Oh man, my dream car oddly enough was a Ford flex, but I always thought they looked dated but I absolutely love how spacious they felt inside. This is literally perfect in it's place
The best MPVs in the world are the Li Auto Mega, Zeekr 009 and Xpeng X9. They already completely decimated the Toyota Alphard, Mercedes V class and Vellfire. Now it seems Geely wants to compete more with itself and the MPV space is getting crazy busy with the Denza D9 and L380 entering the space. I feel like this one also has a very niche feel to it in that it carries 8 passengers. I much prefer the interesting quirks of the other vehicles. Mega can make a bed and combined seat configurations as well as being the quietest and best for screens with the lost comfy seats with 11 minutes to charge 500km. Quietest and softest ride on earth based on every real measurement comparison. Zeekr and Xpeng both have the 4D movie seats. Xpeng has the zero gravity seats and 21” TV with a very low price and very cool third row folding design. 70km/h + on moose test and best self driving software. Zeekr 009 basically makes second row feel like prince and has that stupid fast 3.9 seconds to 100 speed along with being able to charge 500km in just under 11 minutes. I’m not sure what this car has that makes it unique aside from the 8 seats.
I want to see them have a full range of Vehicles. An affordable city car, a super mini, a crossover similar in size to the Tesla model Y, a crossover similar in size to the Model X, & a full range of vans that cover all segments that the Transit family covers.
We used to have a 2001 Renault Grand Espace. If it had been even remotely reliable, it would've been the perfect car. The space and interior versatility was unreal and that behemoth was a mere 4.5m long. This LEVC is over 5m. Who needs a house?
WOW 3,600Kg !!! that's one heavy thing at least you can still drive it under standard license, AU-4,500kg limit, It looks very nice inside, outside looks a bit featureless it has that blobby look.
At frist glance, it looks like a Japanese kei-car. Good looking for the format. Interesting fact, the London cabs are importable to the US, and are one of the only handicap-accessible cars that can take a wheelchair from the factory.
The one thing that EV's have widely neglected, it is wheelchair users. My 2 litre petrol, Jeep Wrangler, 4x4 is so much more useful for me, as a wheelchair user. I have space for a fixed frame chair and a large powered add-on wheel. Most importantly, I have space for a hoist, to lift it in and out. My first EV is a Hyundai Ionic 5. No space for the original electric power wheel, but I have been able to buy a smaller travel wheel, which I can just about squeeze in, with the wheelchair. Being able to move the rear seats forwards a few inches gave me just enough space. But no hoist, so I have to balance precariously while loading the car, then grab the car, while I shuffle around to the driver's seat. The only vehicle that actually met my needs was the VW ID Buzz. I could have got a hoist in it, but, the cost was ridiculous for something with such short range. This *could* be the answer to many wheelchair users needs. A hoist? A ramp? A winch? And at an affordable price? It would be great if occasionally reviewers popped a fixed frame wheelchair into the boot of a vehicle that is being reviewed, rather than simply suitcases.
I found a kerb weight of 3130kg (full load mass of 3620kg). I also found a kerb weight of 2805kg for the RWD. Can you confirm? Even at 3130kg, it's a hefty thing!
It wasn’t in the press specs so I looked at the manufacturer’s tag on the inside of the door…not sure if it’s kerb weight as it was all in Chinese - but either way, as you say it’s quite hefty!
Sorry - but the title was misleading. There is literally nothing First Class about the design, specs or tech. Yamaha speakers are not exactly high end…and I don’t see anything that gives off private jet vibes.
Nothing better than the Xpeng X9, except a few millimeters larger back door ? Really, how much? And for which price, as it is more expensive than the much better X9, equiped with serious technologies like XNGP... Do you need a private driver to move 5 persons? With Head Up Display the ADAS is bellow level 4, not the X9.
Lol like what car? 😂 Wulling doesn't sell in europe. Evs under 20k€ don't exist in eu! Even the trash dacia spring or fiat 500e is around 40k€. A Chinese ev that sells even for double the price in the eu is still better value that the embarrassing citroen or peugeot alternative
I doubt the Chinese care at all of what you think. When they value and respect someone's opinion, it's usually practical, constructive and not blah blah blah baloney.
Love this L380 ! Not enough ground clearance? Do this L380 have adjustable air suspension that can adjust much more higher ground clearance for driving on some rough outdoors country roads? 😍😉💖🚐💖⚡️🔋🌞🌏✌️
The luxury executive ev airport limo we didn’t know we needed.
Merc Vito?...
@@toyotaprius79 This L380 makes Merc Vito looks like a indian taxi lol
@@reganyeung Laughed so hard at this

대박 전기차였어~ 쩐다~ 무조건 한국에 가져와야 한다~^^ 그리고 탑승객을 위한 전동발판이 있음 좋겠네요

Now this is a vehicle the new UK PM needs to be driven around in 😂
Fantastic review Elliott! 🎉
And don’t forget Sadiq khan 🔥

I’m sure that’s part of their plan
Looks good reminds me of Hyundai Staria😊😊
Geely is doing great job with EVs and brands that they acquired
Which part is the staria?
Thats a very Aston Martin badge on the bonnet

I came here to say the same thing. The Grand Espace was amazing. The last one I had was so far ahead of its time. It is a shame its not around
It's always good to have a spare room😊
For once they haven't put a huge tasteless wall of chrome on the front; top marks fro that alone!
😂
200 watts per kg is getting close to 500 watts per kg?
This thing will replace the V-Class Benz in London
if the announced price range holds? 100%.
380 rings a bell❤😂
I Love it!!! Lamentably I will never get here in the USA due to the Trade War between the USA and China.......
No sabía que se podía decir lamentably

well the battery itself is probably 800-900kg lol on Wikipedia it says curb weight is little bit above 2800kg so idk which information should i take
I’ve been really hoping that you would review this vehicle.
Im sure the first time i will see one of these in the wild it will have cut me up and have an Addison Lee sticker plastered on the back window! 😂
3:58 😂 its not cool when your wheel slams into the wheelwell after going through undulations
Wow. I wish there was a more modest price range one, as I don't need all that luxury stuff. But wow indeed.
Matae, that rear door needs to go up like a garage door, not extend out yet another meter behind.
Sorry Elliot but "200Wh/kg" isn't "Close to 500Wh/kg"
It's actually less than the CATL Shenxing Plus (212Wh/kg)
Heading in the right direction, it was 140wh/kg just a short time ago
How come this isn't on FC?
Hahaha. Named to be an Airbus A380 of the road?
This is a Mandarin (cowtau ones) inspired car- luxury is the goal, bringing first class airline passenger amenities is the means,

Are you still with Fully Charged?
Yes I am - just exploring other niche areas with EVs in China.
AMAZING!!! Such a pity that there's swingeing USA/China trade tariffs. Nth American market world eat this up!
I believe that LEVC should think how to make the TX5 more practical, like sliding doors and a big cargo space in the back
*lol* with that weight you'd need a truck licence to drive it here... 3.5 t is the max. for cars
EU? not anymore with heavy ev's
It’s 4.25 t if it’s an EV on a regular drivers licence.
@@commuterbranchline8132really? When did that happen?
I’m lucky, I’m old so my licence says 4.5 tonnes 😂
Lol what makes you think they want to sell this car in Europe?
It is car from Geely
Dude all laptop have foot grip or rubber pad at the bottom
Let me guess.
It's gonna cost as much as an actual Jet?
Top spec less than 70usd
