So great that you got to see Suede in concert Eli. I did a video a while back on them. I went to see them after they released the first album. Back when the original guitarist Bernard Butler was still in the band. They played the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Anyways. I got invited to meet the band before the show. I was able to get one of the promo posters of the first album signed by the whole band. It is hanging in my music room. They were so so so good live. This was back in 1993. Nice to hear that they played Animal Nitrate, The Drowners {very cool seeing Bret go into the crowd}, Metal Mickey and Beautiful Ones. It looked like an amazing show. Wow. You guys know how to have a great time. Way to go. >< I love the album Coming Up. Not to correct you because I do not like doing that. But Coming Up is their third album. The first is just called Suede. The second is Dog Man Star which is a double. The debut will always bring back the Suede memories. I am blown away by the footage. Suede is a highly intense band that delivers an excellent show, satisfying all those in attendance. The lead singer is a standout performer who grabs the audience's attention.The band really rocked out & delivered for their fans leaving them happy. Nice video footage of the performance. Then for free on holiday was it another band either Brett or Bernard Butler was in we just wandered into a square in Madrid on a summer's evening and there they were. Very fortunate. I'm tempted to get their latest album having seen the bbc sessions at Maida Vale recently. Cheers, Martin.
