Okay so I just checked to see if the methods I showed in my video still worked, and as of 12/6/20 they both work fine. If you are having problems with the methods listed do it slower and make sure you are copying the right thing.
5/10/2021 still works. If you are having problems try it again slower and MAKE SURE THE STREAM IS MP3 OR IT WILL NOT WORK
You might need to upgrade your CPU, that might be why its taking longer to exit the game. Another solution is to update your drivers if you haven't done so.

@@FastRide2 I'm never surprised when it comes to gamers leaving pr0n tabs open mid-game. Especially FiveM players, GTARP, ATS/ETS, & LSPDFR/LCPDFR.
It's as if a lot of these types of players play nonstop and do their daily routines while playing. I mean, no harm done really.
The music on ats is good u just gotta go on the right/real channels and you will get good music but we have our opinions
I agree. Somewhat. I just wanted it to feel more authentic listening to a radio station that I listened to when I was younger in one of the states that is in the game.
nice vid but use OBS Recording software instead and trying editing with ShotCut
Nah I’d rather stick with Bandicam (a program I payed for) which is way better the OBS recording in pretty much every way. As well as using BandiCut but I hardly edit.

I have never seen Windows 11 so I wouldn't be able to help you with that, but hypothetically speaking, you might be able to install Notepad++ on your Windows 11 computer. It won't be optimized but it'll work. Unless there was something else?

I've tried step by step but it keeps setting to default radio stations.
You might want to move the default live stream file out of your folder and have the game generate a new one. Then go into the file and delete all of the text. Then try step by step what I did and hopefully this will fix it. If you are still having problems, feel free to Email me.

@@FastRide2 i tried that but i finally got it to work on radio trucker with fmstream links added to playlist like you have at the end in the vid. idk why but ats would generate a new folder and overwrite my live.sii so, when i refreshed ats it kept the default stations. it was 😵💫🤬 😢 for 2 days. ty, at least it finally works 😎
@@jerzyboy1976 Glad I was able to help. With this new file you could I also try using the other methods in because that website doesn’t always accept every radio station stream.
Everytime I put mine it doesn’t put on is it supposed to say mp3 at the end?
Been awhile since I did it but I don’t think so. But it does have to be an MP3 stream.
Thanks for mentioning the .mp3 part. I was trying a stream which was .aac and it wouldn't work. It must absolutely be .mp3 for it to work.

It’s 20 minutes because I didn’t feel like editing. The actual method is pretty simple and as far as I know, is the only method that 100% works even now…. As long as you follow the directions.

If the radio station is not listed as an MP3 on the site it will not work. Also even if it is an MP3 there is a slight chance it won't work. A suggestion would be to do a CTRL + F and search for the station's slogan and then try the ones you find. Chances are if it is an MP3 it will work. I would be happy to help you out if you still need help. Feel free to email me if you are still having trouble.

The radio station I want to add is only in web player format will it work?
It's been awhile since I did it so I can't say for certain but I don't think no. I am pretty sure it has to be in .MP4 format. I said the format in the video I believe. My recommendation is to find a station on the website linked that is playing the same thing (normally its named something similar.). Hope this helped.
Just watched a little of my own video.... no it HAS to be a MP3 or it will not play.

Make sure on that radio website in my description it is MP3 format. After making sure of that make sure your livestream file has no typos.

Each radio station needs its own line but as far as I can tell there is no limit for the amount of radio stations per file ^^

I’m unable to edit with notepad
I use Notepad++. It allows you to open more types of files and is generally easier to read. Plus I believe you can get plugins to make the program better.

This was terrible, it didn't work and all it made me do was delete every other radio. I tried it multiple times but it does not work, this does not work. This video made me quit, thanks
Dude... You don't have to be mean.... especially when it works for 13K people and you are the only one it doesn't work for.
Either way, it ONLY works with MP3 stations. So if it doesn't work, chances are the station you are trying isn't MP3...
Plus..... Make backups..... always..... Don't just delete it..... I think I said that in my Vid as well.
@@FastRide2 I've got a feeling this is another case of some weirdo not listening, trying to add anything but .mp3 streams, and then anger raging.
Realistically, there are other methods to get non-.mp3 streams working, though this was pretty simple. Look up stations on Google, private radio webhosts, and more, and you can basically add anything you want to it.

Frustrating watching something that doesn’t work. But I and the 20K other people can assure you it does work.
Things to make sure:
The .txt file is formatted correctly
Make sure the stream is MP3. It only works with MP3.
If you’ve made sure of all of this, please watch it again. Maybe you missed something. I promise you it does work. I test it somewhat often to make sure it still works. In fact, when I wake up, I’ll test it again just to make sure.

Unless they are MP4 they will not work unfortunately. In the second video I kinda went over how you can find a station that is similar.

Legally you broke the law using a cracked version. But I don’t think it would work cuz ETS2 would have to communicate with the internet. If the Radio works in the game though and you can listen to the preset stations you should be fine.
If not, ETS2 and ATS go on sale quite often on Steam. They might be now. I know they were recently.

@@medicgamingreal7212 I’m not judging. Can’t really do much anyways. Tbh games don’t have good demos and the cracked version is never good. I try the game first like a cracked version if I’m not sure then I buy it. If I don’t like it I delete it. But if it’s a game I enjoy I buy it then delete it. Doing it like this I don’t see how it’s wrong as long as you buy it if you are gonna continue playing.
It is a good game and the workshop mods and DLC are great reasons to own the game. Not to mention it’s not that hard to make your own truck skins, even on modded truck (I’ll make a tutorial soonish). Customization is awesome and there are mods to add more
Plus with more later versions you can play with your Steam friends. I’d love to play with ya if you ever buy it. And convoy has mod support as well.
Plus you can get it much cheaper on G2A.com like 10USD or something like that.
