- The Helldivers 2 community has found more troubling Helldivers 2 news. This time in regards to how the PSN will be integrated in the game via Warbonds and how guns in Helldivers might be getting nerfed to sell Warbonds!

That’s not the real reason I mean that may be part of it but that’s not the main point, the main point is they want 10,000 plus new accounts made so they can show it to investors so they can get more money

Well if they do make the PSN network a requirement I will refund the game as they will be in effect locking me out of the game due to no fault of my own.
If you’re in a non PSN country you should be ok but idk about the rest of us. Maybe it’ll only be to use certain items
@@CerealOverdrive I don't think it will matter. We have been playing the game and then suddenly the conditions have been changed or we have been locked out. If they make it optional maybe. I think the terms of service in the warbond was just a remnant of the idiotic choice by Sony and the Devs hadn't thought to remove it. I don't think it means anything. The game completely tanked when Sony made the announcement. Pc players don't want a PSN account as they have been hacked numerous times which if the requirement was locked in up front would most likely have meant a refund before any hours of gameplay or no purchase at all. I know for sure because of Sony underhand tactic here I will certainly be checking if Sony is the publisher in the future and will not be entertaining any Sony published software.
The thing with PC is arrowhead don't need Sony I don't know why they insist on keeping Sony. Maybe Sony purchased an exclusive deal. Arrowhead could always just release on steam without Sony. That is what the platform is there for it's for anyone to release a game including indi devs.
Sony really has burnt the bridge of trust with the pc gaming community and I do believe the largest number of sales for hd2 was on pc.
Helldivers is the least greedy game ever, just look at all the other games.

And for warbounds, you can unlock them without spending a single dollar, thats what i did
Not just warbonds. If they mandate PSN, they can mandate PS+ subscriptions for online play. Ready to cough up $80 minimum per year to use your internet connection you already pay for? After that, are you ready to pay Rockstar, Ubisoft, EA, etc.. a sub fee to use their mandated launchers? I guess it's time to find a new hobby.
I can’t see that happening but I also didn’t think horse armor DLC would ever catch on….. I’m a bit stupid when it comes to this stuff so best we remain vigilant and push back against changes in this direction
