Remember a fitted sheet goes OVER a mattress topper so your topper will not be as fluffy; and after you do there's no easy way to fluff it up again except remove fitted sheet and put back over it again. If you use the topper without a sheet you'll be washing your topper as often as a sheet which will wear it out. The solution is to have a removable cover for the topper to wash that instead of having to wash the entire topper feathers et al.
First, thank you for an informative video! Second, a question if you don't mind: I am looking for a mattress topper for hip pain, but one that feels fluffy and luxurious. Any tips for particular brands? Thanks
Is this the softest mattress topper? If not, recommendations please? My husband and I purchased a Purple mattress, but we got the firmness level to his preference, now my back is hurting. Please help and thank you 😊 😊😊
Thank you for your expertise. I am looking to soften up and brand new extra extra extra firm mattress. I purchase the extra extra firm mattress due to I have lower back pain but because I am a side sleeper I want to soften the mattress with a mattress topper. My main question is should I go for an extra thick extra thick goose down or should I go for a extra thick foam topper possibly latex because I live in Texas
I would like to see COOP HOME GOOD topper similar to this in their "Retreat" topper, 5" loft baffle box design, with shredded memory foam fill... I am really interested in that one, but haven't found any reviews on here as its relatively new.
This sounds like the perfect mattress topper for me, however, it is a bit out of my price range. What would your next best recommendation be for something as close to this as possible, but a little cheaper? Thanks in advance! -Crystal
Can you make a personal recommendation on a more budget friendly option? Something that is a 'fluffy' down feather mattress topper similar to the Parachute brand?
Do you have any recommendations for a natural mattress topper that provides good pressure relief for side sleepers with allergies? I’m looking for a topper to add to my new Zenhaven mattress to help soften it up. I’d love it if the topper had a pillow top feel since that’s the previous mattress I had. Thanks!
Hi! This sounds like it would be a great option as a topper for me (side sleeper, Mattress is too firm), but I am allergic to feathers. Do you have any recommendations for something similar that is down alternative?
I am in the market for a Featherbed/topper. I am torn between the Pacific Coast Hotel Deluxe Baffle box featherbed & the Parachute Down mattress topper. Big sighs. Does anyone have any experience with Pacific Coast feather beds? They say the luxurious hotels use them. Anyone?
Hello, I’m I side sleeper who loves a fluffy hotel feel. I have ankle, hip and back injury. What do you recommend for a topper. Also any mattress recommendations?
Hi Martin, Im hoping the Parachute feather bed would solve the issue I’m having with my tempurpedic mattress. I don’t really have any support below my knees and past my elbows. I always have to rest my arms on pillows when I sleep on my side or bunch up my comforter under my straight leg when sleeping on my stomach. Do you think the fluffy feel of this feather bed will last for a couple years?
Hello! I do think the fluffy feel is going to last for a while. However, based on your situation, you might want to look at a more supportive mattress topper. This is fluffy but it's not going to add a serious amount of comfort or support to your mattress. Overall, would you say your Tempur-pedic is too soft for you?
Mattress Clarity I think it is because my body sinks in to the point anything past my knees and elbows aren’t supported that well. Obviously my feet touch the mattress but I don’t have any support under my calf muscles. If I sleep on my side/stomach is difficult and it is my favorite sleeping position. I made a mistake when purchasing this mattress :(. Not sure how to fix
@@scienceolympiad389 Yeah, that sounds very uncomfortable. It sounds like you need something to firm up your mattress a bit. I would take a look at the Saatva mattress topper as a possible solution. It still has some of that soft feel, but it also has a firmer transition layer. It should add some support to your mattress. They also have 45 day return policy so you can try it out for a good amount of time.
Helpful video. I would have put a Lapel silk pajama on instead. For some reason you jumping on bed with jeans and shirt make me feel I will be itchy on this mattress topper. LOl but that’s just me. Thanks for the review.
Hey question (not sure if I’ll get an answer through the comments): to secure the down topper do you put a fitted sheet over it? And if you do how do you make sure it fits both the topper AND the mattress? Some sheets are quite snug and fitted without so would sizing up to a king from a queen be a good idea? I’m not sure what to look up sorry!
@orangeclawhammer777 I have not had a good experience using fitted sheets over top of down/feather toppers. They are snug and they compress the down too much and flatten it out, making it too firm and removes the fluff you want. Try a size up and a loose sheet that you can tuck in lightly. That was the only way it worked for me.
Late to the party here, but feather beds need regular fluffing. I recommend a separate fitted sheet just covering the featherbed. This gives you a nice sleeping surface, but allows you to fluff the featherbed without having to pull the fitted sheet off of the mattress.

Duvet cover should handle that
Good points!!
How do you make the bed with a topper do you put the sheet over the top or to protect it or a mattress topper protector to protect it?
How about the Down Alternative from this company?
First, thank you for an informative video! Second, a question if you don't mind: I am looking for a mattress topper for hip pain, but one that feels fluffy and luxurious. Any tips for particular brands? Thanks
I’m looking for the exact same thing!
How do you think this would compare to Parachute's down alternative option?
I have the same question. did you get a reply?
You tested this bed without the sheets on top?
how do you even make your bed with that? a fitted sheet over it?
The down won’t make you sleep hotter? I thought in a different review you mentioned that down would. So just making sure before purchasing.
Honestly you seem like a really cool guy. 😎
Hey, thanks Ian! You sound cool too.

We have heard good things about the Sweet Jojo feather topper!

Hello! I have not tried it myself, but I have heard great things about the Bluestone toppers. They are definitely more budget friendly than Parachute.

Cool, was wondering the same!
Really appreciate your help 👍🤠👍
Down vs wool topper.... Which is better? I would be putting this over a tempur-pedic 3” mattress topper.

Hey, did you happen to figure anything out? I’m looking for the same thing.
Which mattress /firmness were u lying on? Ultra firm, Firm, or medium firm?
I put a feather bed on top my gel memory foam topper... By midday I’m thinking I can’t wait to get home and in my bed!
you're a genius
Hi. Which one is better for sidesleeper? 30% down, 50% down, or 100% down?

What’s the best down topper for side sleeper?
Hello, I’m I side sleeper who loves a fluffy hotel feel. I have ankle, hip and back injury. What do you recommend for a topper. Also any mattress recommendations?
For toppers, I would consider something like the Avocado or Birch. For a mattress, I would take a look at WinkBeds or the Saatva.
Itd be nice if u mentioned why it doesn’t have any way to attach to the mattress. Isn’t it going to shift everywhere? No elastic straps or anything!

Mattress Clarity great! I’ll look into it! I only weigh 155 lbs so it’s crazy this mattress is too soft. Thanks for all the reviews btw!

Sir where can iget this in india??
Parachute is overpriced. I bought from Quince and love it.
Just see how down feather got collected
What about fill power and weight? You shouldnt make videos.

Does it gets hot while you sleep?
