@@monieloveb1 yes, there were times where I would request paperwork and they would give me yet. If a dispatcher didn’t give you paperwork if you requested it then there definitely would be an issue.
My problem with a lot of the places expect everyone to be like what you explain from day one, new to the game or not, and if you can't keep up with their expectations , they toss you low paying runs every so often not making enough to pay bills and keep running. I am trying to get van and straight run it but all I have now is a pickup truck and not much money for gas to run 1000 miles the first week let alone however long it takes to get that first check. I always did round-trip $.76 a mile roughly but it all depends on where you’re going. It sounds like a better deal for the brokers but it’s really not. It’s the same as per mile to the destination.

I thought you get your own authority and DOT # and all that so you can get your own loads and not have to give up 18%. 18% of $100,000 grossed at the end of the year is $20,000:00. Why give up a down payment on a house every year when you have your own authority.?
It all depends on what you wanna do man I mean about having your own authority you still run under your own authority with this company and you pick and choose whatever you wanna do I also get loads on my own through loadboards they get less of a percentage I also find my own loads to not as much anymore but I’ve done that too but that’s a lot of cold calls I mean I’m pretty good on money so I’m not really worried about the 18% it helps them out to it’s all part of the game not really a big deal it all depends on what you wanna do my man All I care about with my authority is calling on my own shot I don’t give a shit as much about the money it’s all about being my own boss not having anyone tell me what to do having the freedom to see my kids and do whatever I want with my children I never have anyone tell me what to do that’s all getting my authority was about for me and also more brokers and opportunities have been arising as my authority has been aging so it’s all up to you whatever you want to do if it’s not worth it to you it’s not worth it to you man just as long as you’re happy in life
