    Hi, you busy lady 😊. Watched this one before, but thought I'd watch it again whilst I ate my lunch - still supporting your channel! I even paused you, made myself a cuppa tea so I could have one with you 😂. I've lied to you, I told you we had only been up Kinder once 😮 we've actually been up there twice maybe three times. We went up the Nab/Ringing Roger along the edge and came down Crowden Brook and we went up from Bowden Bridge, William Clough along to the downfall and dropped down just beyond Red Brook through where Dog Stone is. This is my next mission to find that stone! XX

      The kinder live is strong Sadie! This boulder isn’t easy to find. It’s better on a nice day. Maybe that could be our walk and talk lol 😂 plenty of time to catch up whilst I drag you to the rock for a little sit down to admire the wild gruffs and bog lands. I’d still need to navigate using my phone to find it again. Kinder looks different every time I visit! ATB, Sarah

      Omg 😮 what an offer! I would love that! When you said meet for a walk, talk and cuppa I didn't think we would have the privilege of being in your company for that long 😊. I watched this video the other day and since you suggested taking us there it's been my mission to try to locate it as you said. So my free minutes I'm sat with Google maps and my os map, it's driving me bonkers if I lived nearer I'd say come on we are off to see if I've located it, but I can't 😂. My first mission was to find dog stone, I feel confident about that one as for this rock I thought it would be a while before I considered trying to look for it due to how the weather can change quickly and my lack of Kinder experience. Before children we were up on Bleaklow and the clagg came down good job we had a compass 😅 bog after bog after bog. I think back and can't believe it, we were even less prepared and less knowledgeable than we are now - that's youth for ya 😂. XX

      @PaulandSadie 6 місяців тому

      Okay I'm 99% sure I've located it on Google maps 🤔 I will see if I can send you a screen shot later and you can confirm or tell me, NO your wrong 🤣. X

      Hey 👋🏻 thank you for the lovely comment Louise. I’ve climbed and walked Kinder many times now and understand it’s unforgiving nature and wholeheartedly respect it. I’ve seen mountain rescue looking for people in trouble and I always endeavour not to be included in their numbers. I do think that I have a responsibility to take my individual safety seriously when I’m out on solo hikes when I publish it on social media. I love to show that It’s possible to have fun and stay safe 😊 check out my other 18 mile hike around Kinder scout to see it in beautiful weather! ATB, Sarah

    Just revisited this Sarah.. for obvious reasons. We've now finally discovered this special stone after being determined to not ask anyone where exactly it is.. wanting to find it through our own determination and love for exploring and finally finding. You have captured that feeling beautifully here and you were'nt joking about that clag! 😊 It's like joining a special little Kinder loving club. I love these mysteries buried in history that are all over the Peaks. Who knows what is buried under the peat, or how many things we walk past everyday and just don't realise their significance? Did they even know what the Azteks were whenever someone carved it?
    I saw the plaque on Carl Wark that said maximum penalty £100 for damage to the scheduled monument, then saw a date carved into the rocks which my mate said was 1771. Looking a bit closer, we agreed it was 1991, but at what point does vandalism become heritage?

Todays lunchtime watch, think this may be the third time now 🤣🤣🤣 I absolutely have to be your number 1 fan (I wonder if you have any analytical proof?) Looking forward to pitching Darcy this weekend she also has some new jewellery. Some colourful magnets along with some extra long pegs that to be on the safe side will be needing a slight modification 😉. My fascination with Kinder has to be the challenge my new fear is that based on our last experience we will get up there and lose the most expensive thing we take up. 🤣🤣🤣 The children have since said the're surprised we haven't lost them up there yet and 🙈 I think they are genuinely worried as they are never keen going up, but they do incredibly well, once up there all you get is can we go down now 🙄 and on the way down they don't stop talking and tell us how much they've enjoyed their day 🤣🤣🤣 it's so funny.
