You always have interesting themed builds!!!! Very interesting!!!! Did you day the spell caster can control 1 of each type???? Sounds POWERFUL if thats the right interpretation!!!!! I'm a hoard player by nature:)!
Thanks man! You can control one of each type - so you can control one Construct, one Undead, one Demon, and one Animal, but not two Contstructs, etc.
I started to run my games like semi-rpg. Every game is a scenario with multiple endings that permanently alter the game. This all started with the golem hunt.
Nice builts but I can see how they could easily wreck most of my scenarios, streamlining them into one outcome.
Adding extra RPG elements is a great way to keep the game fresh and the story engaging.👍
Almost exact summoner build I'm playing right now with my son in home campaign. But instead of summon demon I took Posses - just to Mind Control and then Posses opposing soldier. Today it was his Scrounger - he delivered treasure chest to my warband, killing his thief in process with Fight +5.
And Summon Demon grimoire I bought after first game anyway.

If a caster is killed, does that cancel the control spell? That could make this more difficult, losing two instead of one is rough.
But the feel of this build would be fun for sure
Nope, spells stay active if the Caster leaves unless it specifically states otherwise. Explosive Rune is the only spell off the top of my head that (potentially) cancels once the Caster is dead or flees.
Nice ideas man and dont seem to OP. I'm grateful my group doesn't try to meta game in frostgrave as you xan truly run away with campaigns once you understand the rule set.

There’s some good ways to meta the game, but I think it thrives when people don’t and when they don’t try to min/max. Even though some of my builds do focus on power-gaming, there’s still so much luck and chance involved that players are generally better off just going with fun or interesting builds.
I need to watch through The Office again. And I am on the complete opposite side of the country from Scranton.😄

Im new to the game and interested in knowing what you would recommend as an alternative? I have heard that a classic elementalist is a good starting option.
