For which country are you talking about? In India there are popularly 2 taxes only: Direct tax and GST. what is agriculture tax ? what is education tax ?
Do one thing (total tax/ total salary) if some one is earning 40 Lpa , it would not be more than 20% tax from total salary. You earn more you tax more simple.

30% toh direct tax hai.GST on food, and every other things you buy is 18%..so you almost pay 50% of salary..govt of india is looting without giving anything in return..poor roads, no medical insurance, no support for child education etc etc

I work as a pilot in India and I have 1.2 CR CTC so after taxes I take home around 8.5 lakhs-10/month easily. Atleast my company is transparent and don't inflate the CTC like tech companies of which its mostly stocks and some random stuff. Maybe because of the crowd today opting for tech jobs, companies are inflating the CTC to fool people.

Bro, you shall also speak about taxation on salary. PF deductions and double taxations ( US +India) on stocks allocation/vest. This video is ultra superficial and does not depict a true picture. Ideally my experience says just do a 55%-60% of TCT, that's the amount you take home. So if the salary is 60 lpa, your take home will be 2.7 to 3 lpm.

Sir, one point I think you missed is that companies who gives RSU's - after 1st year they again give you some more RSU's for the same time period.

Your explanation does not count any payment done for execution of the equity/ESOP so I am assuming it is almost 0. Am I correct?
