yes due i have a ryzen 7 5700g with vulkan i have 60fps stable in low, all people that use vulkan uses a nvidia gpu instead AMD, like in DOTA 2 without recording in medium i have 160 fps and in tf 100fps, in ultra i have 90 fps and 50 in tf its crazy bro
i got a 4070ti and 12700k and i got like 200fps ingame. Dont know what im doing wrong. Even had a friend (who is working with PCs) check out my whole Pc and mein fps is still this low.
@official_MKY i don't know if you got it fixed. but disable nvidia reflex low latency. it is supposed to boost fps and reduce input delay, but for me it only produces more delay and cuts like 100 fps

Reminder to everyone: Comparing DX11 and Vulkan is a non sense. You need to compare the same modern API which is DX12 and Vulkan. DX11 is better supported for a lot of reasons like years of improvement, which lead to a biased test in favor of DX when you try to compare it to vulkan. Also keep in mind that DX12 / Vulkan are made to be supporting more than 4K resolution. When it comes to HD, the performances can be lower.

The explanation is since CS2 is CpU Demanding - Vulkan focus more in GPU while Dx11 does not. Vulkan just protecting your CPU

7800x3d and 4070 ti here, get like 400-700 fps.. cs2 still are cpu heavy..
ryzen 5 3500u and vega 8 igpu and i get like 30fps :/ old csgo used to look and run better for me
It can be just fps limiter. Check the game's settings "Maximum fps in game" in Video => Advanced video, and disable Vsync. It should remove fps cap

Hello guys, i can't launch cs 2 with default settings (dx11) only with -vulkan, as a result have bad fps. How can i fix this problem?
I had the same issue and I know this is very late but for anyone else you have to disable radeon anti lag and it should boot up

Nothing, directx11 is the default setting
-vulkan is trash implemented in game, the game needs to pre-cache the whole shaders, for the map.... so it has tons of lags

DX11 work better for nvidia, but Vulkan in the other hand will work better if you have AMD as your GPU.

can you run dx12 on cs2? i thought it was only dx11 and vulkan
Steam launch options should be -valkan
you've got a typo there, it should be '-vulkan'

Right click the game in steam > properties > general > launch options > add "-vulkan" to the options
