A suggestion: Instead of placing your strips on the lower right side of the envelope, you might want to put them on the upper right or elsewhere. The post office always prints a bar code on the lower right, and the strips would interfere with that. You could end up 😅😊
Oh gosh i didnt even think about that!!!! I guess these ones will be for hand delivery. Good point. Next time i need to grab some post and just look at it so i make sure i pay attention to all the extra stuff that goes on with it. Im going to pin your comment to the top if that's ok so hopefully people see this! thank you for sharing
Wow that is a lot of cards. I must admit, I was pretty impressed at how you used all those different patterns together. I would be in analysis paralysis with all those designs. Thanks for sharing.
Not that I don't have more paper crafting than I will use in my lifetime, BUT this inspires me on so many levels. Enabler alert- clearance 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 paper pads!! Lol 🤣🤣
Great ideas for the paper pads I kept putting aside as they were a little too busy for me. More snow coming here later today. Pretty nasty driving last night🇨🇦
I just loved the whimsical floral paper pad with the bright colors! Your cards all turned out just fantastic! I use every little skinny strip I cut off of backgrounds I’ve made and cut down too! Another great place for a skinny strip from the paper or background on the front panel is in the middle of the inside of the card. I like to bring an element from the front to the inside and envelope so it flows together. I’ve also used those skinny strips on the edge of the envelope to make it match with a coordinate stamp or die. How I loved your strips cards! I couldn’t even pick a favorite! But truthfully, I’d get that same pack, sit down and be blank! I never know what to do with paper that has busy patterns and colors! Loved this video! Going in my library! Thank you!
Awe thank you so much for your kind words and all your extra inspiration. Some clever great ideas! I think im going to have to do another video in the future of even more ideas
@@SashaReade you are certainly overflowing with them! I have yet to do the photo paper and I’m so darned excited about it! I am on a very restricted income because I lost my leg at 45 from a car accident 12 years ago. So I thought the food coloring was great to save on reinkers. But can I ask your personal opinion? Do you think it’s really worth the extra $10 or do you not use that much ink anyway? I have a lot of oxides and reinkers for all and CP inks with refills. I just need to be very frugal with money but I’m just dying to try it! And I put that paper pad in my wishlist! Thk u!
Oh Sasha! This was inspiring, but scary as a paper hoarder! 🤣 Thanks for sharing your great tips, and beautiful cards. Yep, Paper Rose does have amazing paper pads!! 🤩🥰💜🥰👍🏾
As always, I love your videos that you don’t have to have a ton of supplies to make something effective. And I always love videos cutting up that paper that we hoard. I did want to mention the position of the scraps that you used on the envelopes. Here in the US, that corner is considered the clear area for the barcoding. Of course you can decorate the envelope there but it may slow down in the mail stream. And I just wanted to mention it I do know for balance they looked great but for mailing it’s not a good idea to have anything in the lower half-inch towards the right side of the envelope.
Amazing! All unique and beautiful and fun. Sometimes we forget to look in our scrap pile to see what we can do. Or use up a paper pad we have stuck in a drawer and forgotten about. Well done! ❤from 🇨🇦
Oh, I LOVE that paper pad, and what you did with it. So much inspiration, so many ideas, so many beautiful cards. I enjoy everything you do, but I think this is my favourite of them all.
Oooo! Love the colors/ patterns in that pad! Love.using my.dies.on vinyl! I have a truck die, and that eggshell vinyl looks really neat with that. I've made some neat guy cards with 'vinyl' trucks. I put the vinyl on scrap cardstock, then I cut it out. The finished edge looks really neat, when the vinyl is pressed down around all edges.
Fabulous! Except for one thing, now I want holographic paper, dies, and die cutting machine. (Shocker, I don’t have those. I’ve been on a 16 yr hiatus. 😳) I’m supposed to be using what I have, not getting more! 🤭🤣
WOW......Simply, WOW! You always come up with such Fantastic ideas, Sasha. 😊 Amazing cards. Thank you for sharing, my Friend. Blessings to you and your family. 😊
I love your channel, Sasha because you create your own "patterned" papers to use but you also use mass produced patterned papers to create cards with (like here). I love both sorts of videos because I'm just as addicted to creating my own art from scratch and using commercially available papers and embellishments. If it's attractive to me then I will use it. I also love you tips and tricks, your use of holographic sticky backed vinyl here was inspired!
I absolutely love this paper pad. I’ve never seen bright patterned paper before. This is so my jam. Thanks for sharing the one sheet wonder ideas with us. I’m really into the idea of using up paper like this because I have so much. Would love to see more Sasha if you can. Thanks so much.
Wow! Thats some "stash use up" session. Thanks Natasha, definately food for thought. With prices going ever upwards we all need to use every last scrap.
Greeting cards have become so expensive, your cards are absolutely beautiful. It takes imagination and artistic flair to make these cards. Kudos to you.
For the card top you needed ideas for: Make it 2 cards by cutting diagonally. A larger feature from top down, stamp or place die cut sentiment on plain lower portion. 2nd card has smaller portion which can either be on top or bottom allowing longer, mire conversational sentiment, e.g.., Thank you for being a friend. You inspire me.
yes what an awesome idea! There are just so many layouts you can do, i think i'll be doing another one of these videos again in the future with even more ideas.
I'm so happy I found your channel! You are SO creative, and I've watched a few of your videos so far and my head is swimming with just the most wonderful ideas! Thank you! 💜
These are lovely … i haven’t even finished watching the whole video yet! 😬 The paper pads look shiny … are they? I love a bit of shine on the front of cards which is why I’ve got hooked on using glossy photo paper - thanks to you 😊
yes the paper is a bit shinny, but it's like it's more so so smooth it's shinny rather than it being a gloss. I love the quality of the paper, it feels very high quality and so nice to work with. Thank you so much for the lovely compliments
A suggestion: Instead of placing your strips on the lower right side of the envelope, you might want to put them on the upper right or elsewhere. The post office always prints a bar code on the lower right, and the strips would interfere with that. You could end up 😅😊
Sorry, I hit a couple of wrong keys. You could end up with undeliverable mail, or it could get caught in their high-speed sorting equipment.
In the US, the stamps go in the upper right corner.
I just reread my comment. I meant to put the strips on upper LEFT or elsewhere. Oops. Thanks, Dawn.
Great ideas tfs
Simple, yet genius tip to use stamping pad to line up card and panel so you get it attached correctly and easily. Love it! 🎉
Wow that is a lot of cards. I must admit, I was pretty impressed at how you used all those different patterns together. I would be in analysis paralysis with all those designs. Thanks for sharing.
Very beautiful cards, well done. It’s amazing what you can do with the leftovers. Nothing gets wasted.❤😊
Not that I don't have more paper crafting than I will use in my lifetime, BUT this inspires me on so many levels. Enabler alert- clearance 6 x 6 or 8 x 8 paper pads!! Lol 🤣🤣
I love how you used all the scraps too!
Amazing use of paper and the scraps of the scraps of the scraps! 😁
Thank you so much, i really wanted to see how far i could get with that paper pad :)
I use those little scraps on the inside. gives inside some color without taking away from the place to write
Oh that's a great idea!
Omg I love that paper but I especially love the cards you created with this paper pad. Amazing as always Sasha.
Absolutely awesome video with so many wonderful cards! xxx💖💖💖
Great ideas for the paper pads I kept putting aside as they were a little too busy for me. More snow coming here later today. Pretty nasty driving last night🇨🇦
Gorgeous cards Sasha! That's a lovely paper pack & you made the most of it,even the scraps. Tfs.😊
Ha ha yes i wanted to see how far i could push it and how many cards i could get :)
We love Paper Rose patterned paper/card too!
Just lovely cards! I have been doing this for bday cards…it’s just fun👍🏻

yes i think it's hard to be a paper crafter and not be a paper hoarder at the same time... I know i am!
Absolutely gorgeous!

I’m sorry I missed this live last night. I’m watching the replay
Loved them all but the panel and banner ones were my fav...need to stop hoarding my paper pads! Xx
Amazing! All unique and beautiful and fun. Sometimes we forget to look in our scrap pile to see what we can do. Or use up a paper pad we have stuck in a drawer and forgotten about. Well done! ❤from 🇨🇦
