Peter Frampton is not only a great guitarist but he is such a joy to watch. The fact that he loves what he does shines right through every one of his performances
I've been blessed to see Peter in concert 18 times. He played While My Guitar Gently Weeps as the finale many times. It's such a great tribute to George Harrison. I love Frampton's version. Brings tears to my eyes. Congratulations Peter on your induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2024. Finally ❤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸❤
Okay let me think of how I'm going to say this. FIRST OFF,,our tickets for tonight's Peter Frampton Show safely in the frame (with one of my favorite classic images) I can't comprehend what we've just experienced. Was i emotional? Yes! I teared up. Giving my wife Stacy a kiss during the intro of Baby I Love Your Way. Peter Frampton was definitely like an aged fine wine. Pure musicianship on that stage tonight. I've seen ALOT of bands but tonight? I was blown away totally honestly Blown Away. With all the big Productions I've seen this was simply The best show I've ever seen in my life. Peter Frampton sounded as he did in 1976 no joke no kidding. The absolute pioneer of Live stage most definitely Peter Frampton. Sincerely Michael A. Bruce
Look at the pure joy in this wonderful man's face as he plays that guitar! They don't make'm like this anymore folks. God bless you Peter and thank you for sharing your humble talent with us all these years!
He's very underrated. Incredibly talented guitarist, and he still has that 100W teen idol smile! He also plays killer blues, which not a lot of people know about.
I've been a fan of Peter Frampton for 43 years now. I was 12 years old in 1976 when I started hearing songs from Frampton Comes Alive on the radio, the rest is history. Anybody my age, 55, who doesn't own that iconic album? And this performance was freaking awesome!!
Mr. Peter Frampton plays the guitar solos in a couple of songs in the "All things must pass" album by request of Mr. George Harrison to do so, he was 19 years old when was with Mr. Harrison in the studio, and as always he can, pays tribute to Mr. Harrison for that chance. Kudos from Guadalajara, Mexico ✌😎
Peter Frampton is a magnificent guitarist one of the very best in the world if not the best. His a true performer brilliant songwriter & singer and a master of the guitar. And just listening to this amazing cover makes you so thankful he does what he does so extremely well. 🎸👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏
Peter Frampton my hero Peter never abused drugs has self control in his life .that is why he gets old and still with us and enjoys the fruits of his labors
Actually, he made contact at one point in his life. In June 1978, Frampton was involved in a near-fatal car accident in the Bahamas and suffered broken bones, a concussion, and muscle damage. Dealing with the pain of the accident led to a brief period of drug abuse.[7][8]
Nonsense. The song "Do You Feel Like I Do?" is about drug abuse, and it's not negative. And while he's certainly a good guitarist, technically speaking, he's not really that interesting, musically.
One of the greatest. George was a perfectionist and he had chosen him to play guitar on his albums. He liked the old school because they were the best. Peter Frampton is top notch. Love you! ❤️
Nice! There is a fascinating story behind that LesPaul,Pete thought it was gone, yet the guitar returned,I am glad pop music is no longer taking Pete's guitar skills from us,he is clear and deliberate!
Pete's intro here, blew me away.... FUCKING GROWLING TONE FROM HELL. He is a far better player now than EVER... Totally inspirational, and i have HEARD them all.
I, Gregory Stinson, do enjoy looking at Peter Frampton the way he plays his guitar!!! When I was a kid, I used to listen to one of Peter Frampton's songs. "I'm in you! You're in me!" has been the song liked when I was housed in camp! As I got older, Peter Frampton has gotten better! His songs started producing some expensive power!! Especially, there on the stage! Beautiful sounds that effect crystal clear finger notes that wobbles his or her head until the music stops!! I'm so excited..!!
One of the top-10 guitarists of all time. Top 20 anyway. NOT underrated. lol That's just stupid. You must not know anything about music, nor play a guitar. Fucking YooTooBoobs.
When we were kid's back in the 70's Peter Frampton was always considered one of the top Guitarist along with Clapton, Walsh , Beck, Terry Kath , etc... Before Van Halen and the big hair bands of the 80's . He still commands high honors to this day, especially on acoustic guitar.
I agree... Frampton is a great guitar player.. but somehow he slipped through the cracks in as far as being truly recognised as being one of the all time greats. In my opinion he's far far more creative than Clapton the boring old blues purest (how many times can a guy play the same old Freddie King lines without turning his audience to stone?) Anyway.... Peter Frampton is one great and very colourful guitar player!
IDK about that, I saw Peter w/Ringo's All-STARR band w/Jack Bruce on bass,Los Angeles 1997, and Frampton could not play the leads to 'White Room' or 'Sunshine of Your Love'. Maybe he was still on drugs,IDK, but he seems to have recouperated here on this Beatles track.
Good lord man. I have watched the Prince/Petty version of this song and although I admire those artists greatly let us not forget the talents of Frampton. He is perhaps one of the greatest guitarists of his day and remains just as good in 2019.
i SAW PETER IN SAN DIEGO IN 1976 BOY, THE MEMORIES WATCHING HIM PERFORM WAS LIKE WATCHING A REAL ROCK GOD UNBELIEVABLE GUITAR PLAYING GLAD TO SEE THAT HE STILL HAS IT
I've known Peter Frampton's music from the beginning, and I've never stopped listening all through the years. Like all great musicians , their music never get old, and their music never Fades away. George Harrison , like many I love him and miss him , and his timeless music. I was aware and alive when the first Beatle album came out in the early 60s. I liked their music a lot back then , and so did everybody else, especially the girls. Their classic music will live on with the classics, for a thousand years plus.
How is Frampton not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? What a travesty: he's one of the greatest rock guitarist-singer-songwriters of all time! I saw him in his Farewell Tour in LA's Forum a few yrs ago. He had to retire due to a muscle disease, so sad over it...

Well THAT was embarrassing! UA-cam auto-played into this whilst I was listening but not watching. Came back to see who was shredding this classic and found myself wondering who the old dude was. Man, getting old is a beatch! But he was having such a good time. And sounding as good as ever. What a talent and a genuine nice guy. Thanks for the music PF!

Listening again in 2024. When Peter Frampton turns it on, miracles happen.
Simplemenete glorioso.
Que música! Show maravilloso. Me regresa a mi juventud. Aún no soñaba mi vida futura... Solo vivía... Ufff no coment.
Eso se llama tocar la guitarra!! Grande Peter!!
He's very underrated. Incredibly talented guitarist, and he still has that 100W teen idol smile! He also plays killer blues, which not a lot of people know about.
He is!
For me - it’s voice !
His style made a fan and I grow up knowing nothing about him
Please vote for him rock &roll hall of fame.

Mr. Frampton, Sir ... you never get old. What amazing chops. I remember the long-haired kid playing “Show Me The Way.”
Thanks! This is genial music!
BRABOOOO TENGO 63 Y VALIO LA PENA

One of the most underrated guitarist ever
One of the greatest. George was a perfectionist and he had chosen him to play guitar on his albums. He liked the old school because they were the best. Peter Frampton is top notch. Love you! ❤️
@patricia Barkley Maybe...but Clapton played on this on the album.
@@kmurphy739 , Clapton was his best friend. They were definitely a pair. They played great music together.
@@patriciabarkley735even had the same wife
Probably the definitive version of this classic. Every note he plays is in loving support of the truth of the material.
OMG! He is not only great. He is the BEST!
Nice! There is a fascinating story behind that LesPaul,Pete thought it was gone, yet the guitar returned,I am glad pop music is no longer taking Pete's guitar skills from us,he is clear and deliberate!
This man has got a superb melodic taste. He 's like the good wine, it' s getting better
while aging. Bravo maestro.
Yes and rock hall worthy please vote daily through April 15th.
Pete's intro here, blew me away.... FUCKING GROWLING TONE FROM HELL. He is a far better player now than EVER... Totally inspirational, and i have HEARD them all.

What a better way to spend the day. Frampton, a bowl, wine. Cold outside but warm under my blankee

Always plays different solos all his own,, Brilliant version. Great underrated guitarist......
Definitely. you can see a direct link between the riffs here and those of Satriani and other modern guitarists.

not underrated by me
@@@tpowell453 Undoubtedly a good player, but how many times do you see his name appear on a top-10 list or a top-20 for that matter ? Just asking...

One of the most underrated guitar players of all time - Pete is simply great, same league as Clapton
Prince was better than Peter and Clapton.
@@I_like_turtles_67 I cannot argue that - PRINCE was amazing.
John Mac laughlin, Santana, Mark Knopfler, Jeff Beck, Hendrix, Bloomfield.....
Better than Clapton. No pointless triplets. Prince, there will never be another.
Master guitarist paying tribute to a master guitarist I ain't got nothing but love and respect to my guitar heroes...:)
I have always loved this song, and love the way Peter plays it.
Frampton’s Still Way Alive ...
Fuiste y seguirás siendo mi ídolo! Eres grandioso!!
Mr. Frampton is a friggin Rock God!! One of the all time bests. What talent
