Yes I wanted to make some backgrounds because i didnt have anything i liked in my stash, and then a lot of products i saw to make your own involved those complex tools which, also stress me a bit. Pleased this works so well!
I absolutely LOVE this idea! This is the first technique I’ve seen that gets my creative juices flowing to use all those teeny stamps included with many stamp sets. I think I’ll do this today! Thanks especially for the tip about the difference in stamp heights. Brilliant! 😊
What a great technique. I never use square cards but this works for rectangles circles. Whatever you want. It can certainly cut into strips. It all works.
Brilliant! I had to laugh; after the second example of using the stamp platform to add color, I understood, BUT it was sooooo satisfying watching you complete the process (I usually jump ahead). 😆🥰 Thanks for the tips!!
Wow, so many different styles you can make from this technique, thank you. I imagine all leaves, all geometrics, all flourishes, looking forward to trying it.
Somehow I missed this video🤷🏻♀️ but just watched Christine Stokes and she sent me here. This is a great technique. I love how you took some of the stamps & colored the template and then stamped just those stamps and colors and then moved on to the next color. Thanks for sharing Sasha
Love this technique! I immediately went and tried it out using craft stamps (scissors, glue, Ruler, etc.) to make pages to use on graduation cards. Thanks for the idea and inspiration!
Honestly speaking, I bypassed this video a couple times with the intent to not watch it. It’s my short attention span that caused me to not look at it. I am so glad that I did ! I truly enjoyed every variation of the backgrounds you made and I plan on using the techniques applied. ❤❤❤ what you did.
Oh im so pleased you stopped to watch. And thank you for taking the time to drop me a comment as well, i really appreciate it. Hope you stick around for more videos :)
Wow! You're so Smart Sasha! I would've never thought to make my own turn about stamp. 🤔 Thank you for Always sharing your Awesome ideas with us. 😊 Have a Blessed Day My Sweet Friend.
Great technique & I appreciate that you still use your old Tim Holtz stamping platform instead of pushing a Misti down our throats. I have that TH platform too (I know it was very quickly discontinued for copyright issues... But it still works)... Been on the fence for years about getting a Misti.... But do I REALLY need one?? Obviously not!! Thanks for another great video Sasha! ❤... Now to make a chopstick picker-upper... 😊
Awesome idea!! I am going to try this with some distress inks - then water activate them for watercolor effect - then restamp with embossing glue and try some distress glazes. Might not work - but your "thinking outside the box" brought this all to mind. Thank you Sasha. Wonderful video.
Wow, Sasha! What a great technique! I've made backgrounds in the past, just stamping individual stamps all over my paper, but I never liked the results. I have NO desire to get one of those fancy turnaround gizmos. It gives me a headache just watching the experts use them. This looks so easy and gives such nice results. Liked, subscribed. 😊
I was feeling the same way. i actually bought one once and never used it cause it stressed me out, and then i thought it would just make the same background every single time which would be a bit boring. Love this method when you can change it up
Sasha, you must have read my mind!!🤣I was just thinking about how to use my small stamps!! This was so very helpful!! Just love your card!! Thanks so much!!
I need to get back into embossing powders. I still have oodles of them. Something to do in my retirement next year! As always your cards and backgrounds are so beautiful!! ❤
Thank you, Sasha for sharing that great Idea with us. I love it and I'll use this placefiller stamps which I'll never know what to do with them. Greetings 😅
Hi Sasha. What a fabulous technique. You are so clever. I want some small stamps now lol. Even though I haven't been able to craft for a while. Sending love and hugs. ❤❤❤
I saw so many tutorials for ones close to the originals on the market, but really felt stressed out by them and needed something much simpler. Im so happy with how this turned out
That silver on the black is gorgeous
Love this technique, and it's a lot cheaper than buying a turn- about jig!
Yes! so much cheaper. and you can use whatever stamps you like
Amazing work as always Sasha! Xx
Thank you Hannah ;)
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much
Great technique thank you x
Thank you so much
Love results from a neat technique
Thank you Bev ;)
Great way to use those itty bitty stamps that we often overlook. TFS.
Another great technique.thank you.
Thank you
So good Sasha! There are so many platform/turnabout products out now and they all seem too mathematical for me! This idea is perfect.
Yes I wanted to make some backgrounds because i didnt have anything i liked in my stash, and then a lot of products i saw to make your own involved those complex tools which, also stress me a bit. Pleased this works so well!
How clever….I’m definitely going to try that!
Thank you so much

I love this! I generally think the little stamps are cute, but I wind up ignoring them. This gives me a great technique for them. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, exactly, this is fab for those little ones and making use of them. Often they're so super cute, but never have a clue what to do with them
Love this technique! I immediately went and tried it out using craft stamps (scissors, glue, Ruler, etc.) to make pages to use on graduation cards. Thanks for the idea and inspiration!
