I love it I want one
Having previously owned a Citroen C6 & an XM I think is a lovely car but I wouldn't buy a hybrid - they are history now!
I'd be curious to know what percentage of mid-sized sedans are used by professionals (taxis/Uber, hotels"limos",...) and what the drivers/chauffeurs would think about both. I could be wrong but I'd think for them an hybrid is still a good compromised for now
If it was an electric i'd have one. Or at least have it on the short list.
REALLY love the back design, reminds me a lot of an E-class coupé
it is really nice, remember the Laguna coupe?
Man that is so nice. Too bad that brand is not offered in USA! 😫
Good luck DS, you deserve it.
It'll depreciate like a stone compared to the German competition.
It's just so hard to sell used french premium cars. There just aren't many people wanting to buy them so they go for cheap.
Oh no, those lights. One year in Finland with -20° celsius and some water and moist inside those lights, and they will not rotate at all.
Will you be reviewing the new ds4 anytime soon ?
Fantastic, it looks like the high-end design of the 2015 Peugeot 508 RXH. I want one
I think this car would have been better tested on the road. It's a luxurious, comfortable "cruising" car, so I'm surprised AT did this test exclusively on a smooth race circuit (the kind of place you take a GT3 RS to). When is the road review coming?
love the car
They should have made this full electric, a missed oportunity
Hybrids don't make any sense, except for company car drivers who have big financial incentives to drive them. It's built for them, I'd imagine 99% of these will be bought by leasing companies rather than private buyers who would prefer a superior full electric model.
Full electric….?
How will people who don’t have access to a charger (most people) charge their car?
Believe it or not, all the studies show that most people will be charging from home. Unfortunately, driveways and on streets access isn’t available at all.
If it was full ev it probably would actually sell rather well im sure.
Nobody wants to buy a large french ice car anymore.
I'd concider one if it was an ev. Either that or the new kia.
I love how knowledgeable you are, gotta sub
Guilloche & Breguet. Rhymes with the oshe in ocean and the ay in hay.
Great review. Good that you put a bright spotlight on an under-illuminated car.
They basically took all the looks from Mercedes, Audi, BMW and put it together with the design.
The animated lights first featured 10 years ago in the S Class. Thus always providing the S Class is always 10 years ahead of the competition.
Good for DS though.
Rory, would you review the Peugeot 508 PSE please. I believe you’re one of the very few people who can actually give a fair review of it
Those showy headlights are gonna be expensive to replace...each has 8 motors in it at least
They are expensive to replace on other premium brands too. BMW laser headlights cost a fortune. Pretty sure Merc's are expensive too.
Well, LED lights for all brands are expensive. Their prices usually start from 1200€ per light and go up from there with automation.
They're not just for showing off when unlocking the car. They also turn when you turn the steering wheel at night, like BMW, Mercedes & Audi have.
Love the geeky details keep it up lad!
This car looks like an Audi in the front and a Lexus in the back
What a stunning car!
Have to consider the reliability of the vehicle too
It is far more reliable that German offerings, and better built. You need to pay 90k+ on some German cars to even feel close, but they are not.
Considering its main rivals are German I imagine it'll be far superior.
