- Man this is awesome, fully analog four voice drum machine, with completely chaos mode or solid DAW "pop beats" mode.
A very interesting machine.

My neighbours have no idea what's coming :)
Ha ha that made me laugh 😂
You made my day 😅👍 !
Think of the joy you'll bring them, they'll be bringing you freshly baked brownies every morning
Our neighbors will be calling the police to report a Martian invasion.
Remember to put green stuff in the brownies the. Just a bit, so they don't really notice it ;P
Hahah at 7 mins...
Nick: "this is quite mind blowing actually..."
Vlad: "....yeah"
haha absolutely
@@JogLab find films with(by) Alexandr "Nevskiy" Kuritsin! He talks in the same manner )) There are a lot of trash block busters in a mood of 80s :) kind of... But don't tell Kuritsin that his films looks like parodies! :D
he doesn't even look at the camera haha
That is a sample in itself
Pretty dead-beat dry-bone, and a genius
How refreshing it is to see something truly innovative and built to last a lifetime. You can see how passionate Vlad is about his instruments :)
Most interesting thing at the show so far
This is the most uniquely powerful drum machine I've ever seen, daaamn it's amazing!
Indy Slide i agree fully.
This is THE sonicstate superbooth 2019 video I have been waiting for
Vlad Kreimer is the most genius synth developer alive I think.
the other module maker agree.
yup
him and the mutable instruments person
This demo is on another level. Amazingly demonstrated. Well done.
Hope we get a Sonic Lab on this one. Most interesting thing to happen to drum machines since the Machinedrum
Best thing at the Superbooth by about a million percent. Im no analog fanboy at all, but this I would buy in a flash. This the the kindof gear that can give you a sound of your own if you put the time and effort in.
And Vlad you effin rock man!!!
"It's like a Lifetime Long Machine."
"also, you can create total madness" 😁
(madness already occurring hehe)
most interesting instrument in a long time. love everything about it.
This machine will start its own musical genre. Awesome
It already sounds like industrial techno to me ;P
WOW this is wild. I got the chills from thinking about all the possibilities of this machine. Really excited to get one of these. Machine build looks like great quality and the innovation in the concepts behind the operation of the instrument is inspiring.
You could start a new religion with one of these.
I'm already thinking of who I can sacrifice to get one
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Alan Coombs I’m in
All glory to the Pulsar 23 in the highest (and the lowest notes).
FANTASTIC!!! SOMA is the most cutting edge company I know. Unconventional instruments is what we need now in our future.
At 4:05 he becomes a patch cord and the cyborg is complete. Kudos, this is expressive percussion!
I dont think ive been this hyped about a new machine in a while. This looks insanley good.
Sent an email already. Id love to buy one of these.
If I ever buy a drum device (and I never thought of doing so) - this would be my #1 candidate 😎 !!!
Looks like one of the stars of the show, hope they've built enough.
does this guy realise that he already is a legend?
I dont think he realizes
Magnificent machine fantastic colour
That thing is completely bonkers in a really good way!
I have no idea what I just saw, but I completely love it
Vlad is a twisted genius. I'm glad I'm on the waiting list for this!
If you go on the list do you pay upfront ? Do you know shipping cost etc?
@@RonCavagnaro From Soma's website: "If you like the sound and the project you can get on the pre-order waiting list and be among the first ones who will receive PULSAR-23. Just send your request to somasynths@gmail.com with subject “PULSAR-23 pre-order”. In your mail, please mention the country where you want the synth to be delivered to and your phone number (it could be useful if our mails go to spam). No deposit is required."
@@donaldpriola1807 I'm now on the list oh I can't wait :)
LOVE this..finally something actually different...
This is what we’ve been waiting for. No menu diving needed!
This one in particular seems special.
Anyone hearing this will be very impressed and blown away instantly. This is totally badass.
that is why good sound: no crappy parts
words to live by actually
Not really. It is actually due to knowledgeable and creative design.
@@KentBuchla knowledgeable and creative design coupled with great parts.
@@Enucentro That's what my parents thought when they made me...
Beautiful! No doubt this will become very very wanted.
Dave Smith sighting @ 9:53
Me at beginning of video: "Why the f.@# would you not use banana jacks?!?!"...... sends cv and trigger impulses through human flesh...." OOHHHHH".
I believe this also saves a lot of space
@@floppydisk921 and money! I think his cost estimates said if it had been traditional bannana Jack's it would have cost several times more which would definitely make it completely unaffordable for most.
@* AnimalHeadSpirit * lol something I hadn't even considered but now I'm very excited for the noise show possibilities
I'm in line for this , if i could bud infromt i would , this is something i've been looking for for a long while .... Genius
Just absolutely freaking great!
Im in love withthis box already. Its just so fucking mental and metal.
Vlad looks like he could be Tony Rolando's (from Make Noise) dad and they're both geniuses who are pushing synths/music forward. Would love to try the Pulsar out one day
I'm into everything about this, with the exception of no quantizing.
Yes that makes it a very tough sell.
@@ksqmusic just listen to a metronome
Use the trigger ins? Practice your tempo control more? 🤷🏼♂️
You'll be grateful for it in the long run... not only will you become a much better Drummer, but you will learn to right FAR better Patterns!
Fuck quantization!
Fuck quantization.
Thanks Nick! Yes, that thing looks totally amazing.
there are too many amazing things coming out.
This makes me so glad I passed up about 7 other drum machines the past couple of years.
When it comes to a drum machine, I like it simple and straightforward with a focus on fast and easy workflow so this is not the drum machine for me. But I certainly see why it would be THE drum machine for a lot of people and I respect the very interesting and innovative design and features.
Man, I love it! Thanks Nick and Vlad - You just made my day! I'm so much looking forward to that piece of art.
I have not been excited about hardware lately, but this is really something!
Best Soma product so far. Just wow.
This guy is the future
this man is a genius .
I love this thing. It's as mad as a bag of wolverines.
Sounds bloody brilliant though! Exactly the kind of strange and most definitely rare instruments that I like such as the LaTronic Notron sequencer.
Apart from the incredible machine, i really have a soft spot for socially arkward people. He's just so great.
The lack of eye-contact suggests something. But that's no judgment, just an observation. The guy is brilliant.
Then you'd like me. Maybe haha.
@@fakshen1973 Aspergers?
He’s not socially akward. He’s Russian. There are cultural differences when it comes to socializing in every country. Russians don’t do pointless small talk. He’s just real and straight to the point, hence Russian.
Amazing machine! My favourit this year so far :)
This conversation cracks me up every single time ;)
Otherwise, fantastic machine!
fascinating to use Alligator Clips and poles instead of jacks! the performability must be insane
That's a fabulous thing
Looks a bit like like some industrial control panel from the seventies.
Recycled from Chernobyl.
And, oddly, will be great for some Industrial
This beast is the product of insane genius!
That looks superb - and Vlad is super cool
I can't wait to play!
This Drum machine is Bad ass!! I want one!!!!!
What a beast :) Love SOMA labs
It's big, it's experimental, it's bonkers & it's bright orange. How much? Take my money :D Expensive. But WOW! What an interesting machine.
8:56 those "kah"s are amazing
Glorious machine
Enough with all the clones, more crazy shit like this please!
Hope nick ordered one.
Just waiting for people to start releasing videos of them with this drum machine connected to every part of their body, from their head all the way down to their toes. 😂😂😂
So keen for this to arrive at my door!
Seriously how can anyone click on "unlike" on this video? Whoever you are - You should be ashamed.
. At last something truly new. Inspiring stuff.
Evil genius! Want! Need! Taking to a whole other world and level.
Magic! I want one so bad.
very original ,good sounding and fair price
RESPECT
Soma products are like fresh air. Just bought their ETHER.
i've never been so confused in my whole life and I love it
that screaming clap!! just love
Beautiful, simples!!
Intro to golden axe 4:18
See you in 2 hours
Imagine if Vlad and Jexus got together......
And that is where this ‘meeting’ would have to occur.
Love it, pure diamond!
It's so huge
amazing
Nice Jomox type
Ooh, that's nice. A pity there's nowhere in a few thousand miles where I can shop-lift one
I suppose $1200-$1500 is actually not that bad a price for something this amazing
1800.
@@stickyfingazz2103 1800? Did you actually finish watching the video? Vlad himself says in the end it's going to be between 1200 and 1500, I assume he meant euros as they are in Berlin.
@@Enucentro no not all the vid. it sound great . i see above 1750 on preorder in a berlin shop ...
He is simply mad scientist
I lost track how often you said WOW
Best drum machine ever,
A beautiful mind
wow what an effing great machine...on my "to buy" list
How exciting!
i love this.
Aphex Twin liked this :) awesome job Soma!!!! ...1200 is not a little, but u get a 4 voice full analog super open bended body playble DM! (well constructed) Maybe a little bit expensive if will be more than 1200, but... unique for sure!!!
I'm waiting for SETI to announce discovery of unexplainable new signals on their radiotelescopes..
Incredible
"No crappy parts, so build solid" tee-hee
This puts DFAM to shame actually, waiting for the pricetag though...
Nice to see what billy bob thornton is up to today
WOW GREAT STUFF
