It so handy to have especially if it's raining can leave wet shoes and coats out there... Spent ages cleaning up all the mud in doorway just had a big mat there now all clean x
"When we get home no more beer" Judy, March 2023.... Mark is a smiling. Looks lovely now, summer is coming. You two are a real credit to that great site. I do not caravan but it is interesting information.
Hi you two lovelys I think it looks very nice looks big inside, thanks for vblogs all ways nice to see u both spring is here this wk daffodils all out n sunshine .
We have this exact awning, I have an array of awnings from Dometic to expensive Isabella. Yes its thin and probably wont last as long as the more expensive ones, but for weight and speed to put up it is just great and we use it most of the time unless on a long stay and then use a full one. The biggest plus is that it dries extremely quickly if you do have to put it away wet or damp. I love it....
Never saw your old awning but this is lovely. You can sit out in all weathers, drinkies any time lol. Seriously any space extra is welcomed. enjoy it lovelies xx
Grand to see you again……let’s hope you don’t have too many, if any, challenges with your new awning. Looking forward to further vlogs although we know you will be very busy.
You just never know how an awning will stand up first time we put up our Dorema awning it was flapping over top of caravan in strong winds! But it went on to do several years but gone brittle now so had to go x
Awww great to see you both. The Awning looks fab, it's so cozy inside isn't it. Bet its lovely when it rains, and you can look outside. 😊 "Mark and his beer oclock" 😂😂 xx
Your new awning is the same as our weekends one ,they are surprisingly very strong in decent winds . I would get a couple of storm straps over it though . Also you will probably have to top the air up now and again .We have a seasonal caravan in Cornwall and are allowed to leave a seasonal poled awning up from April to September but not an air awning . We only use our air awning from September to April . But with you being on site all the time I suppose it doesn't matter . But I'd set to put some storm straps over it .😁😁👍👍
It is very special... All natural not man made and manicured.. rustic good ole fashioned camping... People love it well mostly someone wasn't impressed there was no clubhouse 😂 x
Good to see you on home ground! Mark did a sterling job there putting the awning up, I could not have done it lol, instruction manuals are a nightmare in my eyes! Looks pretty busy there already going by the caravans, I'll guess you'll have a busy Easter with the weather behaving itself until at least Sunday. Take care both of you. x
Thanks Simon it was a lot easier to put up than the other one. Fairly busy the new cafe opens today so it’s a fab time at Kennexstone history being made x
Kev we saw that you were in Amsterdam will get there one day! Tenerife seems like a distant memory now… seems we will be having a Benidorm trip in October ..Antony is pushing for it 😆 going to be a busy summer the madness of Easter starts today… meanwhile Marks still asleep thank god we don’t start work till lunch time 🤣 xx
Thank you for the vidéo judy and mark 👍 We also have an air awning à kampa 260 and we are very happy with it. I think your awning looks quiet cheap...i dont think it will Last very long. Big kisses to you both 😊
Was that a awning vlog it wasn't that bad it kept me awake, are you prefering it to your old one is the air filled tubes a game changer. I thought of a daft question recently to ask you. You say you work 6months of the year then take 6months off. In the period you work do you ocrew any holiday entitlement ie paid holiday leave. I was in garden maintenance for four years I got paid same wage for 52weeks of the year but I wasn't allowed any holiday days off between March & October. Though I only worked two weeks in November & February & only one week in December & one week in January. So that wasn't too bad effectively getting paid ten full weeks paid holiday. So basically I sacrificed my summer vacation for 6 weeks extra pay, but it worked out better because we sometimes got rained off in summer fully paid.
He doesn't need a bottle opener for cans but he's got a few .. Airfryer from his daughters for Christmas a smoothie maker not used yet 😂 and our good old halogen oven x
We've had lots of tents and few awnings over the years some expensive some not. all been good and lasted but it depends on the weather at the time if you have a bad storm with any make it's not going to end well x
No don’t not bother biggest load of rubbish can’t take sun or storms get good old fashioned steel poles… Suncamp are terrible no idea how there still in business x
It didn't take long to adjust going long stay abroad is so different to 2 weeks... Dare I say it it was nice to come home and get back to work... We have the most amazing job with a lovley family x
I have a air awning and was wondering what strom straps you use if any? I can't find any that fit, without buying the universal ones which need to be modified to my awning.
Hi … we thought of that same issue too re storm straps. We do get strong winds here so hence we thought we’d give the air awning a try instead of poles.. got enough dents on side of the caravan from poles and wind. It will be a perfect test that we can report on through the season to all interested and see what the awning is like by September x
@@gypsysoulsjudymark.escapet7388 Ah sorry is that an Irish thing ,mainly your just funny to watch .you have no heirs or graces about you and are normal so that's why people follow you so getting through your videos ,shame you cancelled lanzarote but maybe cheaper tinnies for mark and it might be a goer again 🍺🍺😀😀😀😀😀😀
Arh thanks... We are still going to Lanzarote after Christmas just not before.. However we will be off somewhere before Xmas but doing a last minute to see if we can get a better deal xx
Is the new awning wind proof ? Me and Margaret were there when we had 70 mph winds. Thought the caravan was going to tip over. Good luck for the new season ❤

No we didn’t use storm straps for this awning x
Saying that storm straps would probably have no effect as there are no poles to pull it tight over .Best of British !😁😁👍👍

Supposedly air awnings are better in the wind so we shall see... Hopefully no more wind 🤔 x
Awnings eh? We need one but they are a pain
They are fine for weekends but great for 4 months x
Never forget Marc is an engineer right ? I also read manuals before doing something. Also engineer here.
He was a computer engineer but yes a stickler for instructions 🤨
Do you miss the canaries
No not at the mo having fun back at work and saving up x
You do realise it's inside out . Mark should know by now nobody reads the instructions until after the job is complete.
