This is one show that should be given a proper and careful reboot.
They should also make it into a film
That theme is still stuck in my head till this day. Even if 80s cartoons were made to sell more toys it was still awesome.

This classic is still one of my all time favorite cartoons, right up there with Silver Hawks & C.O.P.S! Those 3 would make excellent movies today, if done right. . .🤩👏🏾😉💯

Holy Holograms, Batman! I forgot this show even existed, so thanks for reminding me about it! The whole concept was based on the gimmick that they could make a holographic image on the chest of an action figure, lol
I totally love this show. I love the way the villains served as foils against the heroes and vice versa. Darkstorm's staff causes decay and ageing. While the counter for that is youth and vitality, Leoric's power is wisdom, which is typically derived from living a long life. So Decay and Wisdom are two sides of the same coin. But while decay is the dark sidenof ageing, Leoric's is the bright side.
Arzon's Staff of Knowledge is the counter for Cravex's Fear (we fear the unknown, and once known, fear can be managed or even defeated). Cindarr's unfocused chaos is countered by the singular focus of Crytoke's Mighty Bow. Witterquick's unstoppable speed force is met by Lexxor's unmovable shield. I love it!

I liked IMMEDIATELY. This hits me in the childhood.
I remember we had the toys in the playground. You could rub the front to make the hologram glow.
1 season… this ran for 1 season and that’s a travesty!
This show was the absolute nuts! I had the first on 2 episodes VHS (look it up on Google young people!) and watched the shit out of it!

I enjoyed the cartoons and the toys as kid.
I really enjoyed the show, though it came on at a bad time in the local market (7am, Saturdays, just a time a kid wants to wake up). The show was pretty well done, and the toys were well-articulated. I think they just didn't have enough "it" factor to push them ahead of the other big Hasbro products, like GI Joe and Transformers. I also got two of the six comics from the bargain bins at one of the local stores recently.
Yeah got buried in that early time slot like allot of other forgotten cartoons back then. They had cool toys though.

@@Des_Zee Yeah, they did a similar thing with "Captain Power" too. I know many markets aired it extremely early in the morning on the weekends. In mine, they aired Saturday afternoons, which meant it was usually preempted by a sportsball broadcast.
The figures were very articulate. I think the biggest mistake they made with the toys is not selling the figures with their Totem animals.

Great video, love your content! Remember watching Visionaries after school, even had the toy for Witterquick (sp?). I think they also had a comic for a brief time.
Would love for them to do a remake or reboot using the animation and effects that are available now.

Just finished rewatching the series after 18 years
Was one of my favorite cartoons back in the 80s. Don't think I remembered seeing the full series to the end. I believe I saw a DVD series out so will start looking for it.
Hopefully we get a proper film adaptation from the comics.
The thing i like about this cartoon is the incantation to activate their powers.

My mother worked at Hasbro before this show was on and I had visionary toys before anybody else.
Such an under rated franchise. One of the better quality toy lines and cartoons of the 80s.

The Hebrew version was quite awesome. Especially the theme song.
Some of the names in the narration don't match up with who is on screen, but fun video. It takes me back! I had seven of the figures, but everywhere I went to get the eighth figure, Leoric was sold out. I never got any of the vehicles, but I don't remember seeing them either.

Another one I like was SWAT cats the music was sick. Good comedy good dog fight jet fighting scenes.

That is the only animated show with impressive dialogue translation to my country's language. Come to think of it, that cartoon show mast have been made by people of deep connections. Referring to literature.

I family love and enjoy the tv show and hope for it to continue on day soon and we would say the magic word spell to help the kids sleep after being scared or from nightmares

You have got some of the names wrong not all of them got power staffs. Only 4 of each side got Power Staffs good video though this was a Amazing cartoons in the 1980 XMEN Thundercats transformers He Man Visionaries.
