Nice job. I replaced the roof skin and complete floor pan on my 85 Mustang. First time doing it and it came out great. Just took my time.

Thanks Ray! Up until a few months ago I never would have had the courage to tackle a project like this. So glad I decided to give it a shot tho I have learned so much by starting with these projects that were so far apart.

You know how many of these we threw away back in the day! What you build we would not have gave it a second thought. That's just my point. I wish we had thought about them before we threw them away and kept them. I drove novus and some of the guys asked me when I was going to get a real car. After my screaming yellow Nova left them in the dust, I'm simply asking one question ⁉️❓. Oh you must mean a real car like yours? Yeah I know I started my comment out on way but it's amazing how much love these cars get nowadays. I just didn't know I was a trendsetter so many years ago. I'm glad you really enjoy building these cars. We definitely save them from becoming kias and toasters.

Looks like you did a really nice job. Man that metal and body work takes so much patience and time. I don't enjoy any of it but try to do some to save a lot.

Thanks it’s 100% a labor of love haha. There’s times I enjoy the body work and other times I absolutely hate it.

Thanks! Feel free to give me some tips and tricks/pointers if you spot anything I could have done different. I’ve seen your videos and you have wayyy more experience with body work then I do.

@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 as long as the welds are strong and it's protected against rusting it should be fine.

GOOD JOB. For those who wish to restore classic cars. There is one thing to know : to be definitively efficient against rust, you should put grease everywhere. grease is the only thing very efficient against rust. put grease between metal and carpet, inside door, behind metallic bumper, under the vehicle, behind the repairs you can make (everywhere inside the body - hidden erea - instead of using paint), hollow areas (necessarily hidden, so no need to be aesthetic). For rear wings unreachable with a paintbrush, use an extender and poor old oil everywhere each year. rust always comes from the inside and welds. Handyman Experience - 35 years. From france
