It's rare that a podcast is worth listening to in it's entirety - let alone multiple times over. This is one of those podcasts.

Write like you talk is GOLD.......its so much more authentic, especially for the people who know you personally. When they read your writing, they can hear you reading it to them.

    32:37 origin stories
I couldn’t pitch or hit to the left side of the field but I wanted to make the majors.
I was small forgotten and out of baseball. I had hung up my cleats. Then my father came up with an idea that would help all of baseball.
I tried the thing and was able to hit major league level.
    I had a choice to make…
I could either hop back in and restart my game or I could build the thing that helps other kids hit past the lonely island in the middle of the diamond.
So I chose the ladder( building the thing)

27:58 So… every great story needs stakes:
    Stakes come from emotions
What emotion is on the line.
The other person will feel a certain way
He’s trying to impress his mom
His hosting story about veggies his ego was on the line and his mom would have been embarrassed because he couldn’t nail the brussels sprouts
