I know a gay couple here in Germany with a much bigger age gap. At the wedding the grandmother of the younger one said: "I had not expected my grandson to marry a man older than me." True story! They have been married for quite a lot of years now. The older one recently turned 90.

Great love story! Me and my husband have been together for over 6 years and we have exactly 37 years gap difference like you guys. We have having some random people jugging us and some negative comments about our relationship, but love always wins. We are super happy together, and we have an amazing connection even whit the age difference. Feels great to see that we are no the only ones.

I was 22 when I got together with my 57 year old boyfriend. We met at the bar and he was in a rough spot. He was living at my house for a few months and we would do everything together. It was lots of fun, going to clubs, dancing, movies, restaurants, out of town trips and fun in the bed was incredible. It broke my heart when he decided to end it because of our age. I understand that some gays are into older than them because some aren't for hookup culture in this generation, and it's kinda difficult to find for a serious monogamous relationship to settle down, spend their life together, it's just rare nowadays.

I’m 61 and have lived a straight life for 53 of those years. I am bi but truly have realized that if my rural Midwest upbringing and societal norms were more accepting of being gay, I probably would not have married a woman but married a man. I definitely like younger men and very much appreciate more mature younger men to spend time with. For me now I feel trapped in between my current/past life being straight married with adult children and the next life being gay and in a relationship with a younger man.
