@@alvinkellam473 thats awesome!! I just came across these videos and it seems like a great business besides being very physically demanding. I am used to being very busy though. May I contact you somewhere to ask a couple questions ?
I really enjoyed this video. I can breathe now, by the looks of things I got everything I need. Now, I'm working on the van in early 2024!! Great video!
Yes its 5/11/2023 I just got a good line of credit for this sprinter van. Came across your video thankyou for the info. I'm in the miami area crossing my fingers. But your video was pure and on point thankyou. Keep them coming Stay blessed up there in Phoenix.
man just gave the blueprint to come up... preciate this man.... love that hat Branded Bills? if i ever see you here in AZ im gonna pick your brain more...
Depends on where you rent from because if you rent from enterprise, you have unlimited mileage on a cargo van as long as you rent it for a full month and there is no mileage fee
Man, Thanks 👍. I had many questions and you answered a few for me. I typed in Cargo Van business start-up & you pop up. You gave me a few different options. I am starting out renting a van, it seems the way to go for the moment. I was concerned with the MC # and that kind of thing. I plan on doing local anyway. I do have LLC & EIN numbers so that's a start. Thanks
Great video and very helpful information, straight to the point, the only thing I wish if you can make a small video about it is the payments process between the carrier and the broker or dispatch or customer? Thank for the info bro
On jobs sites I've found combining owner operator along with the year of your van and then doing searches for every year before one by one is great for finding opportunities that your van qualifies for.
Man bro, I really wanted to research this and you nailed it like a pro, you covered everything I could think of and your video sounded genuine. 👌 Awesome. Gonna have to subscribe.
I bought mine with my personal credit. A buddy of mine owns a dealership and we got it through the auction. Didn’t have the business or business credit established yet.
Bad ass info. Thanks. Way to the point and not full of BS fluff. Right on. Been doing some serious self reflection on a new direction in a career. Tired of freaking being told what to do by some AH "Boss". Dkz. Been self employed before. Construction has worn me out. At 55 need some hope and dreams to do IT my way. Lol Thanks
I have a 2019 Dodge promaster 1500 ready to go. I have 1 million dollar liability, LLC, 100k cargo insurance, EIN, ect. I'm in Oklahoma and finding it really hard to find a job. I need help
Bro we all have to link up, I currently worked for Loomis Armored in Oklahoma City, I am going to start doing cargo van. Going to get my LLC, DOT, Insurance and sprinter van by the grace of God.
Great video! You mentioned that you lease a van, is that working out well so far? If you were in the same position again would you lease? I like the idea of leasing something newer to reduce breakdown possibilities. And I don't have any capital to buy outright. Im sure there are specific stipulations, are you qble to add e track or do other mods? I'm in old town so I noticed the cap right away! Thanks!
Hello and thank you for making this video it is good I just have one question if you want to be expediting cargo in a sprinter van where do you go to get the experience to expediting OTR thank you
Thank you for all of this info. I have 1 question.. does the year/miles of the van matter? Will I get less work if I have an early 2000s van with 160k+ miles? Or does the the year and miles not matter at all?
Your video was very informative and I’m looking to videos for you with more info on how to start a cargo van business. I’ve recently bought a cargo van to do plumbing work but I’m looking ahead in the future and I do where and for how long I can continue doing this so I’m looking to transition from being a plumber to cargo van owner operator. Any information on doing so would be greatly appreciated thank you
Bro I’m looking for some guidance. Started the process on the cargo van and as I’ve been doing more and more research I’m kinda getting deterred from the cargo van business because I have a prior Dwi conviction from 3 years ago! Feeling like that is going to mess up a lot as far as getting contracts and really getting to the money. Any advice?
Hi sir, what are the best insurance companies, that's my first concern, van payments are okay but let's see if a new van driver I can afford the million dollars insurance payments first. I been driving for Amazon, uber, ect don't have any problems driving. Clean record and really interested in cargo van business. Second concern is to find loads. Hope you reply, thank you 😊
I think he forgot one. Do your research to see if your in a busy market for cargo vans before you go out and purchase a cargo van & expensive insurance . Make sure you Can get loads or dedicated routes before you purchase a van & 1 million dollar insurance so you won't regret it. I've seen many people waste a lot of money not doing proper research. Just my opinion.
Hey man!! great content, i recently started with a cargo van and im in canada....Thanks for putting out this content. the apps you recommended are loadboards right?
Thank you for dropping the gems bro . I want to initially get into this career using XL rented vans . Do you know which (if any) of the apps you mentioned (& also brokers) are cool with rented vans ?
I had a wet wreckless in CA 5 years ago but nothing, not even a speeding ticket since. I live in FL now and am thinking of financing a sprinter van and opening an LLC. Would it be wise to try doing this?
Hey dude. Thanks for your vid. Do you know if the rental companies like Enterprise provide the necessary insurance as an add-on to the rental itself? Or do I definitely need my own insurance?
How's it going brother my name is Grady I reside in the south suburbs of Chicago Illinois I was wondering if you are hiring in this region of the Midwest I have a clean driving record as well as a clean background and cargo van & delivery experience.
From my understanding using a cargo van unless that van is over 26,000 pounds you don’t need a dot or Mc number once you have a dot number you are to have an eld in your van So how are these guys getting away with making crazy miles in 3 days
Hi Bro, I am a truck driver but thinking to get a van and get into this business. Can you suggest me which van is the best for cargo business and do you have any idea about are there any potential or enough loads from and to Houston,tx where I live. Thanks
Hi,brother. I have seen all your videos, I got my llc and ein number and business account. Seeking for a chevy express cargo van here in gainesville florida between Jacksonville and Orlando. Thanks for the information
Bro I’ve been watching your vids for a couple of months and you’ve inspired me to start my own business. I quit my job last month and bought a 2018 ram pro master 1500. I have my LLC and wanna do local runs in Florida. I’m in Kissimmee/Orlando area. Are you onboarding here ?Im ready to get this money
I want to start doing my own courier deliveries using a van. I’m in the predicament of financing a used van or leasing a brand new van. Any suggestions ?
How can you as a shipper be assured you are not scammed using Shiply? I saw a load from AL to OR and they load is just a stupid looking couch.. does not seem legit. Any comment? Thank you.
Hey Cameron! Glad to hear all is well with the business and the family bro! I wanted to ask you about the onboarding process with the new business app you have going.
