Higher RPM in launch control is not better. About 1600 is ideal. What you have to do to break 4.5 is put the suspension in street. Facing the car, raise the hood and look at the far right side. You will see a FUNCTIONAL intake tube from the right headlight to the airbox. The Scat Pack Widebody T/A uses the Mopar Performance Hood aa well that ducts cold air to an open element air filter with a rubber seal to the hood. There is also a large hole in the bottom of the airbox on Scat Pack T/A models. So: Scat Pack - functional air intake on (facing car) right headlight and under right fender. Hood scoop brings cold air OVER engine. Left headlight has a blocking plate that can be removed. A dirtier engine may be the result. Scat Pack with T/A pkg: * Functional Mopar Peeformance Hood ducted and sealed to open element air cleaner with rubber seal * Facing car, right headlight has intake tube ducted straight to Hellcat airbox * Bottom of airbox has large opening * NO air intake from right fender * Left headlight has intake blocking plate that can be removed but only ducts air OVER engine. I hope this helps. Scat Pack Widebody 392 T/A manual 6 speed with factory 3.90 rear gear is the best package overall IMHO.

It's a throwback to the 60's. Certain cars where in the "scat pack" group. "Scat" meant " to get or to move quickly "
@@Welcometofacsistube thanks. I did look it up. Those older muscle cars. They were nice. If I had one, old or new, I'd be happy. Then I'd go ahead and remove the scat badges. Call me heretic , but I would anyway.
@@Welcometofacsistube 💯. Tell em! Lol
Sorry but that’s yellow in my book, the General Lee is orange 🤪
Dismisses the cool features and ops for safety features. Lol you have zero business reviewing any muscle car, TFL.
He can't help it. He's Gen Z.
They really should stick to trucks and off-roading.
Speedometer > rpm view..
Best I can get (so far) in my 22 WB Scat is 13.6. Stock tires. For some reason I get too much spin when using launch control. It seems more controllable to power brake.
I wish I could upgrade from my v6 challenger to a scat pack. Who ever owns those are very lucky individuals
You can always upgrade and trade your V6 in when the time is right. I like the V6 versions too...wouldn't mind one for a daily driver.
Don’t worry hellcat guys look down on us too. It ain’t cool unless it’s a hellcat people forget the 6.4 came first. They always whine and say it can’t handle boost that’s because it was designed to be N/A
@@SRTGHOSTS 💯 Dudes be acting like Hellcats are end all be all for Challengers all the while forgetting R/T came WAY before SRT was even a thought. I love Hellcats & they are beast but for me, personally, N/A is the way to go. Y'know what they say there's no replacement for displacement 👍.
@@zohaib876 definitely the 5.7 is Motor that brought the hemi back people don’t pay it enough respect. Forsure bro I have my scat at mmx extreme now getting cammed and headers been 3 weeks should be ready next week.
@@SRTGHOSTS You're going to love it. I got my scat shaker cammed last year and added longtube headers + some other stuff. Went with True Street Performance- cost 11g altogether...what about you if you don't mind me asking? Red lights are about to get really interesting...everyone is going to want to race you 🏎
Americans don't have money for development of these high tech launch controls, too bad, they have awesome engines and transmissions but lack in tech, you gotta step up your game c'mon
So:
Scat Pack - functional air intake on (facing car) right headlight and under right fender. Hood scoop brings cold air OVER engine. Left headlight has a blocking plate that can be removed. A dirtier engine may be the result.
Scat Pack with T/A pkg:
* Functional Mopar Peeformance Hood ducted and sealed to open element air cleaner with rubber seal
* Facing car, right headlight has intake tube ducted straight to Hellcat airbox
* Bottom of airbox has large opening
* NO air intake from right fender
* Left headlight has intake blocking plate that can be removed but only ducts air OVER engine.
I hope this helps. Scat Pack Widebody 392 T/A manual 6 speed with factory 3.90 rear gear is the best package overall IMHO.
I’ll take a “dated” interior over all the stupid touch screens manufacturers want to out in today. And why do they do that? Cause it’s cheaper to build. It has nothing to do with “what people want.”
You said launch control was between 1200 and 1300 rpm. The screen as you’re saying that says minimum 1200rpm, max 3000rpm
Optioned out more for luxury than speed forsure. Challenger 1852 is the fasted 392 hemi car.
hello brother i need dashcam for my car what brand is the white you used, please help me with that
Why in the hell did you guys have the electric car fanboy review an actual muscle car? He lacks the testosterone to do this vehicle justice😂
I have a 2016 scat shaker with 275 drag radials and my 0 to 60 clocks at 4.5
I couldn't even finish this video it was so bad. If you headline it as ways to launch, I don't need 10 minutes of your styling critique or option choices
Thumbnail says “Torture Tested” probably because of the conditions since he drove it like my granny 👀🇺🇸😎
With the Jail Break version, who are they marketing these cars to and what are they trying to tell people? lol
