I find that hard to believe, US army is nowhere NEAR that capable. All those shitpickers can do is bomb civilian objects and kill children. Oh, and complain about lack of portapotties and toilet paper.
You can join the U.S. Army at 17 and serve your first deployment in as little as 3 years and be done. So Ajay definitely could have been in the army at 24.
The biggest flaw in Far Cry 4 is motivation: Ajay has no reason to join and fight for the Golden Path. Incredibly immersion breaking when every time Ajay agrees to do something, you ask "why?"
True, but his mother brought him in a war-locked land, sabal asked him for help, he would get shot for trying to leave he country. I guess he’s doing it out of spite? Or because his mother wanted him to come to come to Kyrat and sort everything out? I don’t know. What’s your theory?

I feel that's a problem with lots of AAA video game protagonists, they are deliberately designed to be blank slates with no defined personality so that the player can project themselves onto them, and while it can work for games with an easily understandable and simplistic goal, most games just end up being uncompelling because their protagonists are so forgettable and come off as bland idiots next to the more fleshed out supporting cast. Games could theoretically let you play as literally anyone or anything the developers can come up with, I'm tired of being tossed a blank slate and being told to just imagine something myself.
Yeah that got me thinking of how cool to play a far cry game where you are a clear villain like Vaas or Min instead of blank slates, like almost a role reversal.
Its fine if the protag is a blank slate, but then you need to give me a lot of options to fill in the blanks. As Ajay, I wanted to say: fuck the Golden Path, I'll use my skills and help Kyrat in my own way. You could have reasoned with Pagan. You could have gotten Noore to help you raise a rebellion of your own. You could have used your connections to help you instead of the Golden Path to really clean house in Kyrat. I could have usurped the Golden Path. Why would I serve the horrible idiots that are Sabal and Amita?
But still, these games are one of the best games that gave me immersion. Like I felt like the choice of who should rule Kyrat was important to me as if it would affect the real world.

Pagan is like one of my distant relatives . They’re all like “ The last time I saw you, you were this tall (moves hand to a certain elevation) dont you remember me!? “ then they expect you to know who you are
Loved the video, and I didn't even realize some of the plot holes that you made so very apparent. Two things though. Pagan Min mentioned to Ajay that he took a trip to The States to see Ishwari. He never actually met up with her, but it's probably safe to assume that he watched her and Ajay from afar, hence the way he treated him at the start of the game. In his mind, he felt like he already knew him, as he _soooort_ of is his step-son of sorts. Amita saying "He's up" is likely just a humorous way of saying "Hey, you're finally awake!" in third person. Those are the only two sins I really feel are unjustified. Everything else is very much correct, and I too am saddened by what could have been with the characters, tension, and story in this game. I still greatly love Far Cry 4 despite all of its flaws, though. :)
I’ve read that Ajay was supposed to have been a green beret, having served in Afghanistan and Iraq. That would explain why he’s totally fine with blood on his hands.
Pagan is very funny, he explains how he got mad very well (depending on your choices in the very beginnign or ending of the game) And he's very good because he's not over the top like all the others trying to re creat Vaas's insanity.
Pagan Min and his governors are low key the heroes. I like playing as a double agent for them and after I free outposts for the golden path I let the predators loose once the GP guys arrive and ignore calls for help when the camps are being attacked.
12:10 it should be noted amita is deliberately misleading you. Bhadra (the teenage girl you meet) is meant to 'marry' the god; i.e. become a priestess. So it's not that Sabal would be marrying a 'little girl', it's that he'd make Bhadra become a priestess and lead a celibate life. Oh, and Sabal is way more interesting if you side with him. He also is the only one that makes any sense to side with, because he represents the golden path; Amita wants to do away with Kyrat's culture & past, which is sole reason the golden path exists (because they're meant to be stopping it. Tl;dr: Amita just wants to replace pagan min with herself. 14:05 oh, and Willis has no reason to save Ajay here either; he's a combatant for the Golden Path, effectively a terrorist, and the US has no beef with pagan min anymore (as willis just said). Meaning the whole "US citizen" thing doesn't hold much weight anymore.
I completely agree with 5:04 I was thinking the whole time who is this guy and why is he so OK with killing right off the bat? And I couldn’t stop thinking about the secret ending because He had no reason to get up and leave. He didn’t seem scared of pagan. Because he could tell he recognized him. Just thinking the whole time how was he OK with killing so quick does he have combat experience and as far as I could tell, Ajay wasn’t scared of pagan so he had no reason to leave. Having a hard time getting into the game because the story is kinda, ehh so far.
10:30 "Make Kyrat a tax shelter or start a bitcoin mining operation." Good idea when there is basically no infrastructure and bitcoin prize is fluctuating when it's 2014.
"Ajay, in order to achieve the American dream, joined the US Army in 2006 and served with the 82nd Airborne Division. Two years later he successfully joins the US Special Forces (Green Berets). He qualified as an 18B Weapons Sergeant. He served two tours in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. He became a proficient parachutist, sniper and confident user of explosives. Later skilled in hand to hand combat, reconnaissance, infiltration and combat survival. He later retired at the rank of sergeant first class after seven years of service and won a Silver Star for bravery." So yeah, it's not that weird that Ajay is not afraid of killing.
Another sin at the mission where you must kill either Amita or Sabal: before getting to the target, you must kill Golden Path members. That makes you a traitor.
One more sin, in game the royal guard assaulters and defenders use P416s. But in the cutscenes (like the one where Ajay is in the bus at the start of the game) they use AK47s
16:19 Ajay imagined Yuma as Kalinag ( ts funny since you show the footage right when you say that you have no Idea where she is) I guess she wanted to gut Ajay personally? Yeah it still doesn’t really make much sense
Regarding the "drug that makes you envision the future" you could've easily connected it to the fact that mysticism is canon in the game. That's how the Shangri-La scrolls worked, the game respects the belief of the culture the game is set around, so it isn't really illogical in the game. Moreover Yuma didn't use drugs, she used that same magic, refer to how she made Paul bring a Hindu saint from India who could translate Sanskrit for her. So she was using mystic powers rather than drugs. Also you missed a sin: it doesn't matter whose missions you choose before Jalendu Temple. The game says that the ending will depend on how much you lean towards someone but you could do 100% Sabal missions before Jalendu and choose Amita at Jalendu to get Amita's ending. So the game was just making excuses for you to go zig-zag into double standards despite the fact that only the Jalendu choice makes a difference.
MérouLN To be fair, ALL of far cry 5s endings suck, narratively speaking, muddling any message the game might have. Though I have issues with 4, mainly because Ajay's participation in the story is a big "why?", the endings' message reflects the what actually was going on over the course of the game
The reason why ajay s mom didnt tell ajay about the war is written on a paper on a shelf at the beggining of the mission thruth and lies, where you fight yuma. read all the words wrote fully in capital leters
I had never played any of the other Far Cry games, so I thought this one was fantastic, THAT said, I definitely agree with your sins of the game. In many places, it seemed to teeter on the brink of brilliance, but tripped at the one-yard line. Either way, I loved the video, got some good laughs, well done!
I understand Pagan not sharing the Information with Ajay the start cause to him this is all just a game. "Choices have consequnces" What he means when he says that was the choice you made the start. It's like Pagan wanted to see what Ajay truly is. So he gave him the choice. "Should I stay or Should I go". Its pretty obvious this was all entertainment for Pagan watching Ajay dimantle his entire Army. Probably was funny to him cause Ajay is basically destroying his own future Army lol He even literally tells you on the Radio that served Yuma to you and Chose you. "Well atleast we now know you have a taste of doing what it takes"
The secret ending is 100% the best ending. I would totally buy a game about the weird "father-son" relationship where you become Pagan's heir and you go around killing rebels and having fun being an asshole.
Heeeeyyy. I've been watching your videos for quite a bit. And I have a thing to ask you. Could you use the game's subtitles, would be better for those people who don't have English as mother language. Thanks
Dying light please (also youtube has voting polls now, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you use one, just letting you know in case you don’t actually know)
at the table near the end when he tells you to wait you can wait 10 minutes instead of running away and he'll come back and then theres a different ending
Paul's sympathetic double sin removal should have gone immediately out the window considering he proceeds to brag about how he used his daughter to forge letters to noore during that same missions climax

The first Far Cry game is pretty nuts, DeathGamingXP. It's plot may be crap by today's standards, but for it's time it was just enough to keep you going. You could play it stealthily or Rambo style.
skywolf23 yea primal gets alot of shit but i think its probly my favorite but it should def be played on survivor mode and expert difficulty and at least the 2nd chance option for a challenge
Dude..you have sinned with the Hurk scene. Yes the driver spoke to him in perfect English and Hurk was too stupid to get it. The slight accent tripped him because we all know that HURK is stupid! I'm pretty sure the Golden Path figured it out. LOL THey didn't care as long as he was shooting for them.
One thing that bothers me in the last two Far Cry games, as you pointed out, is that an arguable good ending is one in which you do nothing. You let what happens happens, or in 5's case not happen. 4, you betray Pagan Min and go on to establish one of two Golden Path's, who each do something evil. Admittedly, 4's hidden ending ends too quickly to show what might happen, but at least it's not what the Golden Path had planned. But, in all honesty, Ajay could very well leave and then work with the Golden Path anyway. Another thing, I don't understand why Ubisoft doesn't dive into full blown magic, instead of this vaguely real, vaguely not thing they have going where the protagonist ends up high and experiencing an incredibly realistic drug trip, or leveling a tattoo or whatever particular system is available.

Those are the only two sins I really feel are unjustified. Everything else is very much correct, and I too am saddened by what could have been with the characters, tension, and story in this game. I still greatly love Far Cry 4 despite all of its flaws, though. :)
15:00 Anyone else notice that on a map Kyrat just looks like Europe, Africa, and Asia?!
Kyrat is set on the edge of Asia or something like that
music and art lover Tom is talking about the resemblence my dude
Yeah :D
I’ve read that Ajay was supposed to have been a green beret, having served in Afghanistan and Iraq. That would explain why he’s totally fine with blood on his hands.
I actually really enjoyed FC4. The quests were fun and the music was amazing. The characterization wasn't too bad.
The CIA turning on Ahjay is not all that surprising, I mean that is what the CIA is known for.
This game is hands-down my favorite in the series. As a matter of fact it's high up on the list of my favorite games in general.
Brandon Powell mine is Conker live and reloaded
Pagan is very funny, he explains how he got mad very well (depending on your choices in the very beginnign or ending of the game) And he's very good because he's not over the top like all the others trying to re creat Vaas's insanity.
Here's a theory, Pegan Min is skinny Kim Jong Un.
I really hate it when there is no possibility of a positive outcome in games like this.
Pagan Min and his governors are low key the heroes. I like playing as a double agent for them and after I free outposts for the golden path I let the predators loose once the GP guys arrive and ignore calls for help when the camps are being attacked.
Lol, that's actually pretty rad!
Should've taken 5 sins off for the buzzsaw. Fuggin love that weapon
He later retired at the rank of sergeant first class after seven years of service and won a Silver Star for bravery."
So yeah, it's not that weird that Ajay is not afraid of killing.
Wikipedia is a hell of a thing
Nice video as always Dart! :D
Imo Far Cry 4 is better than 5
Arash The Great better than three
@@supercooki1429 FC3 is amazing, such a fucking good game, but FC4 is better that's the fact

6:05 “Hits desk” THANK YOU!
Another sin at the mission where you must kill either Amita or Sabal: before getting to the target, you must kill Golden Path members. That makes you a traitor.
10:14 "He just spoke to you in clear English"
r/whooosh
Just finished binging all your videos, and you upload another already? Sweet!
One more sin, in game the royal guard assaulters and defenders use P416s. But in the cutscenes (like the one where Ajay is in the bus at the start of the game) they use AK47s
This is the first game where I literally 100% side with the quote-unquote antagonist
been waiting so long for this
Yeah, i've been waiting for the original outlast. :(
藍育翔
typical toxicity is typical
1000 Sins should be added for Unskipable Cut Scenes
You might need to add a sin counter for finding the royal guard before the game tells you about them
16:19
Ajay imagined Yuma as Kalinag ( ts funny since you show the footage right when you say that you have no Idea where she is)
I guess she wanted to gut Ajay personally?
Yeah it still doesn’t really make much sense
Still waiting for that Asura's Wrath video.
J H still waiting for that Bayonetta 2 video
Please do everything wrong with Yakuza 0, I need daddy Kiryu.
4:03
"The essence of any good story is the ability to subvert the expectations of the audience"
*Has The Last Jedi flashbacks*
Yakuza Zero next
Far cry 5 secret ending just ruined FC4 one. On top of being not that interesting to begin with.
MérouLN To be fair, ALL of far cry 5s endings suck, narratively speaking, muddling any message the game might have. Though I have issues with 4, mainly because Ajay's participation in the story is a big "why?", the endings' message reflects the what actually was going on over the course of the game
I believe Pagan saw Ishwari's eyes in Ajay when he says he recognizes those eyes.
Did anyone notice in FC4 when Noore jumps to her death a bear, wolf and some leopard all three happily eat him together.
Honestly I feel like this video has some issues personally.
“All you had to do was stay at the damn table, Ajay!”
Everytime Pagen Min opened his mouth or popped up on screen, you should've removed a sin.
6:13 the word “safety” is spelled “ssfety”. Sin for typo (Ding)
Ajay is able to kill people easy because he was in the US army prior to the events in Far Cry 4.
never stated in game. this is basically just fan theory the wikia added.
Congratulations this is your hundred video.
5:27 so handsome Jack? Edit: also dying light
11:02
“You’re dead?! *THAT IS AMAZING* “
Plus 1 sin for mispelling here
The secret ending is 100% the best ending.
I would totally buy a game about the weird "father-son" relationship where you become Pagan's heir and you go around killing rebels and having fun being an asshole.
Francesco ageed man
Congrats on almost 200k subs!
Now I can’t think of stranger things when I hear should I stay or go? by the clash. I think The obvious choice for next video would be yakuza 0.
"I'm betting that thing with the cows was demonetized"
OOOOOOOO...!
God I fucking love Pagan. Also I wish it turned out that he was ajay's dad.
he was kinda like a step-dad towards him
Picking Amita in one of the missions makes you destroy a beautiful monument which I regret smh.
Dead space or God of War 3. Great Job on the video 👌👌
you had me at "hot, sweaty, wall slamming sex"
Heeeeyyy. I've been watching your videos for quite a bit. And I have a thing to ask you. Could you use the game's subtitles, would be better for those people who don't have English as mother language. Thanks
1:45 Maybe the soldriers are too scared to say anything
11:22 What about Ajay's mother? wasn't she not only a member but a founder of the Golden Path?
Funny enough the secret ending is canon lmao, just like far cry 5
Dying light please (also youtube has voting polls now, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you use one, just letting you know in case you don’t actually know)
amita and Subal are the true villans i wish you could side with pegan and fight the golden path
plz man, i love the Witcher 3, u gotta do that one. Ur sinning videos r the best
at the table near the end when he tells you to wait you can wait 10 minutes instead of running away and he'll come back and then theres a different ending
I’d like it if you remade the Uncharted 4 sins video, by me it was rushed... really really rushed
Paul's sympathetic double sin removal should have gone immediately out the window considering he proceeds to brag about how he used his daughter to forge letters to noore during that same missions climax

2:35 You asked how he knew Ajay was coming to Kyrat, but provided no explanation why he shouldn't have.
All the character's names, dress, weapon(KHUKURI), beverage (raksi), even country's name 'Kyrat' is in Nepali and guys crying 'madarchod' in hindi,it just creams my corn!
What is weird is that in the game Pagan's hair is swooping to the right from his perspective but the game cover art etc show it going the opposite way
This far cry game was honestly The most boring out of all the entries in the series because I couldn’t forcefully sit down and choose who to side with because they were both evil in their own way, so I just got the secret ending by waiting 15 minutes at the very beginning just eating some lobster
Aron 2018 I’ll be honest: I’ve play EVERYONE EXCEPT #1.
That's the point: pretty much everyone has shady objectives and means, even your comrades
I killed them both and let min go lol
LOL THey didn't care as long as he was shooting for them.
even though i agreed with what you said. this is still my favorite far cry game, its just done better than the rest.
Oh you Gotta be kiding 😂😂 you finally did it 😂
Far cry 4 is hands down the best far cry game ever, in my opinion its even one of the best game ever made
Gameplay wise? Sure. Far Cry 3 is so much more tightly made, though.
