    Suggestion is a little unusual in that there are three backgrounds with native access to it. Psionics also have access to both Lift and Pull so they have many movement power options, and Investigators have Bait & Switch so they have multiple options for messing with loot haulers. For Mystics Suggestion is their only native power of this type and they generally want to avoid armor anyway due to their other powers, so they probably get the most benefit from Suggestion. You also need to consider Transport when comparing movement powers, which lacks the armor issues most have and is therefore easier to take for many backgrounds.
    Of the movement powers, Suggestion and Pull (and Fling, which is limited by range and more of a defensive trick) are the only ones that target a model without restriction, and can be used on uncontrolled figures. Pull moves the target farther but only does horizontal movement, while Suggestion is only 3" but can include a vertical element - which is most relevant on Expert Climber or Flight/Hover capable figs. Being able to shift around NPCs can be enormously powerful sometimes, and adds a lot of appeal to both powers when compared to Lift or Transport, which can only target friendly crew members.
    So yeah, 3 stars seems about right for most officers, with Mystic probably seeing it as 4 stars. Fatewinders might find it more attractive too despite it not being native to their list - they sometimes want to avoid armor and it's a tossup whether Pull or Lift is better than Suggestion for them. It's good that each power has benefits and drawbacks that make them so balanced against one another.

      Nice analysis Rich! Some of the Powers definitely change in their worth based on whether they're Core Powers and based on what other options a Background has for Core, and if they are already going without Armour then another Armour Interference Power isn't an issue. It is nice that while a lot of Powers can be compared with each other, they all have little differences that are significant enough to make the Powers unique and usually fit into some kind of build.

      @@bricksblocksgaming8017 That's compounded by the odd scenario-specific incidence that gives certain powers bonus utility. It doesn't change things much, but Suggestion (which is essentially the jedi mind trick power) is real good at getting the baddies to open the bunker door in that first Hope Eternal scenario. :)

    I really have troubles seeing this one working well. It feels really dangerous to use. But maybe I'm also just too nice an opponent? ;p

    Thanks for the commentary. I see this power as more of a backup for certain situations and not one to build a strategy around. Would not put a great amount of experience into it.
