@@joan-pau.74 Apparently the Series X is a bit sharper according to one video I watched so was curious to know. Framerate can also differ slightly in certain areas so was interested to see if it's just occasional or not.

@@Lewis-4 compared to other games this one is way better. You know devs actually worked hard to optimize the game when Series S can run it at 60fps. Almost all games this guy uploaded this year didn't run this kinda smooth, games would be 60fps but dip down to 40fps while this one was maintaining 60fps better.

before resident evil came out Alone in the Dark existed but not many knows about it, I feel they borrowed ideas from Alone in the Dark just check the year of release of the original pc alone in the dark

@mrse7engd834 No it's not. I am playing it now. Not even close. The gameplay mechanics are very mediocre and janky. The story is amazing. It's the only reason I'm still playing. Also lower the difficulty in Alan Wake 2 and look up walkthroughs if you're struggling. I didn't want to but I know I had to at some points.

In terms of hardware, the Series S is very good. I have the Alone in the Dark on these consoles and find the graphics more than adequate. The comparison between the Series X and PS5 doesn't help that much, as they only come into their own when you're playing on 4K gawking. Technically, the game is a successful reinterpretation except for small things and will be fun on any hardware.

Looks blurry everywhere, this game has some kind of filter that is very weird, I've seen blurriness even on a RTX 4090

@@madgambler1930 yes, check out some stuff on more fancy hardware, the game has a weird blur filter, I have no idea what it is. To make it look more cinematic maybe? Of course the Series S is a little blurrier because of the resolution, but others are also blurry.

I really enjoy the puzzles, characters, and the amazing story. Graphics are disappointing and gameplay is really janky at times. It's a decent game. Hopefully they clean some of this shit up in updates

What a horrible "looking" game, the character models all move like they have Rheumatoid Arthritis or bad stiffening of the joints. Lighting looks okay though.
