Nightwish army requested, and now it's there! Here's my reaction to the"Ghost Love Score" Live a the Wacken festival video! Though I remember watching it, I don'T remember it very well, so I thought I could still try it out, and I think that reaction video turned out pretty well! Hoping you guys have as much fun watching this as I had when recording it!!!

Browsing through your catalogue (and hearing your intro to this video) I would like to suggest to follow up with all Floor's perfomances from Beste Zangers since you are already familiar with Nightwish. Then maybe as someone else suggested go for Sancta Terra and move to Epica (I noticed Chasing The Dragon), then Kamelot and then maybe flowing into Elize, Alissa? Or instead of moving onto Kamelot, do other Dutch female metal singers like Charlotte Wessels, Sharon den Adel, Anneke van Giersbergen?

Thank you for your nice reaction. You're right, it's not only you that GLS always had a special place in our heart as a fans especially when they performed it in their live concert.
It's that kind of song you don't think right away should end up in a live from hearing it on the album, but once you hear it you can't undo it, it HAS to be live every single time
My favourite moment in Floor's performance of this song is not the Floorgasm at the end there (though that's absolutely awesome), but my favourite is the "forgive the adoring BEAST"! The sound of that last note, how she hits it, so low and so powerfully, oh, that goes right down to my stomach, reverberating around my rib cage. Very few "reactioners" tend to highlight that note but it's just absolutely out of this world.
Singing low and powerful is soooo underrated honnestly. High notes are what people are impressed with but they are not as difficult as people make them to be. There is so much things about singing I find more challenging.
Your reaction is so similar to mine as I listened this song so much time when I went to school (more than 15 years ago actually) and I was so shocked (in a good way) when I heard this version with Floor as she added such cool things like distortion or that high mix in the end (the original version don't have them).

Try Floor singing "Sancta Terra" with Simone Simons at Epica's Live Retrospect show. Two wonderful singers and a full orchestra on stage. Floor was a guest singer at that concert and the two of them absolutely nailed this song.

Floor was in a couple groups before Nightwish. She started in late 90's in After Forever until they broke up in 2009. She then formed Revamp, which went until 2016 (disbanded because Floor didn't have time to keep up with 2 bands). Last year, she did a hard rock side project called Northward with the guitarist from Pagans Mind.

One of my many favorite Nightwish songs would be Ghost River.
I have watched almost every reaction on this song, some are obviously better than others, but I really love yours because firstly you already know the song, very well, and you still are in shosk, and secondly you make me feel as if you look a video with old friends (us), having a good time on a winter evening....I loved this mood !
I would suggest to go on with Nightwish Holy Trinity, you're absolutely ready for that : The poet and the pendulum, then The greatest show on earth. The three longest songs from the band, and I think, their masterpieces.

Love your passion for Nightwish and music in general. You really seem to feel it in you, and that IMO is why we have music - not just entertain yourself but also really live it and feel it in your body and soul.
Naturally, the best choice for your next reaction is "The Poet And The Pendulum" (Live at Webley) because of the different styles of singing she uses.
And I think it's nicer if you pause the song while you want to comment.
Never apologize for being emotional while listening to music, especially Nightwish. They are masters of making us feel through all aspects.. writing ,performing and stage presence. they have it all and know how to use it.

One essential thing that really suits this song is Florida's mastered and controlled use of vibrato. And of course especially her way of being aware of each and every tone and then getting a whole out of it. But perhaps most of all, it is so steeped in emotion and presence.

Great reaction! I've been a Nightwish fan since their first album. I've never heard of the band Wishmaster. It's nice to hear that there is a Nightwish tribute band so close to home (I live in Plattsburgh). I'll have to catch one of the shows!

Reaction from someone has actually sung the song - how cool is that? Please, keep them coming. Yes, within a few months of joining Nightwish, Floor had turned this into their must-play song. The guys were happy about that, because now they didn't have to play Wishmaster at every concert. How about reacting to Alpenglow from Wembley or Tampere? That was my favorite off of the last album, but I see very few reactions to it. And try Yours is an Empty Hope from Rock in Rio. Floor's mic was turned up too high, so you can really hear her growling underneath Marco's voice.

I found out about Floor by accident a long time ago looking up she is my sin when I first found out about nightwish. Loved her cover then saw her live and totally fell in love with her voice, been an admirer ever since.

Yes, I was sad that he had to step down. I am glad they found Kai, though, in order to step in to the position. I REALLY HOPE the lineup doesn't change again, unless it would be to add someone GREAT to the roster, and NOT to take anyone from it again...

This was my favorite song of Nightwish back when I started listening to them and it still is now, many years later when Floor brought me back to them.
That entire show at Wacken 2013 (released live as Showtime, Storytime). You cannot go wrong with any song from that.
You could say that you are enthousiastic about this song @Elvann, but I guess that would be an understatement.
This live performance is just perfect.
Edema Ruh, Slaying the Dreamer (Bloodstock 2018), Gethsemane (Bloodstock 2018), Sagan (I’m sad it didn’t make the album 😭), Ghost River (Wacken 2013), Scaretale, Planet Hell (official live, from Floor’s first concert), The Poet and the Pendulum (Wembley of course 😂), Come Cover Me (Decades tour, maybe Bloodstock 2018). Honestly the Decades Live DVD cannot come out sooner. Oh and Last Ride of the Day Wacken 2013.

Valkyrie is the first word that ever came to my mind as well. She is amazing and absolutely commands the stage. Since you’re already familiar, it’s kinda useless, but I’ll give you my standard reaction response anyway..... 😏
12:12 the Floorgasm brings yet another convert to the family !! 😁 Welcome Sister. You’re one of us now. Just FYI, that’s about 70 minutes into the show and Floor had been killin’ it the whole way already. Also, that’s 82 THOUSAND people hanging on her every word; so, no pressure on her to Bury that (9 second long)high note.... At 6’1 and 170 pounds Floor is a smiling, singing, dancing, enchanting, stage commanding Valkyrie; and to me at least, a gift from above. Seeing the whole video of this concert, Especially the Floorgasm changed my life. It made me start listening to music again. I love watching these reaction videos and my biggest hope is that people follow and enjoy the Symphonic Metal path I was led to. Welcome to it.

One of my favourite things about Floor is that she can change styles (classical to rocky) in a split second. I rarely see that in singers and I adore it.

Als Floor's performances on the Dutch TV show Beste Zangers are highly recommended, especially Phantom of the Opera. She'll blow you away.

A few of my favorite performances with Floor are Sleeping Sun from Tampere in 2015, While Your Lips are Still Red from Wembly, The Poet and The Pendulum from Wembly, Storytime from Waken 2013, and Seven Days to the Wolves from Wembly 😉

I always hear people describe Nightwish as Symphonic Metal, and I guess that is accurate.. but I haven't yet heard anyone describe what I hear when I listen to them. They are a Progressive (Symphonic) Metal Band to my sensibilities. They are one of my all time favorite bands and I put them up on my (very crowded) Mt. Rushmore of rock bands along with the likes of Pink Floyd, Rush, Yes, Metallica, Queensryche and Dream Theater. This song, along with Song of Myself are my all time favorites, and the entire Wacken 2013 concert with Floor is one of the best concerts I have ever seen recorded!
