Goodwill was around in the 60s . My mom worked at one in Birmingham Alabama then. She earned 26 dollars a week and we lived off that. Rent food clothes and personal necessities. She could manage better than anyone I have ever met
Transformer. 🤣🙌🏻 My grandma had a 3 tier candy dish but it was crystal. That was around 58 years ago. Always filled them up with Brach’s Royals. My favorite was Butter Rum. 😋❤️ Kayla should’ve gotten that tea kettle. Would’ve made a great planter. ❤
I recently had some new chairs delivered in huge boxes , what was my very first thought ( and I said it out loud to the delivery guys) when I saw the boxes ……”I could put Kayla in there” 😂
You are right! I looove cats! Great finds today. The shoes are really nice. Maybe owned by an entertainer, definitely a snappy dresser. I used to have blue Weejuns. You may not know what they are, but they are still sold. I really liked that folding serving tray. I checked the shop, but it hasn't been listed. Thanks for the fun! Cat
I know this sounds crazy but I have personally tested every stain remover for clothing and what beat them all out is the one you can get at dollar general on the dollar isle!!! It even removes old stains!
Yooo! nice to see some people in my area that do what i love watching! theres a thrift shop near Loris that used to have some big picks but i havent been there in a minute.
You guys get it. Love the videos and the info you provide. It's not an easy thing to find good stuff and I def appreciate all the hard work it takes to show us your journey. Videos are educational and entertaining. The best you can get. Keep it up. Thumps up.
Love the ladder back chairs. The older ones are smaller than the newer ones I have found. The newer ones are larger to accommodate our larger bodies. They are usually also taller because our generation is shorter than our current populations
Oh, and I was watching your whatnot show not too long ago. I was the one wondering what my ring size could be. I took my daughter to Claire's, she was picking out earrings for herself. But it gave me the idea to try on rings to figure out my ring size, instead of bothering the people at the jewelry store.
@@beardedthriftmachine Yes I inferred that from your videos but it seems everything is single stitched...When you query Google you just get a pic of a single stitched item with the reference to vintage...Can your go into more detail...Is 'single stitch' a type of stitch?!? Sorry for not getting it...
If you find the Garland that's red grab it it's very popular just like them plain white ones but the red is more popular because it looks like cranberries I have them I absolutely love them wish I could find more
I always check belts and sometimes get lucky with an arcteryx or a tony lama, but it's really hard to find a good name belt that hasn't had a U-shape worn into it, seems like people wear belts way past the point of having outgrown them lol
23:24 Those chairs look old, repaired and refinished. Signs of age: Seats are dirty & well-worn. The fibers in the seats appear to have somewhat fused together with time and use. The chair bottoms have no metal hardware or glue drips. The wood has no knots and looks like a hardwood, such as maple or ash. Newer chairs will be oak (1980’s) or tropical hardwood (1990’s to present day) The joints appear tight and clean, which indicates good craftsmanship. The backs are extra long, which is a sign that the chairs are antique. Vintage and newer ladder-back chairs have more equal proportions-legs and back are of similar length. Also, it looks to me like the horizontal pieces on the backs are an unusual shape that you don’t see with newer, mass-produced chairs. However, there are also some signs of Newness: The round pieces between the legs look to me like milled oak, i.e., a different wood from the backs. This is because the grain pattern looks stronger in these pieces and because the wood appears more yellow. In some antique chairs, these cross pieces are of similarly uniform thickness/gauge. In some chairs, the centers are thinner, in others, the rods taper towards the ends and in others, there are turned designs.
You could have gotten an external CD-ROM player, for just 10 bucks or so. Rosetta Stone software or the program is expensive. You should have picked that up for three bucks.
It pays to take things apart. I just started piecing out my GE Opal ice maker. I'll make my money back for what I paid retail if/when I sell everything.
LOL....I still laugh when you say "doll hairs" or "Hundos" or ya'll pick up an Owl ang go "Who are you?". I love how Kayla still giggles when you say things. A long time ago I complained about a little girl being "too loud" when she talked. I went home that night and boy did God get ahold of my heart. I started thinking what if something happened to her and I never heard her voice again. I went back the next day and apologized to her parents (great friends) and told them that I would rather hear her loud voice than to never hear her again. So I kinda see things that way now. I would truly miss hearing "doll hairs, hundos, etc. so I say continue on....besides new people seeing you will have never heard it and get the chance to laugh or smile! Love ya'lls videos. Oh! Almost forgot.....I prefer Nigerian goats over cats and dogs, lol.
$12 "doll hairs." For the 2 Bose speakers. Makes me not want them. However, you both are very meticulous in checking comps and if it makes sense to buy it to make a good profit!
I don’t trust those language course programs anymore after having one not be able to load because it was no longer supported by the maker. I don’t pick those up anymore and Fitbits too. Had two Fitbits sell one couldn’t pair, and the other didn’t hold a charge.
Uh, didn't you know? Goodwill has been around since like 1913, the year lights were invented. Lol I think that is what the radio recording say at my Goodwill on loop. 🤪
You had to get breakfast, but you didn't say what breakfast was, inquiring minds (mine any way) would like to know. I'm a foodie and I love to get breakfast out, it makes me feel like I'm on vacation.
Thank so much for watching!!!
way to go guys
Always!! Love watching your amazing treasure hunts! ( :
I love cats and dogs infact the only animals i don't like are rats.
Like how you are putting the profit amounts at the bottom. Real nice finds ❤😊
12:01 isn’t Queen Anne a style and not a brand?

At five years old, I was rocking Sears, J.C. Penney, and Tom McCann shoes.
Love to see you winning at the thrift stores 😃

Love your channel...Can you explain why you point out items are 'single stitched'...What does that mean to you...Thanks for sharing...
@@n8tyler sometimes it means it’s a vintage shirt and can be worth more money

Merry Christmas from Tennessee 🎄🦌
As a kid I remember wearing Buster Brown later I think they were known for shoes but I remember Buster Brown shorts and shirts.
I never notice you guys going to the belts and checking them out, one would think there would be some good ones now and then.

Levi and Express are good for reselling
Those cool wood ball garlands would be great to hydrodip!
20 years ago we bought a set of those ladder back chairs for $8 a piece at Walmart. Very well built and very uncomfortable 😂
22:50 Those are some sharp looking shoes.

I wish my Goodwills were like this. Mine would have had those True Religions for $30.
Those adidas nmds are literally the best most comfy shoes adidas makes I only by those
those are vintage chairs.
Fancy shoes❣️

Lol thanks for the shout out about the cats. Assuming I was the only person to say I don't like cats. 😂
Great video's
Can always tell when Julian has coffee first.
The shoes in your area are CHEAP! Up here in Connecticut, they start at $20, and thats for the ones that are well worn!
Do you replace the grips on the golf clubs? Or sell as is?
There are more cat owners than there are dog owners which really surprised me I love cats cuz they're so easy going like me😂
My day is complete!
Loved the Whale shirt, too bad it had stains on it
SAS is a total shock.
Why can't Rosetta Stone be sold online?
I like cats, but prefer dogs!😊
What does it mean when you say Hundos? I’m thinking it might mean like hundred! If you say two hundos, two hundred? Lol
Hundred
Did you guys turn off the ability to change the speed on your videos? I can't seem to adjust the speed anymore, but only on your videos.
I’m allergic to cats, love dogs 🐶
What about cats who think they are actually dogs? 😂

Sorry, it's not SASS, it's either S - A - S (say the initials) or San Antonia Shoemakers
Goodwill was founded in 1902 by a Methodist minister..believe on the east coast.
EDIT* Cats cost me my eyesight in the right eye.

I'm not the only one that has had way too much of the "doll hairs" comments....
