This channel should at least have 10 times the amount of subs and hopefully it will one day.

I hate to say it but I think the conversations on here are generally too fair and respectful to get to a wide audience. Too many people want to see a shouting match argument and this aint it.

It’s still a relatively new channel in a saturated market. Give it time.

Damn Clifton you got a pretty big name on. The fact you only have 25k subs is a travesty your interviews are awesome.

It's resentment; they don't want equality, they want revenge. That's a great analysis, Clifton. I'm going to remember that and explore it further. Thank you very much for these wonderful conversations, and thank you Sage. I am not a sports person so I'd never heard of you, but now I'm glad I have!

As a Brit that's not into watching sport, I've not heard of Sage but she is great and will keep an eye for her in the future. Such a brave, intelligent woman. I really hope it all works out for her and her family. Love from the UK to you all

Thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and meeting Sage. Have to admit I’ve never watched ESPN (in my lifetime of 60 yrs) maybe saw about 20 of my home team (CLE Browns and Indians) games in total. Haha. Maybe one Cavs game.
    Great conversation. Thank you.
    Sage is an inspiration.
    Looking forward to more.

Thank you for having Sage Steele on, Clifton. Steel in her constitution is right!
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
    Teacher, leave them kids alone
Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone
All in all, it's just another brick in the wall
She's right, her suffering won't be in vain! Great to hear such a loving mother.
Clifton, I agree that art can be so helpful! You know how music is the window into the soul? I think sounds directly influence our emotions which gets into our hearts, and as important as the intellect is to apprehend truth, if we lose our cognitive abilities, and are laying in a bed paralyzed and only able to blink, we can still be men and women of good will, which is motivated by our passions, which art can more directly influence uplifting hearts positively hopefully toward a deeper reality of truth, goodness, and beauty-- love! Or negatively toward a warped perception of reality perpetuating darker misery loves company desire which results in further darkening our intellect toward causing more suffering in ourselves and others.
You know what also helps with positive emotion? Hearing your eloquent "effervescence". You say it so smoothly!
Missed you Clifton! Hope you have a light-filled, as opposed to a de-lightful, peaceful good week!
P.S. Happy belated Batman Day. It was yesterday, September 16th. Just to make this podcast more dated...in history! It's repetitive but for some reason made it sound better to me. And for some reason when people refer to things as dated nowadays, it sounds better to me as well. Music to my old soul if you will. jk Have a peaceful night!

Sage Steele is a great conversationalist. I've never watched ESPN. Mostly I've spent much more time DOING sports rather than watching sports. This is part of the problem. There is WAY too much sport media.
I don't know if she can become a real journalist or a real content provider, but after seeing Sage Steele on Bill Maher, I knew I was interested in hearing more.

Once in a while, as a writer, I really like a good line I came up. I had my Civil War vet who saved serval lives during the war so is somewhat a war hero in their small farming village advice his son, "Courage isn't not being afraid. It's being afraid and doing the right thing anyway." Honestly, looking back over my life and when I've been brave enough to do the right thing well I haven't been in war but those words came from experience nonetheless. I have actually saved a life or two. I repeat them here because of what she said at the end. This applies to her. She is afraid and doing the right thing anyway. o7

The analogy I use when people in the media and elsewhere say, "There is no scientific study that proves men are biologically stronger than women" is there is also no scientific study into whether the sun rises in the east. It's because it's obvious just by observing nature.
