Thank you! If you are on about the black bits at the bottom you can always pull them under and inside and peg down in the colder/wetter months. We just find it better to peg on the outside on grass in summer months when this was recorded. We also use a draft skirt across the bottom of the van which you can see at the beginning of the video.
We have the 325 version of that awning. It’s a good, lightweight awning and is so easy to put up. It withstood some strong gusts of wind on our recent trip to Cornwall too.
Agreed, we had some pretty strong gusts off the hills where we were when this was filmed and it was excellent! We also have the canopy version which we use virtually all the time. That is also very, very good, but after a real mixed bag of weather in Cumbria recently decided we really needed another option to close up from the elements more!

Hi great vid, we've just ordered one, due to arrive tomorrow, its to replace our kampa awning which wieghs a ton, can i ask does it come with the roof poles as not really clear on the site we bought ours from, im guessing it wont come with the rear upright poles but we'll just use the kampa ones, oh one last thing can you attach storm straps to it ? Sorry for all the questions but hardly any vids apart from yours on this awning, cheers Mick 👍
Hi Mick, Thanks for watching. Our is an older version which we got off Marketplace from a older couple who had used it once before having their van stolen and then downsizing. However I've checked with a friend who has the same awning but a newer model (year wise) and his came with 3 roof poles (there are more pockets for up to 5 I believe from memory) No, they don't come with the upright poles you can see if your Kampa ones fit. We had to buy some Universal ones as we had sold ours with our older heavy awning) Again, I believe the newer models do have the storm strap attachments but our version doesn't. So again I guess it depends which model year you've actually ordered. Remember, though this is what Sunncamp call a weekend short use awning, generally for May to September use. Saying that we've took some fair old winds in ours and it's not budged a bit! All the very best! Gem, Ray & Kodi

Hi I've just bought the same awning, I find it fits poorly at the caravan side IE doesn't go all the way to the ground is it something I'm doing wrong ? Standard caravan drop down.
