Scottish Borders Swallows keeping their nest clean.

If you have ever wondered how Swallows keep their nests clean and free on poop this video shows you how they do it. This was the second brood that they had reared this year. What I found really interesting over and above the way the feaces are removed, is that the male swallow seems to inspect the young one's bottom and gives him the okay that he is clean and can settle back in the nest.
