could never pinpoint what actually is, but even from radiohead standarts there's just..... something else in this. Music is just inexplicably beautiful when well done like this, holy shit
if someone can breakdown the theory behind it that'd be a sick video essay. the atmosphere is too well developed and thoughtout. even when it's live it sounds like the recording, so it's definitely hidden within the notation somewhere. great tune either way jfc

A lot of that has to do with how much he's shaking due to playing the acoustic that fast. That might be why they dont play this one very often. It's hard to make it sound good

El heavy como mucha gente no aprecia el trabajo de Phil Selway en batería. Es un puto moustro. Esta canción es particularmente difícil de tocar, no tanto por la técnica, sino que hay que tener aguante para durar toda la canción a ese ritmo.

I doubt it. The more Thom ages, the harder it is for Thom to sing in the lower register. And even then, this is pretty hard for Phil to play on drums. Maybe if this song was released around the Ok Computer era, we would've had more shows with Jigsaw in it.

@@guitareater6975 I guess it's just that Thom is a tenor so singing higher, even in chest is more natural than singing lower. As for Phil, that kinda was me just parroting what I heard. He's done more challenging drums so I'm not too sure about that statement.

Unfortunately they don't play this song as well as they play the others.. maybe because it must be really had to play. Anyway, it is one my favorite songs ever!
I feel like its just hard for Thom to sing it : they are usually doing 2 hour concerts and he must economy energy a bit to not to die in the end of the show and this song requires a lot of energy
They rush the song and O'Brian's guitar is mixed way too low imo. It's his guitar themes (especially in the second part of the song) that makes the song stand out to me. The bass is mixed way too low as well.

El que no fue, nunca va a saber lo que fue este recital. El sonido fue increible, y lamentablemente el video, a pesar de que suena muy bien, no le hace justicia para nada. Antes de ellos tocó Kraftwerk y te volaba la peluca también.
Después de este recital (y no el de AC/DC de diciembre como muchos piensan) fue cuando se empezó a limitar el sonido en ciertos espacios para presentaciones en vivo, sobre todo abiertos. Una cagada porque nunca se va a repetir semejante calidad de sonido y volumen.
Escuché a Radiohead toda mi vida, pero fue con este recital donde realmente quedé maravillado. Así que si tienen la oportunidad de ir a verlos, no se lo pierdan POR NADA. Nunca van a comprender la dimensión y profundidad de esta banda si no lo hacen.
No se sabe si algún dia volverán a tocar en Argentina o algún país cercano? Haría lo que fuera para estar allí :(

Not really a fan of jonnys guitar on this version
I'm sorry to say, but this version just has...way too much going on. This song needs that smooth, seductive quality from the recording. But here, Jonny's guitar is far too loud and his playing is too messy and chaotic. He completely drowns out Thom's voice and Ed's guitar at the beginning, and his constant volume deprives the song of the steady gathering of momentum that makes the album version so good. Jonny's a great guitarist, but he needs to show restraint sometimes.
