When Izuku comes home to his mom, there are noticably 3 pairs of shoes lined up at the door way. So that might be symbolic of Izuku's dad being back from overseas.
The epilogue consisted of 8 chapters, that should have been. 1. Rebuilding and the worlds reaction 2. The dead and injured. 3. Villains epilogue. 4. Teachers and mentors. 5. Going back to school and the next generation. 6. School & friends. 7. Deku, his family and future. 8. A short glimpse into the future a larger scale. Or something like that.
I'm just glad they didn't do a cop out with One for All returning and having random pairings like we saw in Naruto's ending. But it does commit the sin that several shonen has done, which is a big timeskip epilogue happens but we only get one short chapter to find out what everyone's been doing.
Feel that Shigaraki was not utilised as much as he could have been. Especially since he was revealed to have been essentially a puppet of AFO even before he was born.
@@codafett I think for me it’s the fact that Deku tried so hard to save Shigaraki, and yet despite the fact Deku saw exactly why Shigaraki became a villain and that fundamentally he had no positive influence to give him any hope of turning him away from the path he went down, he still ended up dying.
@@CaptKami18 I thought it could be like with what ended up happening with Dabi. A conversation between Shigaraki and All Might when all was said and done would have been interesting
So I've seen some people in the community speculate that many villains at the end of the story stopped getting quite as much of development due to Horikoshi getting grilled by editors. The My Villain Academia really tarnished the Mangas sales and made his editors angry. So i think that made Horikoshi cut his ideas short with Shigaraki.
I stopped reading around the point where the anime is now.. personally I'm not surprised Hori laid off the romance given how toxic the MHA shipping community was 😂 the only ship in the series I genuinely rooted for was Kirishima X Mina

I could see deku as the guy in the earpiece. While the pro heroes are on the frontline, Midoriya's the tactical genius guiding them on the best course of action in a pinch
Deku's self sacrifice ended up being a mixed bag of messages. on one hand it got him recognized by allmight, it's the reason he was able to save people like eri and kota, and its how he beats shigaraki. but on the negative side he's constantly told self sacrifice will leave him broken and unable to save anyone. I get that the answer is self sacrifice in moderation but deku never had that. after the doctor warned him he faced no consequences from pushing his body even further and the solution to the final conflict involved him both using black whip to control his body when it was past its limits and sacrificing his quirk entirely. I'm left confused if deku learned his lessen because the story kept putting him in situations where it felt like breaking himself was his only real shot at winning or ignored the problem with Fajin/gearshift/tech
I am not a expert but acording the the final arc of Gintama, when you want to end your series in shonen jump you have to plan it and tell the magazine in advance, like months in advance, so that might be the problem with all these ending, the mangaka thinking that they can finish it in a set amout of chapter and then failing the math.
what this final chapter needed was this Gatchaman Crowds crowds quote “What the world needs is not stand out heroes, but the entire human race turned into heroes!”
The whole “group hug interrupts the intimate moment” thing is a gag you use when you have more story to tell. I really think he wanted Izuku to have a depressing bittersweet ending to reflect his overworked state of mind these days
If they wanted the story to be more realistic, I think they should have never given Deku a quirk in the first place and just made him similar to a batman esk character. The whole thing with All Might being 1 of the only 2 people in the entire history of Quirks being able to give Midoriya a quirk was a very non-realistic and very unlikely event that drew us in as readers just to have it get taken away at the end. If it was realistic at the beginning, it wouldve had a vastly different fanbase
The way I interpreted this ending was that Horikoshi wanted to get out as quickly as possible. I can only theorise why (unhealthy work schedule, stress, etc), but that's what it feels like to me. And while I'm disappointed with the ending, I say good for him for finishing a hugely popular series when he wanted to.
I'm sure that there was more that Hori wanted to do, but needed to wrap up the series for his own sake. Window is open for if he ever decides to make a continuation
51:18 All might became a full time teacher after losing his quirk so it seemed like the obvious choice for Deku the guy with more knowledge on quirks then most of the people in UA to use that knowledge to teach others. Its like an athlete who gets injured, and they retire to become a coach or even analyst for their sport.
@@johnmilxer3979 I get that, it’s like watching a prospect in a sport win the biggest title in his first year and get injured so bad he never gets to play against the same level. Feels like wasted potential, it’s sad to see, which is why I get when people say they don’t like that Deku lost his power, but what makes me ok with it, it was never his to begin with.
@@DmDaPDm That makes sense. He was lucky enough to have gotten a power at one point by one of the only 2 people in the story that could give quirks. I feel like the series would have been good if Deku tried to become a hero without a quirk as well. But it sucked that we didn’t get much pages about the other characters that the story was about tho

I think it’s fitting that All for One and One for All are eliminated at the same time I do like how the series had Deku get powers from technology 8 years later. The tech was established after all. My main point being that his sacrifice had consequences (8 years worth), and he got to be a hero again.
Funny enough, Deku getting a suit that lets him be a hero could be used to make anti-quirk people make sense. They can eventually use technology to gain abilities that make them a threat to people with quirks, rather than have them be non-factors. However, if they wanted to address "why doesn't every quirkless person just get a suit", it could also be explained that it requires a rare element, like adamantium or vibranium in Marvel comics
I like the ending and the message of what being a hero actually means it wants to portray (even if I feel it could’ve been a little bit better like making it clear the hero rankings are a thing they do for fun now and don’t actually mean anything anymore) but Horikoshi you couldn’t have let Deku be part time at a hero agency in the analytics department or a part time firefighter along with being a teacher. I also think it’s weird that in whole 8 years Deku didn’t use any type of support item to do hero work or a less advance super suit
This ending was underwhelming in my personal opinion. It’s a reflection, in my opinion, of the entire story of MHA. So many interesting threads and plot points that never get fleshed out properly or get the attention they deserve
I'm a sucker for romance, so I'm disappointed that at least Ochaco and Deku getting a hint of a pay off. That's probably one of the best written pairings in shounen
With the way it was set up loosing his powers had to happen. I am actually glad izuku didn’t pass on the quirk. Which many fans were hoping to see. Once he lost it . He didn’t regain it. Yeah the whole suit of armor brings. the whole argument why couldn’t deku just be a hero while quirkless. I like the symbolism of him getting the suit. It’s not showing izuku character growth. It’s His freinds and the world as a whole. Before the entire world even almight said you can’t be a hero. It’s to dangerous you don’t have a quirk. When a lot of quirks don’t really affect the hero performance. The quirk is heavily dependent on the hero physical condition and creativity/training to use it effectively. Now he has what he wanted to hear . The belief and support of his freinds. Each member of class 1-A telling him. We know you can be a hero. Here use this suit we help build to do it. People are not telling him he can’t be a hero. They are telling him . Go be a hero we know you can do it. It reflects on the society hawks wants to build. Everyone can be a hero you can reach out and help someone don’t wait on someone with power to do it. All it takes is just a word of comfort.
In the end i felt the school aspect was lost in the middle. My only problem with school action shonen settings tbh (Unless its like set in a ""realistic""" world
@@cronggpal In what way was the school aspect lost? As far as school setting in a world of superpowers this series did an excellent job. Given it’s a Shonen yes the students were going to step up and defeat the main villains. Unlike most series where the teachers and the adults step into the background as the kids become the only ones to stop the bad guys . This series did an excellent job making the adults a part of the battle. As can be expected in a world where they are training child soilders. The internships the hero /side kick dynamics. After each incident the stakes were raised and the students were given more responsibility and freedom to act accordingly. With the adults actually responding getting the students involved because there was no avoiding it. Yes eventually the school setting was lost as the entire country of Japan became a disaster zone. That happens in any series when they enter final battle mode. Afterwards they quickly resumed class mode. The only other series that comes close to maintain the class aspect was X-men evolution. As your classic x men were introduced in a point of their lives where they enter puberty and gain their powers. With storm, Charles, Logan, beast being the teachers in Xavier school. Mystique, magneto running the brotherhood program to contrast Xavier school. Both students from either program attending the local highschool as to allow the students to integrate into regular society.
Its not even the suit that brings up the issues with "quirkless heroes" not existing. People like Stain and Aizawa are essentially perfect examples of what quirkless heroes could look like. Unless just having a quirk gives a massive boost to a character's "base stats" theres no reason why someone like deku couldnt just get strong and train like Aizawa.
@@dullahan_of_light6047 The suit brings up the issue in as to why couldn’t izuku do it sooner. Like you said with aizawa or Shinzo . A lot of quirks are just a suit of armor. The quirks are nothing without the physical conditioning /training to use them effectively in hero work. Aizawa uses his bandages to restrain villains so he could later use his quirk. His quirk doesn’t add any physical boost. Deku already on physical peak condition even without one for all. He had to train so his body could handle the quirk. As a teacher at uA it’s definitely required for him yo maintain physical condition so he could show his students exercises for their quirks. It all comes back to this world entire emphasis on why quirks are so important. Their dependence on quirks. The last chapter made a small note that technology advances has begun to shift people opinion. I could argue deku didn’t want to start any controversy while Japan was recovering from the damage. So he quietly settled back into his new life as one far all expired. While deku wanted a quirk so he could be a hero. What he wanted most of all was for someone to tell him he could be a hero. In a sense the armor is the new one far all that just like All might trusted him to be a hero with the quirk after telling him no. it’s the trust all his freinds in Class 1-A have in him. Telling him he could be a hero. An entire shift from when the story started.
You don't need to show that Izuku and the others go for a cofee every once in a while. It's not necessary but showing a reunion like that with talking about how all the characters are at the moment would've beeen way better than the way we got it
So right st the start of my hero deku is talking about this is how he became the greatest hero of all time its like him retelling his story. So did he become the greatest hero of all time
I'm still annoyed that they just basically wrote off quirks as radiation sickness worldwide all at the same time. Like that was one of the most annoying things the origin for the quirks could have been so much cooler than that
I wish Tekking would have talked more about the Todoroki family storyline and what's his feeling about the conclusion of it (we only got little bit by end of the stream but that's not much lol).
@tekking101 do next the episode review of the latest One Piece episode Garp Vs Kuzan/Aokiji, it is seen there that hisIce powers doesn't works against Conquerors Haki users, they animate it well
It was a great ending chapter, it just was a for different version of the manga where everything was fleshed out more beforehand. So, it feels decent and hollow at the same time.
Deku give away most of his quirks to defeat Shigaraki. He keeps OFA and can pass it onwards. Even better: upon defeating Shigaraki, he somehow gets AFO, and it merges with OFA, greatly expanding it's storage capacity. That way Deku can solve the Singularity. Break down the complicated quirks and give power boosts to the top heroes who can handle more power
Mineta was having a character arc with his original scummy self. He became more of an incel after interning with Mt. Lady who just had him do chores, later acknowledging that she'd changed when brought on as a guest teacher at UA. When Midnight died, he mourned for her. We were on track for Mineta to mature and respect woman as people, not a prize for cool guys. We didn't get to see a payoff though.
one for all being passed down to future generations was the ending I would've preferred. Mainly because I want a spin off or some sort of story wherein one far all with the combination of the best possible quirks falls in the hand of a bad person
They really could have cut those two future bad guy/plate boi out and focus more on the main cast future and where they'd go in life It was really rushed out the door as mangaka don't really write good endings for stories as they focus on the now. Sure they have an idea like naruto and bleach on couples but getting to that point naturally always ends up a mess Even one piece we are seeing this with how oda is cutting content and doing things in the vivra cards
Goes to show society is changing so that less people become villains, but yeah less time on them maybe. BTW who was the 2nd bad guy, I only remember that mouth sewed up guy?
A few point I will say: With the context of the interview recently had by Kohei Horikoshi, it seems as if he intentionally left things out to leave more to the imagination of the reader. And while we never got Uraraka confessing to Deku, we did have her finally expressed that she loves Deku and not repressing her feelings. And when it comes to Tomura Shigaki while all for one planned out most of his life, his plan only worked because society still failed Tomura. If that Grandma had lent a helping hand to Tomura, he could’ve ended up in a situation where he would no longer feel that hatred. And OFA had to go because AFO had to go. They are two sides of the same coin and keeping one means the other has to stay because they are joined by fate. Thematically, Deku had to lose the quirk of OFA to show that he is still able to act as a hero without the quirk. And a theme of MHA is what it means to be a hero and what is makes a hero and losing his quirk games home that a quirk does not make you a hero.
I'm going to be honest I didn't really like the ending because what was the point in giving Deku powers in the first place if he was just going to lose them? Almight said Deku couldn't be a hero without powers that's why gave him powers, but he just ends up losing them and becoming a quirk less hero anyway. if Deku could have been a quirk less hero with tech why not just give him an ironman suit from the beginning instead of powers? The ending contradicts the beginning when Almight said you can't be a hero without powers, and this is proven in the series by Almight himself when he tried to fight All for one with just tech and was defeated.
Well all might said technology advanced greatly since the beginning of the story, and then add in how expensive the technology is, it makes Sense that it wasn't available right from the beginning.
In retrospect, Hori probably should've had Deku directly involved with building his new armor, it fits with his note taking/studious side. Plus it makes the Armor feel that much more earned.
Why show almight was also quirkless. If you need powers/suit to save people . Why be a hero in the 1st place. The whole point of choosing deku as almight successor was because he too had that impulse to save people. No matter his limitations . His body just reacted. Deku reminded almight why he was chosen for one for all. Loosing his powers but he eventually gets to still live his dream of being a hero. A lot quirks shown dont make the hero. Without proper training and skill to make use of their quirk . Their quirk is essentially a suit of armor. They still need experience to use it effectively. This was a society that put heavy emphasis on how useful or power a quirk was. At the beginning it was the whole world telling him he couldn’t be a hero because he was quirk less. Now deku has changed the view of his freinds and the world. Even if you’re not a hero. You have the ability to help someone. Do it reach out and help someone. They realize here use this suit to be a hero. we know you have what it takes to be a hero . The suit symbolizes the acknowledgment from everyone important to izuku as everyone from class A contributed to the suit. It’s not because deku had one for all but he reminded people what it means to be a hero. I agree . I would have love to have izuko remain quirkless work his way up to hero status from the support class. The hero gains power and looses it to defeat the villain. He doesn’t regain his power . Which would defeat the purpose of losing it in the 1st place. Deku moved on became a teacher for the next generation rather than regaining one for all. He gets a suit that was built from everyone who believes in him. This a different way to convey a classic message. What does it mean to be a hero.
I feel like the entire point of the quirk disappearing is to reinforce that Izuku never needed the Quirk to be a true hero. He spent his youth believing that he couldn’t do it without an innate power, then he got one and saved the world. Going back to being quirkless was to show that he personally had grown enough to know that he didn’t need the powers. The suit was made so that we could get Izuku being the hero he was always meant to be, even without the powers that seemed to be a barrier for at one point.
“I don’t need a quirk” still needs super powered gauntlets, the issue with the ending is just how forced him getting what he wants was, especially since he did no hero work for 8 years, and is apparently in perfect shape to fight crime
@@ragnaricstudios5888 the suit is part of not having a quirk. The entire idea of his character was the obsession with having a quirk so he could be a hero. The point of the ending is that he still gets to be a hero, even without the quirk. In a society built around hero’s being the people born with power, he is a hero without it. And let’s be real, it’s 1000x more courageous to go into battle as a normal human in a power suit, than it is to go in as a nigh indestructible superhuman. It further highlights how deku is a hero at heart, and even after being away for 8 years he answered the call without reservation.
What? I was writing a different comment and it’s just crazy that kids with all that stuff going on not hooking up. My hs had a daycare tho so maybe that’s why I think that way. I’ve even thought the shippers on this story were a bit out there
Honestly, people saying that "FMA's ending is MHA but better" and comparing the two at all are wrong. Edward's goal was always to fix his and Al's bodies. That's all. He never wanted to become the best alchemist ever or find Philosopher's Stone for the sake of finding it. Plus FMA's core idea is that you have to give something to get something. You KNEW that he will have to give something up to earn his happy ending. Deku's goal was to be the top tier hero like All Might. MHA's narrative was very clear on that you cannot be at the top without a quirk, and preferrably a very strong quirk. There was also no indication that any sort of quirk sacrifice should be needed to defeat the villian. When Edward loses his powers of alchemy, he achieves his goal by sacrificing said powers. When Deku loses his powers, he no longer can achieve his goal because he has no powers anymore.
What I thought the ending would be: Eri's quirk goes through two evolutions and Deku give One for All to her and over time she eliminates all quirks from existence.
1:01:16 I wouldn't call that a fight. More like a stand off. Itachi stopped it pretty much before i could actually start saying it would end in a draw.
I've been criticizing the fact that almost 99% of mangas always have a very bad or completely unsatisfactory ending for many years. no idea why that is. I think the mangaka themselves just can't write a good ending or don't want to. or they are forbidden from making a real ending, for whatever reason I bet the ending of One Piece will be unsatisfactory too ^^
@@AGuyWithDice no, it went exactly where it needed to be because his arc was changing the world and others, not himself. And if you think he ended up a nobody and his friends ignored him then you lack basic reading comprehension. We see that he has a statue along side other members of class A. Hid friends did not ignore him, they were busy being adults and could not hangout with Deku a lot. The story never said he did not see his classmates. And finally, the kid Dia literally recognized who Deku was because he is well known.
Just thought I'd let you know that marrying your cousin is a thing in some anime, is because it's legal in Japan. The reason it's legal is to retain generational wealth. I only know because I watched an educational video where they listed 10 things you should know when visiting Japan.
I thought the ending was fine, but I felt the conclusion to the war was rushed, shigaraki deserved a better send off and some more characters probably needed to be killed off to be more impactful
There's no way AFO wouldn't have eventually been defeated. Quirks are much like stands in a sense that there's just so many crazy hax abilities that even the strongest powers are bound to have few hard counters. Ask any hardcore JoJo fan to list stands that could defeat crazy OP ones like D4C Love Train, GER and Wonder of U and they'll come up with plenty of examples of stands that could work in right circumtances. And MHA already has plenty that could basically one-shot everyone, like Overhaul's and Eri's for example. I see no reason why Eri couldn't have deleted literally anyone if she went berserk. And let's not forget that Star and Stripe would have won, if not for Shikaragi's psyche going through unforeseen development at that prescise moment. Literally the one thing that nullified that power happened at prescisely wrong moment. Without that plot armor final war wouldn't have even happened. So yeah, it would only be matter of time before rest of the world formulates a strategy where bunch of those hax abilities completely shut AFO down for long enough that someone can kill him.
There's probably going to be a lot of Light Novels for MHA in the next 5 years. These light novels will probably be about Shoto Star and Stripe Uraraka Tokoyami One of Deku's students
Gonna be honest after season 1 it went all downhill and got progressively worse. Idk how horikoshi fucked up his own creation so hard. Really disappointed ☹️
I wonder if it's a Voltron situation where the shippers got so absolutely insane (blackmailing animators if they didn't make certain ships canon) it derailed the romance stuff in the show cos they clearly didn't want to listen to these loons and it was reflected in the writing If Horikoshi is the same where shippers drove him round the bend to the point he actively wanted to distance himself i wouldn't be surprised, MHA shippers have been notorious for their lunacy for years now
Togas parents were absolutely terrible, but Toga was dangerous, crazy, and violent BEFORE her parents started treating her badly. She didn't go crazy and start hurting people because her parents treated her badly, her parents treated her badly BECAUSE she was crazy and started hurting people. Were her parents still complete monsters? Yes. Would Toga have still turned into a villain if they had treated her better? ABSOLUTELY. She was deeply, deeply disturbed and unwell. That's just who she was; it was her personality. Her parents obviously shouldn't have tried to "fix" her with the conversion therapy stuff, but Toga was going to end up being a villain either way. Her quirk being what it was doesn't change or justify anything. Yes her quirk made her crave blood. It made blood taste good to her. It's still her CHOICE to satisfy that craving by killing. She could, if she wanted to, just ignore that craving, or try and set up a situation with a blood bank, or even just go only after animal blood. But instead, she CHOOSES to go after human blood, and she CHOOSES to kill people to get it. Imagine someone who's quirk let them eat cell phones and it made them crave cell phones, and made phones taste good. That still wouldn't justify them KILLING people to take their phones. It wouldn't justify robbing electronics stores to steal all the phones. Now replace "phones" with "blood." Does that change the morality of killing people to get what you want? Of course not.
On the point for not confirming any relationships. I think it’s a good move. Look we have to acknowledge that the MHA community has a lot of toxic people in it. And they have a TON of opinions on who should date/ Marry who. I think the best action was to leave it really vague. That way people can come to their own conclusions on who is dating who.
Gentle and La Brava each having wedding rings on, was nice. Their relationship was the most fleshed out romance, ironically enough lol.
I am happy that those two got together.

1:17:00 Gurren Lagann's ending was bittersweet at best, it was quite the opposite of being dark. It was very hopeful and uplifting.
It was a very fitting ending like not happy but very good
It’s the MHA ending done right
The epilogue consisted of 8 chapters, that should have been.
1. Rebuilding and the worlds reaction
Yeah, I feel like a time skip epilogue should at least explain what the entire main cast is doing.
I'm from Sweden Tekking, so u got atleast one fan from here.
Feel that Shigaraki was not utilised as much as he could have been. Especially since he was revealed to have been essentially a puppet of AFO even before he was born.
I think it's offset by the fact that Shigaraki is clearly the superior villain and AFO finds that threatening.
@@TheFIamethat’s sad if true because the My villain part was my favorite from the whole series
I stopped reading around the point where the anime is now.. personally I'm not surprised Hori laid off the romance given how toxic the MHA shipping community was 😂 the only ship in the series I genuinely rooted for was Kirishima X Mina
Ya know that makes sense. I wonder how much of my hero was guided by the authors fear of how the insane cult like fanbase would react
This is an ending where i feel like we absoltely need some post canon material 😂
1:06:00 It's actually endearing to hear tekking talk about other subjects in tangent to anime. I could see deku as the guy in the earpiece. While the pro heroes are on the frontline, Midoriya's the tactical genius guiding them on the best course of action in a pinch
thats dumb and not what his character was built up for, everyone needs to stop coping and realize horikoshi dropped the ball.
I see no reason why Eri couldn't restore OFA in Deku (and ALL Might). Her quirk is 'rewind' afterall.
I couldn't care less about ships in my stories, but if you're gonna set them up, then follow through.
I am not a expert but acording the the final arc of Gintama, when you want to end your series in shonen jump you have to plan it and tell the magazine in advance, like months in advance, so that might be the problem with all these ending, the mangaka thinking that they can finish it in a set amout of chapter and then failing the math.
My hero Vigilantes was amazing and things like that could easily be done as short sequels in the future.
what this final chapter needed was this Gatchaman Crowds crowds quote “What the world needs is not stand out heroes, but the entire human race turned into heroes!”
The whole “group hug interrupts the intimate moment” thing is a gag you use when you have more story to tell. I really think he wanted Izuku to have a depressing bittersweet ending to reflect his overworked state of mind these days
Freaking jumpscare at 1:11:56 made me jump in my chair, didn't know Tekking could spook me like that lol
One of my gripes of the last few chapters was focusing on Spinner without much payoff. Could have spent more time on the others
I think Izuku not having OFA at the end works better than him having it simply bc of the message that you can still be hero without a quirk
Feels like it just happened way too early for Deku
@@johnmilxer3979 I get that, it’s like watching a prospect in a sport win the biggest title in his first year and get injured so bad he never gets to play against the same level. @@DmDaPDm That makes sense. He was lucky enough to have gotten a power at one point by one of the only 2 people in the story that could give quirks. Horikoshi set up Uravity and Deku in like chapter 2-3, and no this isnt a shipping thing, this is a "The mangaka set this up from literally the beginning and made it a story point throughout the series to make fans think it was going to happen, and it never did, thing".
Even if you argue his friends abandoning him, which they did, sorry to break your cope, Uraraka fucking off and barely seeing deku in 8 years is insulting to the readers, especially because 2 chapters ago they seemed to have what could have been a great moment with them getting together, and horikoshi ruined it. I think it’s fitting that All for One and One for All are eliminated at the same time
I do like how the series had Deku get powers from technology 8 years later. The tech was established after all. My main point being that his sacrifice had consequences (8 years worth), and he got to be a hero again.
That history segment made me wanna listen to tekking talking about history more.
They should have had a chapter or half a chapter for each classmate
i will miss MHA it was very nice and fun journey ...
This ending was underwhelming in my personal opinion. It’s a reflection, in my opinion, of the entire story of MHA. So many interesting threads and plot points that never get fleshed out properly or get the attention they deserve
Still disappointed we didn't get Koichi from MHA:Vigilantes. Missed potential.
I’d have been fine with Izuku losing like half of his quirks. I feel he could’ve at least kept his super strength and Black Whip or Fa Jin.
Frankly I find the ending kinda anticlimactic my man isn’t even recognized for the sacrifices he’s made for the people.
My only problem with school action shonen settings tbh
(Unless its like set in a ""realistic""" world
@@cronggpal
In what way was the school aspect lost?
@@dullahan_of_light6047
The suit brings up the issue in as to why couldn’t izuku do it sooner.
I’ve never been so convinced that an author hates his main character as much as this ending.
1:15:54- that is a happy ending I fully endorse after everything that everyone endured.
You don't need to show that Izuku and the others go for a cofee every once in a while. It's not necessary but showing a reunion like that with talking about how all the characters are at the moment would've beeen way better than the way we got it
But Ironman was special because he created his own tech. His special power was his genius. Izuku just gets receives powers.
So right st the start of my hero deku is talking about this is how he became the greatest hero of all time its like him retelling his story.
So did he become the greatest hero of all time
I'm still annoyed that they just basically wrote off quirks as radiation sickness worldwide all at the same time. Like that was one of the most annoying things the origin for the quirks could have been so much cooler than that
"Those who can't do, teach." Made sense to me
I wish Tekking would have talked more about the Todoroki family storyline and what's his feeling about the conclusion of it (we only got little bit by end of the stream but that's not much lol).

This has been a extraordinary Livestream today Tekking.
Mainly because I want a spin off or some sort of story wherein one far all with the combination of the best possible quirks falls in the hand of a bad person
timeskip haircuts be beating characters up sometimes
Not a bad ending, but this series definitely peaked around its midpoint.
trash ending
IMO, it peaked around 100 chapters, definitely All Might vs. AFO.
It dropped right after Overhaul's defeat for me, haven't gave the series any attention since then. Was hoping to see deku's father though \:
They really could have cut those two future bad guy/plate boi out and focus more on the main cast future and where they'd go in life
It was really rushed out the door as mangaka don't really write good endings for stories as they focus on the now. Sure they have an idea like naruto and bleach on couples but getting to that point naturally always ends up a mess
Even one piece we are seeing this with how oda is cutting content and doing things in the vivra cards
Goes to show society is changing so that less people become villains, but yeah less time on them maybe. BTW who was the 2nd bad guy, I only remember that mouth sewed up guy?
Why didn't eri just reset him back to when he had a quirk

She left deku because of his haircut…
A few point I will say:
With the context of the interview recently had by Kohei Horikoshi, it seems as if he intentionally left things out to leave more to the imagination of the reader.
@@TheFIame is hard to believe it advanced that much in 8 years
@@TheFIame yea if rest of the class was going to build him a suit why not tell him about it or have him be involved in its production?

Ofa was created to fight against afo without the existence of afo ofa was likely no longer needed in a thematically sense

The fact that naruto didnt become hokage till after the anime and only start studying to become it be the last episode for it after the war.
What I thought the ending would be:
Eri's quirk goes through two evolutions and Deku give One for All to her and over time she eliminates all quirks from existence.
1:01:16 I wouldn't call that a fight. More like a stand off. Itachi stopped it pretty much before i could actually start saying it would end in a draw.
Honeslty, I'll remember MHA like Bleach just rushed endings for editorials
I've been criticizing the fact that almost 99% of mangas always have a very bad or completely unsatisfactory ending for many years. no idea why that is. I think the mangaka themselves just can't write a good ending or don't want to. or they are forbidden from making a real ending, for whatever reason
I bet the ending of One Piece will be unsatisfactory too ^^
Well if you consider the character journey for deku it seems like he didn't learn a thing..
Not necessarily. While the core of his character did not change, what did change is his perspective of the world.
@@mangamandrew thats not how good writing works.
@@AGuyWithDice how is it not good writing? Not every character has to fundamentally change as a person to be well written.
@@mangamandrew Dekus character arc from the 2nd chapter onward went nowhere, he ended up a nobody whos friends ignore him.
I only know because I watched an educational video where they listed 10 things you should know when visiting Japan.
yeah they did that everywhere, but its also still weird to do it today
All valid complaints. Really a lackluster series ending, same with MHA Vigilantes. Oh well.
If deku wants to be a hero so bad why doesn't he get eri to just put him back to a time where he had a quirk
what ever happened to dekus dad
There's probably going to be a lot of Light Novels for MHA in the next 5 years. These light novels will probably be about
Shoto
Star and Stripe
Uraraka
Tokoyami
One of Deku's students
his new armor take notes of quirks and copy them
I was under the impression the suit uses the data gathered from the various quirks of OFA and replicates the functions of those quirks.
@@dullahan_of_light6047 exactly it take records of the preveus OFA and replicates them at some extent
listen the shigaraki arc could have been the start of something great, instead they went friends forever everyone included smiley route
Deku losing his quirk is as pointless as changing Luffy's fruit from paramecia to mythical zoan
Lemillion was the only interesting character for me, he needed to be in the manga a lot more.
I would have liked it more if there were just no more quirks in the world. Much like the end of AoT.
uraraka your My Hero Academia-- the end
Gonna be honest after season 1 it went all downhill and got progressively worse. Idk how horikoshi fucked up his own creation so hard. Really disappointed ☹️
He changed editors
I wonder if it's a Voltron situation where the shippers got so absolutely insane (blackmailing animators if they didn't make certain ships canon) it derailed the romance stuff in the show cos they clearly didn't want to listen to these loons and it was reflected in the writing
If Horikoshi is the same where shippers drove him round the bend to the point he actively wanted to distance himself i wouldn't be surprised, MHA shippers have been notorious for their lunacy for years now

And they have a TON of opinions on who should date/
Marry who.
I think the best action was to leave it really vague.
That way people can come to their own conclusions on who is dating who.
