I don’t think he meant harm, but bro doesn’t have common sense, Bringing a gun into a school, i’d say he was rightfully charged, I think he would be alarmed if a student came up to him and told him the things he told the officers, He litrally can’t argue that it’s legal to bring a gun. Completely unnaceptable.

I was once a suspected school shooter. I went to the same High School for all 4 years, but being the introvert I am I'd hide away from people during lunch break. My senior year I got forced out into the open and was stopped by the principal accompanied by security. They had me empty out my bags and checked my school ID...they said they've never seen me before so they were suspicious I was up to something 😒

    • @MihaelLawliet01
      @MihaelLawliet01 6 місяців тому +501

I feel that. I was heavily bullied in Jr High and High School and a bomb threat showed up in the girls bathroom. The first person they suspected was me, I guess, even tho I almost never used the bathrooms at the school and didn't even own any markers. The note was apparently written in pink and orange marker. I only owned highlighters which were required by the school. I'm left handed so I despised markers because they'd stain my palm and smear my art so I didn't even own any. They questioned me illegally, as a minor without parents present and without their permission. Then the next year, I asked if they'd made any progress on that and I was told the highlighters didn't match, but all signs still pointed to me which absolutely irked me. I didn't fucking do it and they never caught who did. It still annoys me to this day.

Wow...that doesn't make a lot of sense, does it? We are in the United States of America...key word being "united". Sometimes, like at my school, a 10 day suspension is the maximum allowed punishment for a student. You don't just bring a gun into school because you feel scared a shooting is going to happen, and you certainly don't bring the bullets with you inside even if that was the case, what was he scared of? Who did he think was the school shooter? Surely if you wanted to protect your school from an active shooter you would bring the gun into school, not in your car? im a junior, when i was in 5th grade we have 5 different things happen in the area involving a gun at school all in the same week,
the timeline may be off bc my memory may not be the best
but these incidents included the santa fe shooting about 10 miles away from our junior high school
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Santa_Fe_High_School_shooting
another school a student brought a gun with the intention of k!lling himself with it
another was at my school when a student was found with a gun in his backpack, and i think later the gun was stolen and found in posession of another high schooler
then another i think was a stabbing
and then i cant remember the other. but these incidents scared me and i didnt want to go to school anymore at one point.
we need to prepare and have an escape route in case of these happening at our school, some students dont care about the drills and even think they are pointless, but they really save lives imo

Not to mention i don't see why should he be charged his car is his own property yeah yeah ik its on school perp. Even the threats 2 years ago, the fake ones… Half my school was freaking out, even though the school assured us “These are threats online, we can likely ensure these are fake, but we ARE entering lockdown as a safety procedure.” Schools take that seriously… plus, if you have it in your car and the car is at school, you TECHNICALLY do have it at school. Which leads that the cops have way more permissions to be "aggresive" than in other countries, which makes sense in the usa, but this also leads to more and harder abuse of the power they have, even its out of fear being shot or just because they are idiots. @@summerset9984 it wasnt nothing. he brought a gun to school. should've done his research more thoroughly or asked the school directly. claiming ignorance to a law isnt a valid defense and just makes other legal gun owners look bad. just my opinion as a ccw holder

@@summerset9984calling bringing a gun to school property “nothing” is the most American thing I’ve heard today. In any other country there would’ve been an absolute outrage in the community if this was exposed. In America, they instead defend the perpetrator because “muh second amendment”

know what's cooler than having a gun? graduating on time. know what's not cool? being an 18 year old junior in high school.

being an 18 year old junior isnt that unheard of, sometimes peoples birthdays dont quite line up right or they just stayed back a year. its not that uncommon. certainly not something to be making fun of somebody for. he 'is' a special needs student afterall

When I was in middle school, there was this one kid that always misbehaved and always got in trouble. He very clearly had some anger-management problems and possibly some mental issues and would always get into fights with teachers, leading to him consistently being sent down to the principal’s office. Every time I had interactions with this kid I would always get such an uneasy and disturbed feeling. One day, that kid didn’t come to school and we ended up getting a note at the end of the day stating that there was a shooting threat made on the school and the police got involved. That kid was never seen again. It would later be revealed by one of my teachers that it was him that made shooting threat. The fact that I interacted with a possible school shooter still deeply disturbs me.

That…sounds exactly like one of the kids in mine. Hot-headed, disobeys teachers, constantly threatning to fight, I’m worried one day he might just snap.

There was a CHILD here in third grade who found a partial box of bullets in the ditch around his bus stop. He thought they were cool so he took a couple to show his friends. This poor kid got kicked out of school 😢
