Eel skin is super durable.
As I remember, the eel skin wallets would demagnetize your credit cards...back in the 80's. You would swipe your credit card and nothing, rendering useless

I probably would have picked up the Betsey Johnson purse,and kept it. Her stuff is a bit hit and miss online,but I love her eclectic style.
I used to work in a UK national retail shop and if any clothes returned that smelled of cigarette smoke, the ladies dept sent them down to me in the stockroom 'for action'!!
I sprayed them with Febreeze (not sure what you call it in USA?) It smelled of fresh linen, so once I sprayed them, I opened our delivery door for fresh air and hung them up there to 'air'(as long as it wasn't delivery day!! Lol!!).

Great hat haul. @ .99 you can’t go wrong. Hats in FL are usually $3-5 at Thrift Shops. Cool Big Boy bank! We used to go to the restaurant as a kid. I’d probably keep it too and put it on my shelf.

Bob's Big Boy ---They're fairly big in Southern California most of them are gone, but there's one up in maybe Pasadena Glendale, has an amazing car show on the weekends..... you get all kinds of Classics that come for breakfast or lunch & show off their stuff.... I think this location is separately owned, they used to also have bobbleheads, I think I have a couple of those around someplace... mascot - they have a guy ( BOB) with black hair - he's wearing kind of a red and white outfit.... there are some parking lots up in Malibu near Broad Beach Road that are the same way amazing amounts of cars and celebrities... California and mostly Southern California really the car collecting areas, even Jay Leno is based out here... lots of racing shops had their starts out here... Dick Guldstrand used to be over in the Culver City area on Gasoline Alley, which is Jefferson by where the original Hughes aircraft airstrip plant was, used to be a client, there were all kinds of machine shop, based businesses on that block Escaderian cams used to be close by the owner building.. tiny little brick building I don't think they use it anymore, they went to my high school. now with millions of dollars it's all high-end condos, development...LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES

I can’t believe that your hats are only $.99. I frequent goodwill stores in Birmingham, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab and two in Huntsville Alabama and none of them have caps/hats for $.99. Usually they are marked anywhere from $2.99 to $6.99. Even if it’s a local business hat. You are so lucky to buy them for that low price!

I have a storm glass. They are for indoors. They don't really work, but for many years people thought they did. I have a similar shoe rack. If you have a problem with the shoes sliding off, simply turn the rack around and place it against the wall, and the shoes will slide until they touch the wall and not fall off.
I loved eating at Bob’s Big Boy restaurant! There was one in my hometown in CA. Hard to find one now.
Concerning the MICHAEL MICHAUD necklace, I went to BROOKGRREN GARDENS gift shop about 1/2 hour after watching this video and they had, under glass in a locked cabinet, a whole collection of Michael Michaud jewelry. It was gorgeous and they had some pieces similar to your piece but with tiny flowers made out of glass. They were asking $100 and upwards for each piece. Make sure that you start with a high price. I wish you great success and if you don't have a membership to Brokgreen I have 2 passes that expire at the end of the month that you can have.

I have a vintage playmate. I believe it’s from the 90s. It’s not the little playmate. It just says playmate and it’s blue and white in very good condition because it was my moms. I use it all the time. It’s very clean. I took it to a Super Bowl party.
11:14 eel skin wallets fell out of favor because they can erase the data on credit cards. But the purse is good looking.

Eel skin purses were reasonably popular in the late 80's I picked some in Korea and also had some custom Korean eelskin cowboy boots made for myself. I do believe eelskin cowboy boots might be valuable but the purses not likely unless name brand maybe

11:14 I used to have an eel skin wallet, long ago and I was told that it would demagnetize my credit cards, I was also told that that was a myth that it just didn't happen. Well may have just been coincidence but I had to get new cards constantly while I was using that wallet.
Eel skin is super thin and it seems like it would be delicate, but that stuff... mine never showed any signs of wear.
Odd toaster is for oversized bread like sourdough.
Eel skin deactivates your debt and credit cards. I had an eel skin wallet in the 90s and had to replace my debit card 3 times. My bank told me to get rid of my eel skin wallet because it deactivates cards. When I did the problem was solved.
