I was having this same issue with mine, a 2014 Chevy Equinox. Replaced the map sensor with the part number you suggested and was still getting the p2227 code. No Vaccum Leaks, Clean Air Filter, New MAF and new MAP sensors. Had me stumped. Took it to the shop and they couldn't get it to go away - they did a diagnostic and a throttle body reset. I suspected it was the throttle body. Tried cleaning it, no luck. Replaced the throttle body and the throttle body connector and BINGO! code went away!!!! On these vehicles the TPS is integrated with the throttle body, so if the TPS is failing, you would have to replace the Throttle body. Took me weeks to figure this out.
Awesome videos bro!!! I first watched your focus starter removal. Because im swapping a transmission in my 09 focus. You have great content. You really know what you’re talking about. Keep up the good work!!
@BenitoVargas-n7r mass air flow sensor is always between the air box and throttle body. manifold absolute pressure sensor is usually on manifold intake near throttle body. It could be different depending on the make and model of vehicles
Where is the MAP sensor location on a 2019 Chevy Cruze? Nobody on YT has changed a MAP sensor for my model. Its always the older model Chevy Cruze. Thanks in advance!
What are BOTH sensors called that are right beside each other? The black one and the blue one? They look exactly the same in a way. I know the blue one is from The dealer but do they have different numbers or names?
The barometric sensor will have a different code. That's the blue sensor next to the map sensor, if you have one. Did you purchase the map sensor at the dealership with the vin, if not. I would do that first. If you did that already, I would test the harness that connects to it.

Great video. But could you tell me where the barometric pressure sensor/ map is located on a 2008 s80 Volvo. We just cannot find it.
Hello, same issue here did you find it ?

Also, make sure u have the correct plug on the correct sensor. They use the same exact plug for both sensors
that is my exact question, which one goes to which ?
U never showed the location?
If I replaced the map sensor cleared the code an it keeps coming back what should my next steps be ?
Test your harness, going to the sensor.
After replacing that sensor was that Code P2227 still there or disappeared?
@@TonyWhite-w3x disappeared
Would you recommend ordering from the GM Parts Store since they can verify through the VIN?
That would work.
Which one is the map sensor?

Which motor do you have? 1.8 or 1.4 turbo
I have 1.4 with same code

Black is called (MAP sensor) blue is called ( barometric sensor)
No the blue one is the map sensor
What year is the vehicle
@@07macys 2011
What year and engine size is this Chevy Cruze?
2011 with the 1.4 turbo
Will this work for a Volvo 2002 s60?
I'm not sure I haven't had the opportunity to work on a Volvo. Sensors aren't expensive it wouldn't hurt to buy one, if you think that's the problem.
Audio in the video was great easy to understand you but never really showed the general location or even what vehicle u was working on
@@rj9439 2011 I believe this will work up to a 2016.
I changed both but they’re still popping up , if you could help , I’d greatly appreciate it .

There’s only 1 Sensor. MAP sensor.
@@MikeJones-yd9kfno there is 2 sensor
