Thanks. Just as easy as you made it look. Awesome oem upgrade. Miles better than the stock trigger. Hated how the original trigger safety wouldn't sit flush when the trigger was pulled. This one will and is much more comfortable to shoot. Looked at aftermarket stuff but was nervous about getting a trigger too light for concealed carry. This one is perfect. Slightly lighter with a much cleaner break.

Just installed mine. I really like it. It’s not as light as I would have thought but I don’t mind that. It doesn’t feel like it should be called a “performance” trigger, it feels like it should just be the new stock trigger.

It went well and seems to function great. I get to shoot this weekend.
I just installed the GPT into two G26's and installation was easy after watching the video. Both triggers feel about the same although one slide is difficult to take off using the takedown levers. I will admit that particular G26 was always a bit difficult in taking off the slide but now it's twice as hard. The slide on the other G26 comes off as expected. Hopefully going to the range tomorrow to see if how it shoots.

wow that was much easier than i thought. my trigger also came with that plate on the back of the slide, i dont know if i need to swap it out but i just left the old one in with no problems.

Hey y’all, I got a GPT installed on my 19X MOS, and 99% of the time it functions 100% of the time. But for that 1% it get’s stuck. Still fires, but takes about a 15lb trigger pull, and then goes back to working perfect.
It feels like the trigger safety isn’t being disengaged, but I’m fairly confident that isn’t it. It’ll do this malfunction for multiple shooters, and we pass it around when it happens and everyone experiences it.
It’s oiled, clean, and the striker sear and trigger bar are spotless.
Does not do it while dry firing.

The performance trigger is advertised as 5lb trigger pull weight bro. It's written in plain English on the packaging. I'm literally looking at it right meow. That's a half pound reduction from BNIB Glock trigger weight. It's the breaking point and take-up, as well as the reset that sets this trigger aside. It's a more clean felt crisp break. As opposed to the sponge gritty pull from the factory.
Mine says 4lbs on the packaging

There is no defined “wall” with the Glock performance trigger. It is light (3-3.5) but mushy. Little overtravel. However after you pull the trigger it will stop. But if you hold it, move the slide back the performance trigger will continue to move backwards. Reset is still not bad but it isn’t how it is presented in the video either.
It honestly made my 19x so much better and I already have more then 2k rounds through it

Only down side of the trigger is that it doesn’t keep the trigger to the rest when pulled, I liked being able to look at my Glock and see the trigger back and know it’s not cocked
Great video, thanks! In a last ditch attempt to actually like Glock, I bought a G19 Gen 5 and the Performance Trigger. Meh. Stock trigger is actually better, IMO. Still can't deal with the horrible ergonomics, and the G19 is the one that feels "least bad" to me. Used your video to yank the "performance" trigger out and put the stock one back in to trade it off for another P320 or M&P. Thanks again!

Step 10:
Before re-installing slide, lube the Glock recommended points on the new Performance Trigger.
It makes it so much smoother.
Thanks for the video! There is a spot that Glock recommends you oil on the trigger, I know how to oil the regular trigger. However where do I lubricate on the performance trigger?
I see at least 8 differences visually. Hence "I see".

so, how did you optimize that glock performance trigger then? 😢
I’m having an issue with the trigger bar rubbing against the slide stop lever and pushing it outward when I pull the trigger. Is this an out of spec trigger bar or something common?
I haven’t experienced that. It may be an out of spec part. My advice is to call customer care and see what they recommend. I apologize I couldn’t be of more help, but I’d rather have you get the correct information then potentially spread the wrong advice. 🤘🏻 if you get it figured out would you mind commenting the outcome so other people can see should they have that same mishap? Just got mine in about an hour ago. It just stuck me tho.. is this advised for an EDC? It’s gotta be a little less safe being a lighter pull, no?
I carry mine daily edc. Only more dangerous if you’re playing with the trigger cause it’s easier pull. But who does that? Hopefully no one. Finger off trigger till you’re ready to pull it at the intended target and it’s perfectly safe

How do I put it in the gen 4
This is only a Gen 5 option at the moment 👀
Glockstore has a video where Lenny shows how the GPT works in the gen3 and gen4 Glocks, including 40cal and 357sig. The main difference is the trigger housing , and once you take out your gen3 or 4 triggers, you will see what little plastic parts need to be removed from the bottom of the GPT trigger housing. 2 quick snips and that's all you have to do. If you're putting the GPT in a 40 or 357sig, then the only other thing to do is swap out the 9mm ejector from the GPT and replace it with the ejector from your 40 or 357sig trigger housing. It's really very simple. I've switched out several of my gen3 triggers to the new GPT triggers.
