This story has been here with me as a kid. I've grown up with mha, and now as of may of 2025 im gonna graduate highschool. This story means the world to me.
LITERALLY. i started it in grade school and im about to be a senior like? im so emotionally attached but Deku being able to still be a hero makes me so happy
Tbh,deku did became a hero again with pro gadgets,but still yes I am very disappointed with this ending as a mha fan It's rushed and didn't have enough weight, specially because how everything was rushed to just 5 chapters
Dear…God. It feels so damn cathartic! My Hero Academia was always one of my favorite shows. And seeing its manga end like it did felt…bittersweet. I’m currently a young adult going into college, and seeing this video felt…good. It felt like there was hope for me and the rest of the world to reach out and become the heroes we wanted to be in our dreams. Thank you, Kohei Horikoshi. And thank you, Slice Of Otaku. The way you worded your comment makes me wanna apply My Hero to my daily life one way or another (and totally reminds me of All Mights last fight and Dekus start to fully take One for All. When I hear "final", it just makes me want to cry. My Hero Academia has always been one of my favorite shows, I remember when my dad left to go visit my grandparents in a different country and I would just sneak into my mom's bedroom and watch funny moments from My Hero Academia. (mostly Bakugou just yelling at everyone, lol.) It brings a good laugh out of me all the time, I even played the MHA mobile games too! when I read the chapter it made me burst into tears. Just seeing your favorite character graduate, and is now all grown up and mature, it's just amazing, and wonderful and sad at the same time. Seeing this video made me feel good, even though I'm not going to college and stuff, it still felt sweet and nice to watch, I'm glad that you decided to talk about this chapter. Thank you, Kohei Horikoshi for creating such a masterpiece. Oh! And Happy 10th Anniversary to My Hero Academia!
Eri playing an instrument is actually pretty cool because she can technically still help people with music instead of violence she will basically be fighting with her voice to help everyone and anyone because music can help some people when in time of need just like how class 1a did for her at the festival helping her learn to smile
Your way of narrating this story always is so entertaining, so much so that my mother found me watching you and she became a huge fan. She loves your positive vibes and watches you every week. She loves your outro the most. Thanks for all that you've done Otaku.

Love this video and commentary. 13:30 I love how Bakugou is shown to be so ardently dedicated to helping Deku here. It really cements his character progression and development into a heroic image of victory, which I found to be the most inspiring aspect of this series. (Although after nearly dying in a war, I think he deserves a higher rank.) Sometimes, I struggle with being kind. I think we all do a little bit. Reading My Hero Academia has lessened the struggle.

I think its interesting that in this one panel you found so much detail and that yeah they all were kinda put in their groups like this is kidna how I would imagine the inner circles look though they are all friends this is kinda how I think the closests relationships would be apart from maybe kirshima not being closer to bakugo I think the groups make sense and of course ida is in the middle as he should class rep for life it would seem. As far as shoto goes looking at deku I think its more out of thankfullness for pulling him out of the darkness that he thought himself to be in. Similarly uraraka she has been shown to be one of his closests friends and looks up to him even if this isn't to show romantic feelings it makes sense because how much she thinks he is just cool. meanwhile bakugo looking fowards with that cocky gleam in his eyes. Man this is fun and cool to look at the panels this deep. Tangent longer then your post sorry XD
Mina looks absolutely STUNNING with longer hair and those longer horns, like seriously....Also I think the neck piece on Ochako may also be a reminder for Toga who had her blood mask that was connected to those needles she used back when they first met...just me reaching a bit. Also Eri being adorable and really inspired by Kyoka who was the first person to make her smile after all that mess with Overhaul she had to go through....her timidly starting to sing last chapter and then going full on rocker girl leaping on stage much to the shock and delight of everyone was totally adorable....though it surprised even Bakugo when she did that lol. I'm pretty happy with how things turned out and I'm sure fanfics are gonna go nuts now with even more Quirkless Izuku using tech to make up for not having a Quirk...just hopefully more like his and All Might's outfit and less a complete Iron Man rip off....then again that was a pretty obvious inspiration for the suitcase armor and Stain having a freaking Goblin Glider there in the end arc shows just how much of an inspiration MHA took from Western comic brands like Marvel and DC.
Thank you for covering this series throughout its run. It has honestly helped me keep up as things got busy in my life. My hero has helped me rediscover my love of heroes, comics, and introduced me to the world of manga and anime outside of dragonball. I’m grateful to this series and I hope that we do get some kind of spinoff or sequel but if this is farewell to the series I’m happy. I loved the ride, ups and downs all of it.

The entire English speaking audience is so blind for not realizing that the ending of this manga is completely unsatisfying and ridiculous 🤡. Deku ended up being the biggest loser in history.
Wow I wasn’t expecting a 8 year timeskip with them passing a scene of their graduation and probably a confession even a kiss scene between izuku and ochako with them already being Real Pro-Heroes Now. Man I’m gonna miss MHA since I got into it back in high school because Stan Lee would’ve been so proud of horikoshi since MHA has inspired a generation of Anime fans even Me and how MHA is mostly inspired by Marvel and DC comics. Me and my dad watched this show back when I was in the first grade. I remember that we predicted that dabi was shoto’s siblings. Back then, I really related to Deku. Mostly because I was the short nerdy kid. Ever since then, I’ve gotten friends and now I’m confident in myself. I stopped watching in season 6, but my dad finished watching it. I did keep up with the story though. I know how the story ended and what happened after I stopped watching. Mostly because of this channel. Farewell, My Hero Academia. Farewell Plot Armor.

This series has been nothing but an absolute joy to watch. Some admissions, I didn’t get the ending of OFA right. And my theory does need some corrections no doubt but I’m sticking with the structure leading to the prime power he used. OFA has SO many rules. All-Might finally has light back in his eyes after so many years and Deku gets to stay a hero. This is just an outstanding series and I will always hold it in the highest regard
But I guess I did love the show in total, and was expecting a lot better outcome, but Izuku being a teacher is so much sense to me especially on how he had always been on All Might's footstep and also a capable teacher... But the thing is, I truly have a problem with All Might being a teacher, because eventually he still have favoritism in mind, not like Aizawa's teachings. Although I kinda like the end being idealized as Deku having an Mini Iron Might Suit, but if I were to expect, it will just eventually used and repair again and again, just like Deku's bones 😂 Good characters' adult design, and some are just funny like Mineta, but I just kinda don't like Ochaco's design having that mask honestly. If they wanted that mask to be correlated with Deku and Ochako's bond, or even relationship... The bunny ears is more likely to be fitting than the mask itself, because Ochaco won't actually bite, she will use martials arts and pinned you to death just like bunny's kicks... And also referred to Deku's first design, in which she can have it on her earpiece than having a mask with no use at all except to put it for a display, or just give it to Deku back. Like literally I don't want to think that Ochaco wants to smell that mask for whole 8 years. 😂 But I guess this is honestly the end, I truly wanted to watch the sequel, but I am not expecting about any of it due to that awkward flaw about Ochaco being cut off once again... Because oh boy, the Trio (Bakugo, Deku, Todoroki) is back at it again.... I truly wish that the class also have their own ideals displayed like Shoji, Ojiro, and Koda. Also, if they wanted to make IzuOcha canon in the sequel, I wish they won't just go, cut off Uraraka and make Deku talk to the two again. Because everytime Ochaco wants to talk... Deku will talk to the two again... Like if I were to put it, Deku has more time to Bakugo and Todoroki, than just with Uraraka, because literally even when they just talk, they will eventually part aways easily than I could ever imagine...
What’s crazy about this is that I’ve watch you’re videos for at least 3 years now at least since 2022 and seeing the finale of mha over is just sad😢 and I’m now have my own job and still watch your videos so thanks for uploading these context ❤❤❤
So that's how it ends huh? What a finale. Could more have been done? Yeah. But Horikoshi's been grinding like crazy to get his story done so I accept the ending for how it is. What I would've like to see was Midnight's memory being honored more like a memorial or something, Deku's dad getting revealed, IzuOcha being officially confirmed because come on, it couldn't be more obvious, etc. So for those who are gonna really miss MHA, I say create something meaningful that others can enjoy, I mean that's what I'm currently working on. So with that, I have one last thing to say for now: go beyond, plus ultra!
Izuku and Ochaco are implied. In their body language, the way they act together in the few panels, and the fact that she's wearing his old Deku mask around her neck. Look at the way she looks up at him at the end. That's an extremely loving gaze in his direction. MHA wasn't meant to be a romance manga.
I really hope that the Anime ending adds some things that Horikoshi left out since while I know that Horikoshi expanded the story I feel like some point Horikoshi had enough and started rushing to finish and get it over with. Deku’s dad was literally promises to appear and never did

My Hero Academia. It Kinda hurts that by next year everything with MHA will be done. The last movie, the last episode, and we already reached the last page of the books. It hurts to know this show will be a thing of the past. One day forgotten by people as time passes. This show encouraged me, taught me some things that helped me focus on life, and showed me the path to a good dream. I want to make Manga books, I'm only 13 and started a year ago on art and I want to make books like these, with the lesson of not giving up because that's how I feel about art now. The ending of this series puts an image in my head, not everything is perfect at the end, but everything is okay once it's over. I'm going into the life of art and manga, and I'm nervous, but this gave me encouragement to keep following my dreams despite the hard path it will take. And maybe you can fight for your dreams too, because now we're being told It's our turn to keep this wealth of encouragement going.

I honestly love the fact that Izuku became a UA teacher-hero because that seems like something he would totally do in a world with fewer villains. I do believe that Izuku and Bakugou should’ve had separate statues and a team statue made for them though since they are the ones who defeated All For One & Shigaraki.
Damn I got teary eyed watching this. I grew up with my hero academia and I'm starting up college now and I found your channel from my hero and I've been watching every video ever since and it's really feels like a end of era in a way. But whatever comes next I'll definitely be here watching to the very end.

I have never felt more close to a character quite like deku, we both have a dream to be heros, we look up to the heros in real life and comics but heros non the less, and seeing deku get his dream again makes me so inspired, to keep on going to reach my dreams one day, thank you MHA for giving me another hero.

I’m ngl I like to think that uraraka wearing the deku type neckpiece is like a sign that they are dating/married similar to an engagement ring of sorts. Also I’m upset that not all of class 1-A had a summary of what they’ve been doing. I feel like horikoshi is gonna surprise us with some form of spinoff called like “My Future Academia” or something lmfao
That’s what I’m thinking as well cause it would make sense that they are dating married ect cause deku was shown throughout the series of him possibly having a crush on ocacho and she obviously did have one on him so it wouldn’t surprise me if they are dating married during the 8 year time skip
I hope uraraka wearing that same neck piece deku had with his hero costume means their dating or they been hanging out time to time because when I saw this chapter, there was no confession or confirmation them being together, and there’s been an 8 year time skip, where deku said he hasn’t seen his friends since graduation, and he been feel lonely, that hurt me a lot seeing that. I just hope him and uraraka did talked or at least hang out during that time skip.

MHA has been more than just a manga to me it has been a life guide i never knew that watching class 1A grow together, laugh together, cry together etc.etc. could mean so much it really shows you that yes they may just be kids but these kids are the future of heroes and as just like a flower they will grow from mere saplings to eventually blossom into Beatiful flowers Everyone lifted each other up when it was needed the most and Heroes may suffer more than you think but so does the Villians and the contrast between the two throughout the manga was just PERFECT! I feel like some people aren't gonna like the loosing OFA ending but for me it was the ending that made the most sense because OFA was formed to Defeat AFO so now that AFO (the person and quirk) is gone there's no longer a need for OFA and as its stated in the chapter itself the rate of villains are decreasing and the rate of heroes are stable so theres really no need for it anymore
@@TheWheelman298 I mean like in the actual chapter him and his friends have like action pmfugures of them so I assume when he still had ofa he was still an active hero and after all the embers where gone he retired and became a teacher
I assume that with the development of the suits, it might mean that more and more villains might appear and abuse these types of stuff, so that's one way Horikoshi can explore this universe. Or the villains can be extinct, but other types of evil like tyranny and corruption will come up, so that's a new kind of evil the heroes will fight. In any case, Horikoshi would definitely cook with any kind of manga that he wants to write next, so it's fine either way.
Those.. fond and distant memories... it managed to erase the horrible scars of the past. Reader, we have all came so.. so far... this journey may have ended. But, it is for the best. I hope we could see this as a spinoff, but it is the finale. Reader, i thank you for reading this, never forget those fond moments of this series and the time we spent. Thank you, My Hero Academia.

This one hits differently. That last line, I will continue to watch this channel, way more to offer than just BNH info but it definitely marks a page in the chapter book for sure.
Even if the story no longer focuses on Deku, the MHA universe is so unique to me because it reminds me of Marvel and DC comics. There is a whole universe and so many characters that can be focused on. Sagas and series that can be created. Different tier-level heroes and villains. Team ups and even a Big-Bad that so many groups fight sometimes. Shonen and Horikoshi could have their own division for this. Not to say that would happen, but the universe has the potential to do so. As long as they never focus or bring up a multiverse or time travel plot lol.
No multiverse. Absolutely not. This doesn't need it. There are some arcs I'd be intetested in. - Bakugo working both his rehab and getting Deku back in the game - Tokoyami working on recovering from his near death experience and almost losing his quirk. Seriously that something i hope gets explored because if anyone deserves to tame Dekus place in the big 3, it's Fumikage - How is Shotos family doing. I hope we see actual work of hom rebuilding his family while Shoto is in school and taking over his father's agency - Give Shoji an expanded arc about him helping heteromorphs. He needs a chance to shine. -Explore topical issues aside from domestic abuse and racism, like teen parenthood, addiction, class conflict, nepotism, etc. - Don't be afraid to give us new characters throughout the sagas too. That's about it my thoughts for now. No shipping because I'm NOT walking into THAT landmine.
Kohei could do the same as the author of Toaru, create spin-offs starring secondary characters from the main series, whether heroes, villains or neutrals, thus taking advantage of the secondary characters and exploring the world of the series. Toaru is very good at this, he manages to connect each spin-off to the main one because each story takes place at the same time. So we have everything from insignificant scenes like the MC in the main story setting fire to a bus to cause a traffic jam and catch the villain, while in the spin-off the MC who was after another villain gets stuck in that traffic jam. Even deep and sad scenes like a secondary mercenary from a spin-off becoming friends with a girl and arranging to have dinner together but then the mercenary dies in the main story. And while in the spin-off, the girl who doesn't know this until today waits for her visit to have dinner together. Combining 2 spin-offs and a main story arc you have the complete lore of a certain character. Spin-offs showing what character x was doing while an event was occurring in the main story, etc. It's a shame that in 10 years of MHA all we had was 1 spin-off and a film focused on the villains.

Tokoyamis guilt over Hawks losing his quirk, Shoto rebuilding his family, Denkis past being fleshed out, Ochako getting a second chance at redemption in helping a troubled person, and of course Bakugo filling in as a leader now that Izuku is now effectively retired. 8 years is alot to what we can explore prior to the timeskip
I loved all the content from plot armor this is where I first started getting into MHA and black clover manga I’m so sad it has ended but I’m very excited to see a possible sequel this is my first Shonen story I have officially seen the end of what a awesome story it was thank you for your awesome content and wonderful videos
I loved the series. The end did feel a bit rushed, I would have liked to see a bit more interaction between the characters as adults, but again great series
I'm still of the opinion that Dad For One was intended to be canon in the beginning, but he changed his mind about it later in the story. It's not just because Hisashi was absent. Horikoshi flat-out confirmed that the winged nomu was Wings Kid from the beginning, but why kidnap and turn him into a nomu? His quirk wasn't anything special. All For One would have also needed to sign off on the kidnapping attempt for Bakugo, but while you can sort of make that situation make sense, it makes MORE sense if you assume All For One has it out for everyone who ever bullied or hurt Izuku. Plus all the Star Wars references, and Horikoshi somewhat ominously promising that we would "meet him" eventually. Jump is infamous for meddling with authors, even famous ones. Even superstars like Toriyama weren't immune. Cell was never originally intended to transform, Toriyama wanted him to look like a creepy bug-man the whole way through. It was his Jump Editors and Supervisors who insisted that he give Cell transformations, which is why Cell transforming at all is a bit of a plot hole. The androids were made to kill Goku; if Dr. Gero had a guaranteed way to do that in cell, why bother putting whatever vital components were necessary for "perfect" Cell in other androids? Why not just make Cell perfect? In the original script, this makes sense, because Cell never transformed. He would just get infinitely stronger the more people he eats: a trait which would get saved and repurposed when Toriyama was pulled back in to make the Buu saga. So we know Jump can meddle, and we also know they meddled in MHA. Horikoshi wanted a Mutant Uprising arc, that would showcase discrimination in MHA society towards mutants and heteromorphs. That was effectively scrapped, and turned into Spinner's aborted attempt to be a revolutionary. And obviously he changed his mind about showing Hisashi, too. So I don't think it's really out of the realm of reason that he had intended a Luke I Am Your Father moment somewhere around or shortly after Kamino, but was talked out of it by his editors.

I will forever miss this manga and anime once season 8 is done. I want to thank the creator hori for giving us a magnificent ride on the MHA manga and thank you to plot armor for reviewing the manga each week. Glad that the kids have gotten their happy endings with a new student trying to be like deku. Looks like the gang did great in financing that suit for deku as he returns to hero work. Somewhere down the line there could be a sequel or spinoff if hori is up for it. This manga was a joy to read and the anime was enjoyable

It’s helped me persevere through times where I would’ve just given up. Deku has made me want to be a kinder person, and honestly, I don’t think I could see myself more in any other shonen protagonist. This has been my favorite manga/anime ever, and despite my issues with the final parts with this series, I will always cherish it in my heart as something truly special. Thank you, Horikoshi. What a series this was... And this video has brought me closure... Loved this series from the origibal one shot, enjoyed the story immensely class A vs Class B was my favourite arc.... Endeavor vs Nomu my favourite fight, and All might telling deku he can be a hero my favourite moment... It felt a bit rushed when they started the final arc and probably wanted things to end s bit different... But all in all what a great story and am greatful to plot armor... Hyping up deku and the correct predictions was such a highlight of my memory of this story. Thanks to plot armor to giving the story so much life... I wish all the best man
It is truly amazing to see MHA come to an end. It makes me tear up. It feels yesterday that I first saw MHA in Middle School through highschool. Honestly it is amazing to see Horikoshi complete his series. Its great how they are all working together to better the world in different ways. To see Izuku lose his embers was saddening, but to see him become a teacher was nice. Him sharing his knowledge to newer students would be great. Especially when he supported someones dream for being a hero. So seeing All Might hand Izuku that suit was a call back to getting OFA. I'm glad be would be able to get an improved suit to continue being a hero. The fact Bakgo and the rest of his classworked together to make the suit. Even better he's reaching out to him to continue being a hero once more. 😁 I can't wait for what Horikoshi has next.
I was sad with the last chapter because there was things that was that wasn’t answered or confirmed but when I saw deku getting the gift and showing Deku with class 1a on the last panel with that last text, it gives me a feeling there could be a sequel
Oh my gosh 😮😮😮!!! After reading so many comments about people being sad that MHA has ended, finally seeing someone comment the same as I felt about the last chapter makes me feel some kind of relief. Many people were saying that the ending was rusher or that it sucked. For me it was a rollercoaster of anticipation then bittersweet (because it seemed like Deku was hold back while his friends continued further) and then to happy (because Deku still got to be a hero at the end, and also brought some begining vibes) and somehow completion (since all of class A are heroes together at the end of the day, even Aoyama in there). Overall i am very happy with the ending, Horikoshi-sensei did amazing job on creating the whole series 😊😊😊

My hero academia in my eyes will go down as one of the best anime’s I have ever seen yeah, the fanbase was always questionable but that made me love it all the more this story was not only just a epic adventure about people becoming superheroes but another message to the world saying “don’t give up” this anime was certainly something truly special and yeah it breaks me to see something that I first got attached to back in 2020 come to an end and I’m excited to see what’s next for my hero academia it will be missed and I loved how it was always there for me when I needed it and lastly I thank Plot armor you my friend (apart from my other friends) was the reason I actually found my hero academia and thanks to you…you made me the most obsessed fanboy of this anime then ever before so thank you much dude for making great content and I wish you the best luck for your channel forever and as they said in the anime my number one favorite line “plus ultra!” ❤❤❤
This story was so special because the Hero gave his all into ensuring everyone else got a brighter future abd technically fulfilled his dreams as well. Usually the MC wants his dreams come true but Deku's dream was for everyone to have a brighter future. The only thing that never got resolved howeverwas Deku's dad's face but I can live with it seeing that it didn't hurt the story.
I've followed MHA for 4 years now. It was my first anime ever, and my favorite. I even collected all the Funko pops and adore all the storylines and fights. I could talk about this series forever. Thank you, Kohei Horikoshi for making an amazing series that I not only was entertained by, but learned from. I will never forget the impact My Hero Academia has had on my life.
My favourite part was when Deku told the McDonald's recruiter about his hero life and then said "Yep, that was my hero academia". Im so happy that he is now the employee of the month.

Major theory I have here: what if the armor All might and class A gave to Deku is the start of figuring out how to restore the natural power of OFA to him or at least as close as they can get to it because even though he hasn’t had it in awhile Dekus body still remembers the power it had and All might himself said that “quirks and technology are constantly evolving and he was skilled at using multiple quirks and he wants to gather data on him” and it took 8 years of planning for this to work so who’s to say the armor is not just a way to get Deku back as a hero but to restore the power he had that allowed him to live out his dream in the first place
This ending was a bit lackluster in my opinion. I mean, I quite like the idea of Deku becoming a teacher and then going back to being a hero with his friends and stuff, but... the fact that Deku also ended up alone, for now, is a HUGE bummer, I get it that romance wasn't exactly the focus of the story, but there was so much set up for Deku and Uraraka through it. And now all that setup was left with no payoff. Disappointing ending aside, I appreciate you covering the story and your videos are quite enjoyable, so thanks for making them. :)

The whole day I've been reading a lot of criticism about this last chapter; how class A apparently ghosted Deku and how he didn't end up living his dream (things like that). This made me feel really disappointed. But, while I was watching the video, I stopped feeling disappointed and more happy with where this ending was going. I like the way MHA ends. Midoriya still has a chance to be a Hero and his ex-classmates support him. Right now, to me, It's a good ending

I am happy with the way MHA ended. Although he became quirkless again, he became a person that people look up to, and encouraged them to follow their dreams. He also became a hero again in the end without his quirk because all his friends thought that he still deserves to be a hero.
Deku inspired me to start working out and getting bigger. At the age of 13 I was skinny as he was before he got OFA. Now I’m 40 lbs of muscle heavier than I was. This manga started when I was in seventh grade and ended on my last year of college. Thank you Deku for inspiring me that I too, can become a hero.
Honestly I'm glad we got to see all of Class 1A at the end of the time skip, even if it's not all of them in detail with their new costumes I do love it. Overall while I'm sad to see one of my favorite anime go I'm glad I got to see it end.

When I hear "final", it just makes me want to cry. My Hero Academia has always been one of my favorite shows, I remember when my dad left to go visit my grandparents in a different country and I would just sneak into my mom's bedroom and watch funny moments from My Hero Academia. (mostly Bakugou just yelling at everyone, lol.) It brings a good laugh out of me all the time, I even played the MHA mobile games too! when I read the chapter it made me burst into tears. Just seeing your favorite character graduate, and is now all grown up and mature, it's just amazing, and wonderful and sad at the same time. Seeing this video made me feel good, even though I'm not going to college and stuff, it still felt sweet and nice to watch, I'm glad that you decided to talk about this chapter. Thank you, Kohei Horikoshi for creating such a masterpiece. Oh! And Happy 10th Anniversary to My Hero Academia!

It really cements his character progression and development into a heroic image of victory, which I found to be the most inspiring aspect of this series. (Although after nearly dying in a war, I think he deserves a higher rank.)

I think its interesting that in this one panel you found so much detail and that yeah they all were kinda put in their groups like this is kidna how I would imagine the inner circles look though they are all friends this is kinda how I think the closests relationships would be apart from maybe kirshima not being closer to bakugo I think the groups make sense and of course ida is in the middle as he should class rep for life it would seem. As far as shoto goes looking at deku I think its more out of thankfullness for pulling him out of the darkness that he thought himself to be in. Similarly uraraka she has been shown to be one of his closests friends and looks up to him even if this isn't to show romantic feelings it makes sense because how much she thinks he is just cool. meanwhile bakugo looking fowards with that cocky gleam in his eyes.

Mina looks absolutely STUNNING with longer hair and those longer horns, like seriously....Also I think the neck piece on Ochako may also be a reminder for Toga who had her blood mask that was connected to those needles she used back when they first met...just me reaching a bit. Also Eri being adorable and really inspired by Kyoka who was the first person to make her smile after all that mess with Overhaul she had to go through....her timidly starting to sing last chapter and then going full on rocker girl leaping on stage much to the shock and delight of everyone was totally adorable....though it surprised even Bakugo when she did that lol. I'm pretty happy with how things turned out and I'm sure fanfics are gonna go nuts now with even more Quirkless Izuku using tech to make up for not having a Quirk...just hopefully more like his and All Might's outfit and less a complete Iron Man rip off....then again that was a pretty obvious inspiration for the suitcase armor and Stain having a freaking Goblin Glider there in the end arc shows just how much of an inspiration MHA took from Western comic brands like Marvel and DC.

Me and my dad watched this show back when I was in the first grade. I remember that we predicted that dabi was shoto’s siblings. Back then, I really related to Deku. Mostly because I was the short nerdy kid. Ever since then, I’ve gotten friends and now I’m confident in myself. I stopped watching in season 6, but my dad finished watching it. I did keep up with the story though. I know how the story ended and what happened after I stopped watching. Mostly because of this channel.

This series has been nothing but an absolute joy to watch. Some admissions, I didn’t get the ending of OFA right. And my theory does need some corrections no doubt but I’m sticking with the structure leading to the prime power he used. OFA has SO many rules. All-Might finally has light back in his eyes after so many years and Deku gets to stay a hero. This is just an outstanding series and I will always hold it in the highest regard
But I guess I did love the show in total, and was expecting a lot better outcome, but Izuku being a teacher is so much sense to me especially on how he had always been on All Might's footstep and also a capable teacher...
But the thing is, I truly have a problem with All Might being a teacher, because eventually he still have favoritism in mind, not like Aizawa's teachings.
Although I kinda like the end being idealized as Deku having an Mini Iron Might Suit, but if I were to expect, it will just eventually used and repair again and again, just like Deku's bones 😂
Good characters' adult design, and some are just funny like Mineta, but I just kinda don't like Ochaco's design having that mask honestly.
If they wanted that mask to be correlated with Deku and Ochako's bond, or even relationship...
The bunny ears is more likely to be fitting than the mask itself, because Ochaco won't actually bite, she will use martials arts and pinned you to death just like bunny's kicks...
And also referred to Deku's first design, in which she can have it on her earpiece than having a mask with no use at all except to put it for a display, or just give it to Deku back. Like literally I don't want to think that Ochaco wants to smell that mask for whole 8 years. 😂
But I guess this is honestly the end, I truly wanted to watch the sequel, but I am not expecting about any of it due to that awkward flaw about Ochaco being cut off once again...
Because oh boy, the Trio (Bakugo, Deku, Todoroki) is back at it again....
I truly wish that the class also have their own ideals displayed like Shoji, Ojiro, and Koda.
Also, if they wanted to make IzuOcha canon in the sequel, I wish they won't just go, cut off Uraraka and make Deku talk to the two again.

So that's how it ends huh? What a finale. Could more have been done? Yeah. But Horikoshi's been grinding like crazy to get his story done so I accept the ending for how it is. What I would've like to see was Midnight's memory being honored more like a memorial or something, Deku's dad getting revealed, IzuOcha being officially confirmed because come on, it couldn't be more obvious, etc. So for those who are gonna really miss MHA, I say create something meaningful that others can enjoy, I mean that's what I'm currently working on. So with that, I have one last thing to say for now: go beyond, plus ultra!
Izuku and Ochaco are implied. In their body language, the way they act together in the few panels, and the fact that she's wearing his old Deku mask around her neck. Look at the way she looks up at him at the end. That's an extremely loving gaze in his direction. MHA wasn't meant to be a romance manga.
I really hope that the Anime ending adds some things that Horikoshi left out since while I know that Horikoshi expanded the story I feel like some point Horikoshi had enough and started rushing to finish and get it over with. Deku’s dad was literally promises to appear and never did

My Hero Academia. It Kinda hurts that by next year everything with MHA will be done. The last movie, the last episode, and we already reached the last page of the books. It hurts to know this show will be a thing of the past. One day forgotten by people as time passes. This show encouraged me, taught me some things that helped me focus on life, and showed me the path to a good dream. I want to make Manga books, I'm only 13 and started a year ago on art and I want to make books like these, with the lesson of not giving up because that's how I feel about art now. The ending of this series puts an image in my head, not everything is perfect at the end, but everything is okay once it's over. I'm going into the life of art and manga, and I'm nervous, but this gave me encouragement to keep following my dreams despite the hard path it will take. And maybe you can fight for your dreams too, because now we're being told It's our turn to keep this wealth of encouragement going.

Man this has been such an amazing journey. I started watching your videos after season 6 of the anime ended and if has been great going along with them because this show means a lot. As someone who was born with a visual impairment, asthma, and paralysis on half my face it has been a rough but getting to enjoy this story to help me feel better and escape my life has been amazing and I really like watching these videos because it feels like I am enjoying the story with other people. I have never felt more close to a character quite like deku, we both have a dream to be heros, we look up to the heros in real life and comics but heros non the less, and seeing deku get his dream again makes me so inspired, to keep on going to reach my dreams one day, thank you MHA for giving me another hero.

I’m ngl I like to think that uraraka wearing the deku type neckpiece is like a sign that they are dating/married similar to an engagement ring of sorts. Also I’m upset that not all of class 1-A had a summary of what they’ve been doing. I feel like horikoshi is gonna surprise us with some form of spinoff called like “My Future Academia” or something lmfao

I hope uraraka wearing that same neck piece deku had with his hero costume means their dating or they been hanging out time to time because when I saw this chapter, there was no confession or confirmation them being together, and there’s been an 8 year time skip, where deku said he hasn’t seen his friends since graduation, and he been feel lonely, that hurt me a lot seeing that. I just hope him and uraraka did talked or at least hang out during that time skip.
1 word. Heroic! MHA has been more than just a manga to me it has been a life guide i never knew that watching class 1A grow together, laugh together, cry together etc.etc. could mean so much it really shows you that yes they may just be kids but these kids are the future of heroes and as just like a flower they will grow from mere saplings to eventually blossom into Beatiful flowers Everyone lifted each other up when it was needed the most and Heroes may suffer more than you think but so does the Villians and the contrast between the two throughout the manga was just PERFECT! Down to their very Quirks to their Similarities between each other The Heroes of today will shape those of tommorrow and as Sad as i am to see it go I am Happy to see This Wonderful Manga End So Bittersweet Always Remember Heroes! I feel like some people aren't gonna like the loosing OFA ending but for me it was the ending that made the most sense because OFA was formed to Defeat AFO so now that AFO (the person and quirk) is gone there's no longer a need for OFA and as its stated in the chapter itself the rate of villains are decreasing and the rate of heroes are stable so theres really no need for it anymore
Yeah there really wasnt a need for deku to get done so dirty here though, like give him more than just a suit and an 8 year wait........

I assume that with the development of the suits, it might mean that more and more villains might appear and abuse these types of stuff, so that's one way Horikoshi can explore this universe. Or the villains can be extinct, but other types of evil like tyranny and corruption will come up, so that's a new kind of evil the heroes will fight. In any case, Horikoshi would definitely cook with any kind of manga that he wants to write next, so it's fine either way.

This one hits differently. That last line, I will continue to watch this channel, way more to offer than just BNH info but it definitely marks a page in the chapter book for sure.
Even if the story no longer focuses on Deku, the MHA universe is so unique to me because it reminds me of Marvel and DC comics. There is a whole universe and so many characters that can be focused on. Sagas and series that can be created. Different tier-level heroes and villains. Team ups and even a Big-Bad that so many groups fight sometimes. Shonen and Horikoshi could have their own division for this. Not to say that would happen, but the universe has the potential to do so. As long as they never focus or bring up a multiverse or time travel plot lol.
No multiverse. Absolutely not. This doesn't need it.
There are some arcs I'd be intetested in.
- Bakugo working both his rehab and getting Deku back in the game
- Tokoyami working on recovering from his near death experience and almost losing his quirk. Seriously that something i hope gets explored because if anyone deserves to tame Dekus place in the big 3, it's Fumikage
- How is Shotos family doing. I hope we see actual work of hom rebuilding his family while Shoto is in school and taking over his father's agency
- Give Shoji an expanded arc about him helping heteromorphs. He needs a chance to shine.
-Explore topical issues aside from domestic abuse and racism, like teen parenthood, addiction, class conflict, nepotism, etc.
- Don't be afraid to give us new characters throughout the sagas too.
That's about it my thoughts for now. No shipping because I'm NOT walking into THAT landmine.

Kohei could do the same as the author of Toaru, create spin-offs starring secondary characters from the main series, whether heroes, villains or neutrals, thus taking advantage of the secondary characters and exploring the world of the series. Toaru is very good at this, he manages to connect each spin-off to the main one because each story takes place at the same time. So we have everything from insignificant scenes like the MC in the main story setting fire to a bus to cause a traffic jam and catch the villain, while in the spin-off the MC who was after another villain gets stuck in that traffic jam. Even deep and sad scenes like a secondary mercenary from a spin-off becoming friends with a girl and arranging to have dinner together but then the mercenary dies in the main story. And while in the spin-off, the girl who doesn't know this until today waits for her visit to have dinner together. Combining 2 spin-offs and a main story arc you have the complete lore of a certain character. Spin-offs showing what character x was doing while an event was occurring in the main story, etc. It's a shame that in 10 years of MHA all we had was 1 spin-off and a film focused on the villains.

Tokoyamis guilt over Hawks losing his quirk, Shoto rebuilding his family, Denkis past being fleshed out, Ochako getting a second chance at redemption in helping a troubled person, and of course Bakugo filling in as a leader now that Izuku is now effectively retired. 8 years is alot to what we can explore prior to the timeskip
I loved all the content from plot armor this is where I first started getting into MHA and black clover manga I’m so sad it has ended but I’m very excited to see a possible sequel this is my first Shonen story I have officially seen the end of what a awesome story it was thank you for your awesome content and wonderful videos
I loved the series. The end did feel a bit rushed, I would have liked to see a bit more interaction between the characters as adults, but again great series
I'm still of the opinion that Dad For One was intended to be canon in the beginning, but he changed his mind about it later in the story. It's not just because Hisashi was absent. Horikoshi flat-out confirmed that the winged nomu was Wings Kid from the beginning, but why kidnap and turn him into a nomu? His quirk wasn't anything special. All For One would have also needed to sign off on the kidnapping attempt for Bakugo, but while you can sort of make that situation make sense, it makes MORE sense if you assume All For One has it out for everyone who ever bullied or hurt Izuku. Plus all the Star Wars references, and Horikoshi somewhat ominously promising that we would "meet him" eventually.
Jump is infamous for meddling with authors, even famous ones. Even superstars like Toriyama weren't immune. Cell was never originally intended to transform, Toriyama wanted him to look like a creepy bug-man the whole way through. It was his Jump Editors and Supervisors who insisted that he give Cell transformations, which is why Cell transforming at all is a bit of a plot hole. The androids were made to kill Goku; if Dr. Gero had a guaranteed way to do that in cell, why bother putting whatever vital components were necessary for "perfect" Cell in other androids? Why not just make Cell perfect? In the original script, this makes sense, because Cell never transformed. He would just get infinitely stronger the more people he eats: a trait which would get saved and repurposed when Toriyama was pulled back in to make the Buu saga.
So we know Jump can meddle, and we also know they meddled in MHA. Horikoshi wanted a Mutant Uprising arc, that would showcase discrimination in MHA society towards mutants and heteromorphs. That was effectively scrapped, and turned into Spinner's aborted attempt to be a revolutionary. And obviously he changed his mind about showing Hisashi, too. So I don't think it's really out of the realm of reason that he had intended a Luke I Am Your Father moment somewhere around or shortly after Kamino, but was talked out of it by his editors.

I will forever miss this manga and anime once season 8 is done. I want to thank the creator hori for giving us a magnificent ride on the MHA manga and thank you to plot armor for reviewing the manga each week. Glad that the kids have gotten their happy endings with a new student trying to be like deku. Looks like the gang did great in financing that suit for deku as he returns to hero work. Somewhere down the line there could be a sequel or spinoff if hori is up for it. This manga was a joy to read and the anime was enjoyable
Thank you, My Hero Academia. I’ve been with this series for 5 years and it has helped me get through some of the toughest moments in my life. It’s helped me persevere through times where I would’ve just given up. Deku has made me want to be a kinder person, and honestly, I don’t think I could see myself more in any other shonen protagonist. This has been my favorite manga/anime ever, and despite my issues with the final parts with this series, I will always cherish it in my heart as something truly special. Thank you, Horikoshi. Please just get some sleep now.

What a series this was... And this video has brought me closure... Loved this series from the origibal one shot, enjoyed the story immensely class A vs Class B was my favourite arc.... Endeavor vs Nomu my favourite fight, and All might telling deku he can be a hero my favourite moment... It felt a bit rushed when they started the final arc and probably wanted things to end s bit different... But all in all what a great story and am greatful to plot armor... Hyping up deku and the correct predictions was such a highlight of my memory of this story. Thanks to plot armor to giving the story so much life... I wish all the best man

It feels yesterday that I first saw MHA in Middle School through highschool. Honestly it is amazing to see Horikoshi complete his series.
Its great how they are all working together to better the world in different ways.
To see Izuku lose his embers was saddening, but to see him become a teacher was nice. Him sharing his knowledge to newer students would be great. Especially when he supported someones dream for being a hero.
So seeing All Might hand Izuku that suit was a call back to getting OFA. I'm glad be would be able to get an improved suit to continue being a hero.
The fact Bakgo and the rest of his classworked together to make the suit. Even better he's reaching out to him to continue being a hero once more.

I was sad with the last chapter because there was things that was that wasn’t answered or confirmed but when I saw deku getting the gift and showing Deku with class 1a on the last panel with that last text, it gives me a feeling there could be a sequel
Oh my gosh 😮😮😮!!! After reading so many comments about people being sad that MHA has ended, finally seeing someone comment the same as I felt about the last chapter makes me feel some kind of relief. Many people were saying that the ending was rusher or that it sucked. For me it was a rollercoaster of anticipation then bittersweet (because it seemed like Deku was hold back while his friends continued further) and then to happy (because Deku still got to be a hero at the end, and also brought some begining vibes) and somehow completion (since all of class A are heroes together at the end of the day, even Aoyama in there). Overall i am very happy with the ending, Horikoshi-sensei did amazing job on creating the whole series 😊😊😊

My hero academia in my eyes will go down as one of the best anime’s I have ever seen yeah, the fanbase was always questionable but that made me love it all the more this story was not only just a epic adventure about people becoming superheroes but another message to the world saying “don’t give up” this anime was certainly something truly special and yeah it breaks me to see something that I first got attached to back in 2020 come to an end and I’m excited to see what’s next for my hero academia it will be missed and I loved how it was always there for me when I needed it and lastly I thank Plot armor you my friend (apart from my other friends) was the reason I actually found my hero academia and thanks to you…you made me the most obsessed fanboy of this anime then ever before so thank you much dude for making great content and I wish you the best luck for your channel forever and as they said in the anime my number one favorite line “plus ultra!” ❤❤❤

This story was so special because the Hero gave his all into ensuring everyone else got a brighter future abd technically fulfilled his dreams as well. Usually the MC wants his dreams come true but Deku's dream was for everyone to have a brighter future. The only thing that never got resolved howeverwas Deku's dad's face but I can live with it seeing that it didn't hurt the story.
I've followed MHA for 4 years now. It was my first anime ever, and my favorite. I even collected all the Funko pops and adore all the storylines and fights. I could talk about this series forever.
Thank you, Kohei Horikoshi for making an amazing series that I not only was entertained by, but learned from. I will never forget the impact My Hero Academia has had on my life.

Major theory I have here: what if the armor All might and class A gave to Deku is the start of figuring out how to restore the natural power of OFA to him or at least as close as they can get to it because even though he hasn’t had it in awhile Dekus body still remembers the power it had and All might himself said that “quirks and technology are constantly evolving and he was skilled at using multiple quirks and he wants to gather data on him” and it took 8 years of planning for this to work so who’s to say the armor is not just a way to get Deku back as a hero but to restore the power he had that allowed him to live out his dream in the first place
This ending was a bit lackluster in my opinion. I mean, I quite like the idea of Deku becoming a teacher and then going back to being a hero with his friends and stuff, but... the fact that Deku also ended up alone, for now, is a HUGE bummer, I get it that romance wasn't exactly the focus of the story, but there was so much set up for Deku and Uraraka through it. And now all that setup was left with no payoff. Disappointing ending aside, I appreciate you covering the story and your videos are quite enjoyable, so thanks for making them. :)

The whole day I've been reading a lot of criticism about this last chapter; how class A apparently ghosted Deku and how he didn't end up living his dream (things like that). This made me feel really disappointed. But, while I was watching the video, I stopped feeling disappointed and more happy with where this ending was going.
I like the way MHA ends. Midoriya still has a chance to be a Hero and his ex-classmates support him. Right now, to me, It's a good ending

I am happy with the way MHA ended. Although he became quirkless again, he became a person that people look up to, and encouraged them to follow their dreams. He also became a hero again in the end without his quirk because all his friends thought that he still deserves to be a hero.
Deku inspired me to start working out and getting bigger. At the age of 13 I was skinny as he was before he got OFA. Now I’m 40 lbs of muscle heavier than I was. This manga started when I was in seventh grade and ended on my last year of college. Thank you Deku for inspiring me that I too, can become a hero.
Honestly I'm glad we got to see all of Class 1A at the end of the time skip, even if it's not all of them in detail with their new costumes I do love it. Overall while I'm sad to see one of my favorite anime go I'm glad I got to see it end.
