Got a long list of pretty incredible guys i'd like for future episodes… thinking of revealing an incredible Irishman’s secret Hublot fetish once and for all... ;-) -Paul
The selfindulgent slightly wankerish side of TH never resonates with me but I respect the what he brings to the table and I appreciate bringing in his family regularly.
I think a lot of times we over romanticize the work our parents and grandparents did. In no disrespect to your dad, I myself did some difficult work earlier on and my dad worked very physical labor for over 30 years. But at the time, during what now you’d look back as suffering, it never felt so. It was just doing the thing. I’m just working and finding small pleasures in it. Maybe that’s our coping mechanism. Or just maybe prior to social media we weren’t as exposed to the wealth or perceived excess of others. Sometimes I look back at those times with nostalgia of the simplicity. I hope you see what I mean.
I know what you mean, And I’m sometimes still okay with it. What’s the worse that can happen by romanticizing the past? I have found motivation in those thoughts that have helped me become a better version of myself. Maybe it wasn’t that hard for them as we thought after all.
This video is so motivating. Thank you for the performance and capturing into words what so many of us struggle to say. Amazing. I even took notes on how you verbalized “my family has been here since the 1860’s where is our yellow stone. What did we do wrong? What did those families get that we didn’t.” 👌
WOW... Just wow. This is hands down the best watch film I have ever seen. Ive been watching T&H for a number of years now and this is seriously next level. I also saw the other video on this channel and im floored. the emotional impact out of two short films is just unbelievable, who ever is responsible for making these is beyond talanted. well done, hope to see many more!
Wow, on all fronts. So much respect to this young man, been watching since day one - couldn't be happier for him and his family! The way you guys have depicted his story, is above and beyond, exceptional...and above all this message resonates, and will definitely inspire the next Christian Zeron!
Despite the qualifying statements, I still sense a feeling of grievance, chip on your shoulder, envy, and an injury of being looked down upon, and a desire for wealth or status or recognition. Despite the statement that money is not all that important. But all those can be valid feelings. But you should come to terms that nothing is owed to you now, or that something was irresponsibley handed out to a previous generation or ethnicity.
Hey man! Great comment and perspective. The wounds may be well mended, but that skin is always tender. I am certainly not completely “healed”, and I’m not sure I want to be. That chip on the shoulder, balanced with some healthy perspective, is a very productive character trait that I’m grateful for. Again, it’s a tough equation, but I’m doin my best!
The only piece I’ll take exception with is the “owed”… that’s categorically a misread. I feel no entitlement, never did. Anger and embarrassment, yes. But never entitlement…
@@TheoandHarris No harm meant. In fact, I often feel like an outcast, an outsider, because of my name and color of skin. Especially because I need to work with suburban/rural whites, and can hear their explicit or implicit judgement on the daily. I cannot take it personally, or it will ruin me. I just need to keep plugging along. Someone said “no one can make you feel bad about yourself, unless you allow them to.”
My German brain: do not lean on the door. WHY is he leaning 😂 Seriously, awesome video. Really enjoyed it, was great seeing a different glimpse from Christian 👍🏻
Super relatable stuff here, Christian. Home run. This is the internet using its power for good. This was how we were supposed to use this thing, to connect.
Good video, I enjoyed the stories, broll as well as the overall package you guys created. Well done and as someone who wasn't born in Switzerland, and started something by myself, always keeping my parents in mind, I can relate to this video a lot.
What a fantastic video. What a pleasant experience for watch lovers. Congrats to the filmmaker and to Christian. If you love watches, and they are part of your journey, there are so many parallels between collecting and life itself. The joy, the struggles, family, heritage, the pursuits. Watch Check team and Christian clearly gets it. Congrats.
Was great until shot unlocking the open top convertible. Also - do you need the radio code for that Blaupunkt? Nice family you have and good to see you value them.
I remember watching your videos you did in your car. You’ve been inspiring and this story feels very familiar with my own father raising 5 kids. This is an amazing lens to view life with, thank you for sharing Christian!
My dad, grandfather, uncle, aunt cleaned toilets, everyone they knew cleaned toilets. They did their job w dignity. And not a single one of them would’ve passed up the opportunity to never clean someone else’s feces again. The two realities can exist at once.
My favourite video. Astonishingly well done, heartfelt, raw, brilliant cinematography production…and soundtrack. Loved it…enough to make my wife watch it too
Thank you for sharing your father’s story, stories like these need to be told and archived which you’re doing an incredible job. It reaches and touches people across the world and also helps to put things into perspective as a father like myself in a time which things are tough. Thanks again!
It's an aspiring video. BUT I have a lot of qualms with it. When I first started watching Christian's videos, back when he used to do them out of his car, he already lived on Long Island. I've never met a poor person who lived on Long Island. Period. Second, Christian gets a decent amount of SSD due to his inability to smell. I mean like it could pay the majority of your rent in the South kind of disability payment. In addition, when he started out in this business, he lived with his parents. So, when Chistian says he did this on his own, I can't help but wonder how many disability payments went toward the business when he was starting out. When the government supports your needs, can really claim success as though it's your own?
I can’t tell if you’re joking around or not. I am not from Long Island and I do not get SSD. I did live with my parents until I was 26 though yes. I am very lucky for their support
I was having a crapy day, and for 10' i forgot about it. Felt really close to the subject, specially because i work hard in order to improve my life. Again thanks guys.
Okay I'm so confused. I saw a video where he said he felt weird buying his first BMW because his family was always a Mercedes family. He also said in another video that a $6,000 watch would be a normal gift for him from his mom. So were his parents poor before he was born but not after? Or were they poor when he was a kid? Most poor families aren't "Mercedes Families." That being said this dude has the best watch taste on UA-cam.
Wow. Just wow. That is exactly how I feel about watches even though you didn‘t even talk about watches a lot. I would love to be a part of it. Let‘s talk
Serious complement that's seriously appreciated. Thank you. Christian was always a massive inspiration to me not just in watches but for storytelling, meant a ton to create this with him. Glad you enjoyed!
318’s are so fun! There's this unique bond among us Bimmer aficionados. I started with an e28 (my grandfather had one in the 80’s)... When I came across Christian's e30, it was a no brainer to feature it, also paired so well with the narrative. Glad you enjoyed, lots more to come!
Im just alittle older than Christian and I have to say I just love his style - so incredibly different to the normal.. I love the way he rocks that old school 3 series in red -- and that old G wagon he had.. love the Cartier pieces, and the unassuming white gold Pepsi that is only known to those who know.. and as a bonus its like an upgraded version of what his dad wears.. just is a very cool dude who I’d like to meet in person some day
Incredible! This is what it is all about... aspiration, followed by achievement and then a realization that what truly matters are the simple things that money cannot buy! Sadly... you need to get to a point where you have it all to truly know that it doesn't matter! Brilliant story telling! I am trying to replicate my father's watch collection with modern versions. It is completely ridiculous and makes no sense to do it, but for whatever reason, it is something that I am drawn to do! Happy New Years everyone!!
What an incredible video! What an incredible guy!

This was a true masterpiece. Not only really entertaining and beautiful cinematically but really freaking POWERFUL.
This was incredible. I would love to be in a position to tell stories with this level of cinematography
I've watched Christian everyday since 2016
Means alot to me to see him here now
Appreciate this man guys. Unapologetically himself
Thank you so much my friend..
I've also been watching him from the beginning...I admire the growth. Motivated me to focus on my watch channel.
Great video. Really showcases your talents but also your personal growth. Thank you for trusting us with something so personal.
What's the watch at 1:30? thanks
Great story. It was a joy to watch!

Great video this kid has something special.
I love this man. Christian, you are a gift to your generation. Thank you for the view into your heart and soul!
You and me both pal. #mancrushmonday
Beautiful video. Could you possibly also let me know where that blue sweater is from (in the red car)?
OMG! You fell for the bullshit! So.. if the sweater is from Ralph Lauren, will that be OK? What if it’s Target? Pathetic.
Simply Amazing!
Super relatable stuff here, Christian. Home run. This is the internet using its power for good. This was how we were supposed to use this thing, to connect.
Self-reflection is what helps us grow by appreciating what is real and what is not fake but just question “is it worth it?” Great vid! Indeed.

Good thing he has that GMT, which is definitely steel and not white gold, to balance out all of the gold watches in his collection
I think it’s actually white gold.
It actually is white gold. He’s shown it and talked about it on his channel many times.
