    You have the car for a week and drive it for only 7 minutes for the video? Never went over 50 mph? Never did a 0-60 time? Never checked the fuel economy? What is the point here?

    • @TaskForceGhost
      @TaskForceGhost Рік тому

      This seems like an oddly hostile comment.. the video had lots of information that I would want to know as a potential buyer. Also how do you know that they had the car for a week?

    • @ClassicCars_TV
      @ClassicCars_TV  Рік тому

      Thanks for the comment Chad. We like to share our thoughts on the driving experience for the review but we believe ultimately it is up to the buyer/consumer on how they feel after test driving the vehicle themselves. I can assure you we went over 50 mph to reach the freeway speeds of 65 mph. As for 0 - 60 times, we chose to trust the numbers provided by the manufacturer and qualified professionals who conduct thorough testing with the proper equipment. Thanks for watching!

    can anyone help me i’m looking into buying this car but when i look up charger scat pack the ones that come out are “rt scatpack” are they the same or is rt and scat pack two different ones because i can’t just only find a scat pack alone there is alway an rt in the front of the name

    • @AStanton1966
      @AStanton1966 Рік тому +1

      I own a 2022 Charger Scat Pack. Generally, you will always see RT listed before Scat Pack if it has the 6.4 Hemi. If it just says RT, then it is the 5.7 Hemi. You can also tell by looking at the front fenders. The Scat Packs will usually have the bee or 392 on the fender. The 5.7's will just say Hemi. 2023 is the last year for these cars, so get 'em while you can.

      @@perc10-550 In my opinion, the wide body is over rated. The reason is that it is a $6,000 option. It does give a wider stance and tires. However, those wider tires sling rock and debris back at your nice shinny car. The tires being wider, cost more to replace. And they also have a narrower aspect ratio--meaning that you'll feel the bumps. I have 245's on my Charger with the smaller Brembos. When it comes time to replace them, I won't get a haircut. Also the widebody makes it a bigger pain to park and go to drive-thru windows. And finally it means more weigh. The motor of the narrow body and wide body makes the same HP, so which should be faster? Finally, you get no fog lights with the widebody because of the location of the brake cooling vents.

    • @NJ_Scat_Hemi_Orange
      @NJ_Scat_Hemi_Orange Рік тому

      @@AStanton1966 $6k is worth it if you enjoy the look. If you are changing tires and/or brakes more than once every 2 years then that means you really enjoy the car. If you are taking this car to fast food drive thru then maybe you should park and walk inside or eat somewhere else. Yes, the wider stance slings rocks so you purchase PPF to protect the rear fender flares. Narrow body may weigh less however less traction with 245s which creates too much wheel spin. 305s feel safer IMO.

    4 piston

    • @scottandrews4822
      @scottandrews4822 2 місяці тому

      On the Widebody, the front brakes are 6 piston and the rear are 4 piston. All are Brembo with two piece rotors. The NON Widebody Scat Pack cars have 4 piston/2 piston brakes with 275/45/20 tires instead of 305/35/20 tires like on the Widebody. Also, the Widebody comes with Competition Suspension that is adjustable and includes a stickier Pirelli P Zero tire. So traction and braking performance is vastly improved.

    How may Hemi Orange Chargers did Dodge produce in 2022?

    • @ClassicCars_TV
      @ClassicCars_TV  Рік тому

      That is a good question! Hard to find an easy answer to that, we will have to ask Dodge. They offered the package on the GT RWD and Scat Pack Widebody versions of the Charger and Challengers.

    • @1scooterpilot1
      @1scooterpilot1 Рік тому

      @@ClassicCars_TV Thanks for responding to the question. I was talking to salesman at a dealer in AZ and he said they've only sold one Hemi Orange in 2022; that's what promoted me to ask the question. It sounds more like a limited number of Chargers/Challengers have the Hemi Orange option.

    Those cars definitely weren't designed with fuel economy in mind. Who wants that headache between being a target and living at the gas pump 3-4 times a week?

    • @ClassicCars_TV
      @ClassicCars_TV  Рік тому +1

      They are not the most economic vehicles out there. But they do offer a nice compromise for those interested in a muscle car and needing four doors, not to mention the balance advantages in the Charger over the Challenger. The car may not be to everyone's taste so to each their own!

    • @NJ_Scat_Hemi_Orange
      @NJ_Scat_Hemi_Orange Рік тому +3

      If you are living at gas pump 3-4 times per week then that means you are driving 700-1000 miles per week... Which I highly doubt. Being a target depends on where you live and where you drive.
