Christian, I wear a 34mm Rolex ref. 15210 everyday. The size is timeless and classic, bigger isn't always better. Love todays show. Keep it up. BTW, nice picks 🔥
Interesting pics - love the yellow gold AP chrono, and platinum daydate (think I prefer white gold meteorite). Would be really interested to see a Patek focused video to demystify the brand and hear your take on all their iconic pieces over time.
Love these picks, each one fits your personality and compliments greatly what you’ve found you thoroughly enjoy throughout your watch journey and each one has a special story behind the pieces too, great video as always!
Limited to 5 watches, no budget limit, I'd go with: - A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Minute Repeater, white gold on blue strap, blue dial - Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon, pink gold on green strap, green dial - AP Royal Oak chronograph, yellow gold on bracelet, white dial - Rolex Day-Date, rose gold on bracelet, olive green dial - Breguet Classique Complications 3797, platinum on black strap, silver dial This is just off the top of my head, though. It'd probably change every time I tried making a list of only 5 watches.
Surprised you picked the platinum day-date with fluted bezel. Figured you would have gone for more traditional smooth! Great pics, totally your style! Love that gold AP!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not that anyone asked but here’s mine: - Vacheron Overseas Everest dual time LE - Patek nautilus 5712 Rose gold - Patek aquanaut 5968 (okst grad go pokes 🍊) - Patek Grand Comp 5320G - Rolex submariner (no date)
Guys. Your taste is incredible. After years of lusting over modern Rolex, I got an IWC Mark 16, and now looking for 34-36mm gold Omega or JLC / IWC / Zenith / Blancpain dress watches from 20-30 years ago.... honestly those kind of watches are small, elegant, light, so so versatile and comfy. I do not need modern bulky stuff. Even my Mark 16 feels a little big, but I love it, but my heart is now with smaller and vintage watches. Mainly thanks to you and opening up my mind. Oh and thanks to rolex for never calling me about my DateJust on the wish list. Thank you Rolex for pushing me to much more special and precious watches ⌚️ 💖
I have read the same articles regarding pt vs au patina and as far as I can tell this refers to rhodium plating being lost over time with scuffs and scratches. decades of desk diving would wear away a pt clasp just as much as it would wear away a au clasp. agree about glacier blue dials on wgdd. the first 6 digit day dates were a weird time especially since you could get the 118209 with smooth bezel and basically "factory fake" a pt watch. the shine is a little warmer as we know, but...why did Rolex offer it? it would be like offering a sunburst blue dial on a steel daytona or a chocolate dial on a non-rose piece.
For me one of my dream watches that i own already is tag heuer carrera day date in blue dial steel bracelet. Always loved this one but hesitated for months due to all the hate towards the brand. However, i just realized later i still loved the look of it it freakin sexy on my wrist and i wear it as my go all do all watch.
Michael! Please tell christian to watch episode 5 of American Gigalo: The escape wheel. For his pleasure and his audience. Thank you. Mr. Matthew D Miller.
AP that you chose is a dressy sport watch how is that Industrial in any way? Just because it's brushed finish doesn't make it industrial I think you're completely off base with this choice
So, you glorify the Cartier Crash (which is clearly ripped off from one of the all-time great artists), but vilify the metal worker who stole Cartier's stolen IP to make a buck...?👀😬
The truth of the matter is the watchmaker made this watch before Cartier did Cartier was forced to put their name on it because so many people liked it the level of BS coming out of Christian's mouth is ridiculous he doesn't do research and if he does he completely disregards the truth and then makes up his version in his head and that's what we hear it's so disappointing honestly I would have to agree with you they're not trying to do anyone of service they're trying to make a buck in turn deluding the truth further to people who just take them at their word to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement not to mention he doesn't even mention the second Salvador Dali nor would he be brave enough to say that Rolex actually used the blumponk 50 Fathoms as a design for their Submariner so he just throws around the word Thief willy-nilly as long as it meets his narrative what does he care he's going to make a buck on Advertising from Squarespace or whomever sponsors individual episodes to use Christian's own words if it walks like shit talks like shit smells like shit and tastes like shit it's probably shit honestly that's what I see coming out of his mouth a big brown mess of poo
I'm not a dress hot guy I don't like watches so tiny I just like watches that fit proportionally on my wrist I have quite a hard large wrist at 8.25 in so I tend to wear things between 39 and 45 mm depending on the lug the lug distance and just going by the way that everyone dresses on this podcast it's kind of ironic Maybe but Christian likes dresses but dresses so casual that said Everyone likes what they like and no one is wrong to like what they like kudos to actually having a style and a route that you prefer many people struggle even after years of wearing watches of what they actually like constantly questioning their decision
In regards to the Submariner when talking value for money the Omega Seamaster Pro 300 M is a far superior watch at any price let alone the fact that it's a third of the cost why wouldn't you have this in the place of a Rolex all is Rolexes done is had better marketing they're not a superior timepiece in any way I'm not knocking Rolex they are a fine watch but in comparison to others they really just don't cut the mustard
The Santos is the first wrist watch the first sports watch in the first aviator watch so you could say that it inspired literally everything after on arrest I'm very disappointed
Cartier didn't make up that story there was actually several different versions of where the design of the crash watch came from none of which are directly attributed to Cartier it's not a claim from the company it's a story a Mythos from fans was this watch inspired by Salvador Dali most likely but stealing really that would mean that Rolex quote stole their design from the 50 Fathoms while I respect Rolex I'm not a Rolex fanboy and I wouldn't even say that
I'm sorry, but I have to be honest. An audio only version of a podcast that has sooooo many visual references just doesn't work. How hard could it be to just keep one color grade and edit it and upload it?̊̈ Rather than being delighted that there's more content to consume, I am left frustrated instead. I understand Christian would be like f you you ungrateful bleep, but you should think again.
The funny thing is is on the ultimate watch collection in a two-person show only the liar and the idiot built a collection Christian should be kicked off his own show is there another person on this show or is he just a crony in a Yes Man for Christian it would be interesting to hear his actual opinion I bet you if you separated the two Christian would ultimately fail
What you neglect to say in your AKA fake Cartier crash watch is that the ones made by the watchmaker at his home were actually made before Cartier manufacturer them as their own brand and that people got their hands on the watch and liked it so much that Cartier then in turn started to manufacture it themselves so wouldn't that make the Cartier version the fake? The lack of research in the off the cuff flamboyancy to truth is so flagrantly disregarded on this channel how can anyone trust what you say you guys have a great personalities but Christian to use his own words if it looks like shit smells like shit and tastes like shit it's probably shit so anything having to do with history and a story with a watch coming from his mouth to me sounds like shit maybe you should actually do some research or re-research things before you record them and distribute them to the public so you can re-familiarize yourself with the actual truth instead of the made-up truth that you twist in your head and then produce shockingly disappointed in your version of the truth it's so far from it it's ridiculous and how dare you perpetuate lies to other people that don't actually know so that then they tell someone else and they tell someone else you're really doing a disservice to the whole entire watch Community by doing this you should be ashamed of yourself

The Cartier/Dali story was fascinating. Never heard that before. Thank you.

So with you on the 16600. So much character. So wearable. So underrated.
Great episode guys! It was also good to hear Michael revise his comments about scratches on Platinum vs Gold.
i got the call for my pepsi on saturday. I still cant believe it! i almsot cried while picking up my watch. dream come true

Love the Cartier Crash story. True or not your version absolutely lives up to "occam's razor". Fun as always to watch

222 Jumbo VC in the Stainless Steel.
Not that anyone asked but here’s mine:
- Vacheron Overseas Everest dual time LE

- Patek aquanaut 5968 (okst grad go pokes 🍊)
- Patek Grand Comp 5320G

First time hearing the Crash story, really interesting!!
Michael: What is that Flannel shirt you are wearing in this video? Very cool!
Quite expensive radar is why I watch you guys!!! The Cartier crash London - confirmed quite expensive ha ha
Love a yellow gold industrial or sport. My dream is VC yellow gold Overseas w blue dial.
@8:00 "$10,000 you cannot beat the value!"
That's one way to put it!
Thoughts on the celestial ?? I feel like if its unlimited def deserves something
Cartier watches are so bad ass and unique.
As of 3/3/23, that rainbow daydate is available on Chrono, in the US at 67,000. Quoted 100K in the video.
T&H for life!!!!

All good pics. Myself, I am not a crash guy and would probably go for a Lange Saxsonia or something else from Lange.
Agree that whilst it’s a brilliant list the crash isn’t what I’d do with the amount a crash costs. A tank asymetrique would do nicely.
10:22 Is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What about Michael's?
Never heard of the glacier blue dial being offered by Rolex on WG DDs.
Love the picks! Nice video.
Now do one for Michael
Nautilus 5711. Just that.

Also an oris propilot big crown day date in grey dial 44mm. Love it. Bezel is so amazing. It is a killer watch.
I see Christian as a Cary Grant type,of course you can pull off a smaller watch. he's got that going on...
Did Christian just say he was the pope? Was distracted making tea 😂
Great episode. Interesting picks.
Hands down the best “dream watch collection” out there. You have phenomenal taste!
Can’t go wrong with diamond incrusted brancards.
are you wearing a breguet 7027 ? I thought you wanted a 7097.
Which watch is Christian wearing on this video?
Coolio shirt Christian. Michael, nice singing.
Gangsters basement paradise
Well done I exhaled loudly
The 5004 is the GOAT. My dream is a platinum 5004, salmon dial, with black Breguet numerals.
i did not know that dali worked with piaget
The one where Shiny Mikey gets a spray tan.
Looking forward to the bleached teeth next week.
Keep it up boys 👍
Lightning setup and filters definitely need attention (love shiny Mikey) 😂
that Piaget tank must be the best black tie watch of all times..
Another killer episode
You got a shoutout from Nico!
That five watch collection quickly turned into more when you started picking two in ever category haha.
5004 is an absolute grail
Wait… did Cartier ACTUALLY say that’s the official story?
Michael! Please tell christian to watch episode 5 of American Gigalo: The escape wheel. For his pleasure and his audience. Thank you. Mr. Matthew D Miller.
I have never been this early! 🎉
JLC ultra thin 34-38mm in gold. Dream watch. A proper watch. Not going with the sheeple and getting rolex. No thanks
AP that you chose is a dressy sport watch how is that Industrial in any way?
Just because it's brushed finish doesn't make it industrial I think you're completely off base with this choice
Did Christian get his shirt in Arizona? 😂🤣
Cmon let's say it together
Bull gaaar Eee
Hmm. Hmm. Everybody has their own price points and limits. Christian's tastes exceed my own. Who knew.
Original Title: “My Dream Watch Collection”. Y’all been on a good run though 🙏🏾
Platinum is considered a liquid metal.
More like butter

This channel is entertainment/advertising for Christian’s shop, nothing more. Don’t expect a lot.
A little hostile there buddy
What a fun crowd y’all are
I'm not a dress hot guy I don't like watches so tiny I just like watches that fit proportionally on my wrist I have quite a hard large wrist at 8.25 in so I tend to wear things between 39 and 45 mm depending on the lug the lug distance and just going by the way that everyone dresses on this podcast it's kind of ironic Maybe but Christian likes dresses but dresses so casual that said Everyone likes what they like and no one is wrong to like what they like kudos to actually having a style and a route that you prefer many people struggle even after years of wearing watches of what they actually like constantly questioning their decision
There’s something about diamonds on watches that I find so incredibly and horribly, disgustingly, ugly

$8M right!??!
Algo
Respect on that crash. Nice choice grease ball.

Tiny?!
That Submariner looks like it's size for a 7-year-old whoever that watches fitted for is got literally toothpick rests my goodness
the roman numerals totally destroy the day date....damn things should be banned
The into was kinda ugh
Aaaaaaannnnnnnd looky there, no nasty ass longines!!!!
These guys can't compare to Teddy Baldasar lol
too heavy, too much money.
Your airpads crying
I'm sorry, but I have to be honest.
An audio only version of a podcast that has sooooo many visual references just doesn't work.
How hard could it be to just keep one color grade and edit it and upload it?̊̈
Rather than being delighted that there's more content to consume, I am left frustrated instead.
