This is so true. Stop listening to all these youtubers. I started as a ONLY trucking insurance agent did it for 8 years, started doing Compliance services for my customers once I learned the ins and outs of trucking after a few years THEN I started dispatching and it’s not what people think. There’s a lot of risk you have to know how to check brokers how to build relationships with, there a lot more than ppl think involved!
Absolutely right Tony! It’s about who you know in the business that can get you direct with the brokers and shippers. I made more money working straight with the broker directly in a day… than I did with a contract company in a week. Get you a dispatcher or build a relationship with the broker or direct shipper, someone who knows the broker and that is what’s key to this business.
I only follow the influencers who make sense. Out of all influencers this one is the best one I have ever followed. Because I could feel the genuine side in his stories. You gotta really feel the person you watch and then you have to pay attention to how they trying to help you. I’m not an influencer but speak from experience.

Yes, you are right. Things are always watered down. Those independent super truckers with all of the bling and custom work done to their trucks go directly through shippers. However, they have been in the game for many years. The cool part about dispatch is that you can do it anywhere and don't have to be on the road.

So true Tony brokers a straight up crooks ,have my cdl for 20 years never heard any thing good about brokers even inside big trucking companies.
You have to find a trusted Broker or a trusted friend that has a relationship with the broker. All you need is at least two years of authority to get with a good broker.
