About the comment "Floor please never leave Nightwish"... she was on a Dutch radio program yesterday and the interviewer asked her about the huge success she's having in the Netherlands, the solo concerts, Beste Zangers,etc. and he joked about if the other members of Nightwish were worried about her leaving the band because of that and she just answered: "They will never get rid of me, they can try their best, I'm staying!" 😁 😂
Yeah that was such a fantastic comment by her!!! 😊🤘🤘
If I'm not mistaken, Tuomas has basically said that if Floor were to ever leave, Nightwish would probably end.

Floor stage presence always incredible, and all the band member passion and energy in this performance was awesome.
I am loving that soooo much recognition is going to Nightwish. They deserve the love they are getting after so much hard work they put into everything.

@@ElvannReacts We're happy you have a different "take on things" with Nightwish and Floor. We understand about that. I myself came to Nightwish when Tarja was the singer and I came basically b/c of her operatic voice. When they fired her I quit watching and listening to Nightwish until Wacken 2013.
I saw a photo of Floor with Nightwish and I said to myself, "who is this big(6'1")beautiful woman and can she sing??" Well I found out very quickly she can and I've been watching and listening to their music ever since(nine years).
Floor Jansen is THE #1 Symphonic Metal singer in that genre. Only EPICA's Simone Simons comes close. But Floor has no problems with Tarja or Simone; she is very good friends with both of them and has sung with both in their concerts(by invitation).

Floor is hugely versatile singer, she can use her voice in so multitude of ways and that plays very well with the music of Nightwish.
saw them last december for the decades tour in birmingham uk, they did alot of the older stuff like The Carpenter, Stargazers, Devil and The Deep Dark Ocean, Slaying The Dreamer her version of Dead Boys Poem was awesome Floor never disappoints
I love this song and performance, it's an absolute banger.

Wow classic trained and just in love with Romanticide, you are full of surprises!! This and Ghost River are my answer to "Nightwish isn't a real metal band"..and after these play I say "Do you have Floor, when you do let me know!!" (LOL) Great reaction and explanation of why the differences between the versions you so love. Floor is the greatest song thief there is, anything and I mean any song she sings is never a cover, no it is the 2.0 Floor version and usually the one I remember and want to hear!!
As far as leaving Nightwish..never say never but not happening. She came back from burnout with this band and there is a special bond among them that you sense when they are on stage. It is like they are there for their own party and the crowd happens to crash it to listen in. The joy, excitement and lack of any real ego wars is a strong sign, besides they all get to scatter after a tour before the new album to do their side projects and anything else they have an interest in. Finally, who in Nightwish has the $%&^@# to tell Floor "YOUR FIRED" at this point there is no place on earth for anyone who even tried to do it to hide from the Nightwish army(LOL)!!!!

When I first heard this song/performance, I thought it was originally an Anette song because I couldn't even imagine Tarja's vocals carrying the same power and anger the lyrics demand. I checked out the original and it didn't change my mind.👍
It’s so fun and fantastic experiencing all these songs for the first time with you all over again 😁 The way everything evolved with Floor’s addition to Nightwish just enhanced everything that’s awesome about the band and I love seeing another fan discover that 😎

Dear Elvann, I love you're reaction's to the moon and back, and about Floor and Nightwish, yesterday she did sayon the radio that she never leave Nightwish because she feels that she belongs with them and feels that she have them as brothers she never had.
Yeah I heard that too. She even said that if they wanted to get rid of her they had to drag her away haha. No worries on this front, she wants to stay in Nightwish.

Really nice interview, mostly Tuomas can speak really freely about his ideas, feelings, memories. Also he says, that Floor will be the last vocalist, like others has mentioned here. But this is only in Finnish...

Another great reaction video, love how you compare Floor and the original songs, as many reactors don't know the originals. And I agree with the comment on the video! I hope Floor never leaves Nightwish, as they are now in an even better state than they were with Tarja.

As others already pointed out, that whole Wacken 2013 show is simply epic from start to finish.
Maybe "Dark Chest Of Wonders", "Ghost River", "Ever Dream" or "Storytime" next…? Floor is adding something very special and unique to every song she performs.
And btw I would definitely love to see you singing with your chest voice more often. You have a wonderful tone in your voice (even when you're just talking…) and I'm excited to see what you're coming up with next.
Listened both Tarja's and Floor's interpretations and, hearing your comments, thought about the song being a entity in evolution, achieving something new with each of its versions..

About Floor doing every song in her own style, I read a comment on one of Floor's Beste Zangers performance (I think Que Se Siente) that pretty much sums that up, saying: "When Floor sings your song, that's not your song anymore."
Everybody loves Romanticide!!! Now have you watched "Sing Meinen Song"? Floor worked hard on her German for that performance. She really slays on SMS as you will see!!

I think Emppu deserves way more recognition. He's the most underrated guitar player, I just love him. He always plays exactly what the song needs.

Ever Dream also at Wacken is another fantastic one, especially to see the differences in Floor's version, it tends to be overlooked quite a bit. I was really surprised at how well it worked, considering that Ever Dream has always felt like THE song that was made for Tarja in its entirety. I'd love to hear what you think about it, and hear how amazing the short parts marco has in it are :)

This is so much better than original. The power Floor has and since she joined - their duets with Marco is so perfect, the chemistry between their voices is one of the biggest imo changes to Nightwish. They are perfect together.
Thanks for this reaction, Elvann. That glissando at the end, what I always called 'that note' until you gave me the correct term for it, is just amazing. I see that John Van Son already commented that in a radio interview Floor responded to a question of if she would leave Nightwish basically by saying "They won't get rid of me that easily!" :) (I paraphrase of course!
Once you get through the Wacken 2013 concert, if you want to see Floor do something a bit different, try Yours is an Empty Hope. Listen carefully to the chorus!

To be perfectly honest, I've listened to Floor's version of Romanticide so many times that I can't for the life of me remember how the original sounds.

I think the whole Wacken 2013 concert is as close as perfect as humans can go. My love for Nightwish started with Ghost Love Score when a friend put that into my ears. The famous Floor-gasm at the end of Ghost Love Score in Wacken 2013 is... yeah. That's just wow. And she dominates all the other songs as well.

I totally agree with your opinion regarding the way Floor takes a great song and makes it her own. It would be a disservice to Tarja and Annette to simply copy their versions. Floor is so amazing how she uses her operatic sound, dynamic range, and sheer belting power to create emotional and exciting renditions of these older Nightwish songs. I would like to hear some of your performances if they are available to check out? Also I would love to see and hear your reaction to one of my Favorite old Nightwish songs. Ever Dream from Wacken 2013? By the way you are so much fun to watch react! Beautiful and such a wonderful personality. Peace and love!

Recently Floor did a radio interview coming off the end of doing Beste Zangers where they asked her if she would leave Nightwish cause she's so famous and can do her own things, and she said something along the lines "yeah no, Nightwish couldn't get rid of me if they tried (because she loves the band so much)" (You can see the translated interview on YT)
Floor takes that long slide to places it has never been.
Love your reactions, Elvann! I love Floor and Nightwish, I too always loved Tarja as well, I go back to very early 2000s when I discovered Nightwish. I appreciate and love both of them! I have to say what Floor Jansen has done with these older songs is phenomenal, I think she's without parallel. I'm hoping you will consider reacting to 'Winner' from Beste Zangers, imo it was her best performance of that show. Thanks for making these reaction videos!
