Hey Daniel. Great video man. I have a question. I can pick up a canon pixma GM2050 for about $163. Can i throw in any other stencil ink? Hello! i bought this exact same printer but not from tat2skin, i followed the procedures, inserted in the inkjet ink tank, but i print BLACK. because the internal cartridge releases black, how can i do?
I remember when I first got the printer I had to print a bit until the black ink stopped coming out and I only got the purple ink. If you print more pages the ink should start coming our purple. Try using regular paper as well so you don’t waste your stencil paper.
why do you have to put the black ink cartridge in, if you are printing out of the tank with inkfuel ? I also heard if the printer sits idle for too long the inkjets get clogged with dried stencil liquid, any experience with that ? THX
I think that’s how the operation of the printer is designed. I think the printer needs the black cartridge to register the printer as ready to print. When I didn’t put the black cartridge in I never got any prints. So I assume it has to do with the functionality of the printer. I have not experienced clogged inkjets but if I do I will bring a video sharing with you all how I go about unclogging them. But as of now I have not experienced this.

Hello Daniel. I have purchased this product (2050 instead of the 2040 and electrum eco ink) and it prints the stencils very nicely, but it is like the stencils are very dry, and i have not had succes in transfering the stencils to skin or anything. Do you have an idea to why this might be?
Just bought the same set up as you osama and I’m having the same issue. Did you ever figure it out? Plz let me know if you found a solution
@@jordanstevens3492 have you tried using fresh printouts direct from the printer? Also do you have the image in a dark enough or saturated enough state? I’m curious because I’ve just got one and am trying to figure it out too, I’ve success with fresh dark printouts, using really a lot of stencil stuff
@@jamesderwin Iv gotten a couple really bold lined lettering stencils to stick decent still no where near the quality of good old thermal paper. I think we all just took a L trying something new that isn’t quite ready for the market yet to be honest. I’m just gonna buy a normal old thermal copier I think
Í was reading the comments and he replied saying he had trouble printing in the beginning. But to keep printing until the purple ink shows up more. I don't know if it's true. But you're not the only one having the same problem. I'm having doubts in purchasing one.
You need to print so long that come purple picture out. At me was like 100 papers before come purple out from the printer.
Are you still using this printer?
Yes! I still use this printer. I plan on making some new update videos to clear up some discrepancies.
If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to drop a comment

You price
Couldn’t you just buy a tank printer and use that
we are definitely living in the future. Makes all other methods obsolete...and nonsensical.
I personally love thermal printers and I love inkjet printers and for their own reasons.
Do you have a preference for printer types you use ?
is that regular black ink in that cart or something like stencil ink cause i’m buying one by itself and just get the ink it’s cheaper cause this pack isn’t available
