertical wall with string length 2m. The string is pulled aside and bob is held horizontally with string tight. Find minimum downward speed with which bob is to be thrown so that bob completes the vertical circle.
    [6.93m/s]
    (2) An elevator is accelerating up at 5m/s² in which a simple pendulum is suspended on one of its vertical wall with string length 5m. The string is pulled up so and bob is held with string vertical and tight. Find minimum horizontal speed with which bob is to be thrown so that bob completes the vertical circle.
    [11.18m/s]
    (3) An elevator is accelerating down at 13m/s² in which a simple pendulum is suspended on one of its vertical wall with string length 6m. From equilibrium position of bob it is thrown perpendicular to initial string length. Find minimum projection speed of bob so that bob completes the vertical circle.
    [9.49m/s]
    (4) Inside a box car accelerating on a horizontal road with acceleration 5m/s² a simple pendulum is suspended on one of its vertical wall with string length 4m. From equilibrium position of bob it is thrown perpendicular to initial string length. Find minimum projection speed of bob so that bob completes the vertical circle.

    (5) In previous question if bob is held vertically with string tight, find minimum tangential projection speed of bob required for bob to complete its vertical circular motion.

    Sir,in your physics advance paper discussion,
    You've said that start learning vedic maths things and practice it for faster calculations,but sir I as a normal preparing student didn't know about people also do learn these things,so sir my humble request to you to take a session and please suggest everything that we students need to excellence paper in every way!

    sir my answers are - Q.1- 6.93. Q.2- 19.36. Q.3- 9.49. Q.4- 14.96. Q.5 - 13.4. in question 5 first calculate the angle and g effective and then apply energy conservation

    Good evening sir,
    In Q5 provided in d.box,,,first we will calculate the angle of string with vertical at equilibrium postion....
    We also know than here velocity must be root of (5.geff.L).
    Now to find speed at lowest position (i.e. when string is vertical)
    We will apply work energy theorem btw these two postion by cosidering work of psedo force and gravitational force,to find v at lower most position

    Answers of given questions is
    #1 - 6.93
    #2 - 8.66
    #3 - 9.49
    #4 - 15 (approximately)
    Last quest answer in exercise is 7.36
    Use geff=√g^2+a^2 and find tan alpha and use energy conservation in between those two points wrt ur frame of reference inclined at an angle alpha.....plz correct me if I am wrong

    I found ans of Q.2 ) 8.66
    Q.4) 14.95
    Q.1 ,3 matched with the given answers
    About q.5) I got ans as 14.63
    My Solution: first I found the point above the horizontal level where the net force of 5m/s^2 and 10m/s^2(gravity) pointed towards the centre (fixed point) there tension =0 further that point the object will complete circle on its own due to tension + horizontal acc..so upto there I applied work energy theorem assuming initial velocity as V1 and final as V2 so I got one equation.
    Then m(v2)^2 = net force so i got equation 2 and thus i solved these and i got v1 = 14.63
    Pls correct me if i made a mistake

      2nd equation was m(v2)^2/ L = net force... in above comment it was a typing mistake

    Sir, im a 2 year partial dropper i studied B.Sc (18-19), plz tell me which TC will be used for nit admission, 12th TC or B.Sc TC? plzzz help...! would they not ask for 12th tc? i have 12th migration and markssheet and the bsc college refused to give 12th tc back, it said we will give u bsc part 1 TC instead. Is it ok for admission?

      Frutzee they cannot keep your 12th tc. It is illegal , you will get it back
