  • Hey friends! Exciting news-I recently joined the ‪@CliftonADuncan‬ podcast for a deep dive into the current state of Broadway. Clifton, known for his work in *The Play That Goes Wrong*, now hosts insightful conversations with guests from music theater, film, and TV.
We discussed everything from industry challenges to creative insights. Check out the podcast via the links below! Clifton's also working on a fascinating one-man play about the life of Thomas Sowell-definitely something to look forward to.
Don't miss out on this engaging discussion. Have a great day!

Kevin, can you do conductor/pit camera videos or would that be a copyright problem? I really enjoy seeing how the magic gets made. Also, it's time for a new Musical Monday.... something from Ben Folds, perhaps Kristine from the Seventh Grade? Thanks

Edit: I have finished watching the podcast 🙌

Yes this was an excellent podcast! The current model just isn't sustainable. The art suffers when people aren't allowed to be messy and make mistakes. That's why all these musicals on broadway is so boring and sanitized. It's like the film industry. The indie artists are going to have to carry on the art form.

It's sad to see someone that inspired me, and someone that I loved so much slowly fall through the alt-right pipeline because of obvious hate and misogyny. About two years ago I often saw the hateful remarks hoarded towards female singers and musicians as just banter and playful commentary, but now it's just obvious what is going on. How is a channel that is known for its tutorials and good natured advice now turning into a racist channel?

It was SO good! So proud of you! We can turn things around we just have to keep our heads down and be patient, the tide is going to turn!
